[X] Ask Stigmar and Abjorn if there's anyone in their family lines they'd like to consult or speak to.

We could talk with Hasvir's killer too.
Or ask the boar if they would want a unkillable troll for a training dummy. /joking

We have three options here, so I've taken all of them and put them into one plan:

[X] Plan We Can Do Three Things
-[X] Ask Stigmar and Abjorn if there's anyone in their family lines they'd like to consult or speak to.
-[X] Go outside and watch the fight for a bit, see if we can see anything interesting.
-[X] Talk to the cold eyed woman quietly eating a table away

Like the suggestion of asking Abjorn/Stigmar if there's a relative they'd like to meet, as well as talking to the goddess of tomboys.

Huh. Totally missed that. I blame reading the update immediately after waking up.

[X] Plan We Can Do Three Things

Still picking this if we only pick one, though. On the other hand it's currently in the lead...

[ ] Ask Stigmar and Abjorn if there's anyone in their family lines they'd like to consult or speak to.

[X] Ask the Boar for something
-[x] Food and drink for your group
-[x] News and rumors

So if it's helpful, I would encourage you to swap over to Plan We Can Do Three Things if you hadn't seen it. It includes both this, but also lets us watch the fight and do other fun things like a potential plot hook which might let us speak to the goddess Skadi.

I understand the reluctance to get too close to the fight, which is why I re-worded it it to make it more clear that we would spectate and not participate. But I think that providing more hooks for potentially fun things to happen can't hurt, and might provide a chance for IF to reveal some fun surprises.

Fair enough I suppose, since I didn't notice IF saying we could vote for up to 3 things.

Hey Halla!

1) Has Abjorn hit Stage 1 yet? Has he done Hamr, Hugr or Fylgjur Infusions?
2) Does the idea of 'casting' a Seidr spell into an item make sense?
3) What about making an item that can cast a single, specific Seidr spell you know?
4) Have you taught your friends, family and hird about stuff like Alloying having a much larger scope than just Hugareida, stuff like that?
5) Is Time 'frozen' when you put something in a Fylgja, Pocket or Fast? Like if you put something that would spoil inside them do they.. not.. spoil?

I mean, that does sound hilarious as an alternative method for sealing Drysalt. Only question is whether it'd last longer than whatever else we can come up with. Hasvir's method seems to have worn off in like 100 years or less, but how long would it take Drysalt to escape from being a target practice dummy?

Hasvir's method doesn't seem to have worn off at all, honestly. Evidence suggests that if Drysalt is bound in that manner, someone needs to actively free him. Solrun's father freed him once, and then Dorri (or possibly his father) seems to have done it again after Hasvir's death, but it doesn't happen passively from what we've seen, it requires active effort.

The Capacity isn't worth the loss of shields, the hand thing is potentially very useful, though. I think we'd want the non-Folded version rather than Folded if we had to pick one (and, until we get another Fast, I think we do), but that's probably a solid call. The down side of not being able to spend Orthstirr on extra dice for IAT (or having to always do so, for exactly the same amount) is pretty sizeable, though. Hmmm. Maybe we need to wait for Fylgja Infusion 8 for this so we have another Fast to fill with a couple different versions...
I don't think we have to pick, actually. From what I understand in the post I linked, any trick we put in our Fylgja, we can use as our own in our main body. Without hand gestures too.

9 Shields just seems sort of appropriate.
