Well, as mentioned earlier I consider the Blackwater and Boris absolute must haves, but since everyone is voting for them I can try to influence a bit positions 3-5.

[X] Druchii Diplomats
-This is actually important and while them sneaking in seems like a long shot now, we really ought to at least try to get some update on what they are up to in Laurelorn, even if people do not want to deal with them.
[X] Kalishiniviks
-Has to be now and while it is more of a 100% completionist thing, I have half a feeling that it may turn out to be important.
[X] Eonir Tourism
-Honestly, not my first preference, but since it seems likely to make it to the top five, may as well get something fun out of the deal.
[X] Middenland
[X] Nordland
-Let's finally start paying attention to the very important political happenings that may end being directly relevant to the continued viability of the Waystone project in Laurelorn, plis.

Anyway, I mostly expect the Eike social to be a fluffy indulgence of relatively limited relevance. I get why people are voting for that, but personally I'd put that one just at about the bottom of the priority list.

The main benefit of it beyond fluff is probably filling in the number on Eike's character sheet for her Piety score, as it's a difficult one to gauge through our usual turn actions. But we know she doesn't have any hidden traits or hidden skills affecting the number, and it's neither the highest nor the lowest, and as mentioned we're unlikely to do anything to bump the score up regardless of what it is. The thread seems largely uninterested or opposed to acting as a spiritual mentor. Which, fair. Mathilde's doing a lot already, and faith as an entirely private thing is a perfectly valid perspective both in and out of character.

Has someone already considered the feasibility of throwing a bunch of vampire bodies* into a pocket space and having it seal up on them? Even if they do regenerate how hard would it be for them to escape?

*Perfectability a bunch of vampires who hate each other.

I think it might be enlightening. People tend to treat Eike as a devout Shallayan, being wary of things that might offend her faith. I think that just because she favored Shallya before she even was a wizard, it might not mean as much to her as to the thread.

I'd love to introduce her to our Oldest Friend if she has the inclinaison. Does Eike even know Mathilde is a Ranaldite? We showed her our shrine but Shallya was also depicted in the painting we showcased.

Even if Eike is a 100% devout Shallyan, it's perfectly doable to be both devoutly Shallyan while also engaging in necessary violence.

It's not like Mathilde strictly follows all of Ranald's tenets, either.

I also see no need to try and convert her.

Assuming they have the ability to use magic, what prevents them from making their own exit? With unlimited time, that's a lot of chances to pick up the skill of ripping holes into reality. In the best case, they fall into the warp, but that's already considered less reliable than the current methods used.

A lack of AV. We can't manage making a hole without it. Also if they don't manage it within a few years they are likely to be too insane to figure it out ever. Especially if we stuff a bunch of vampires that hate each other together in a very tight space.

The AV is needed to make the liminal realm, not the hole. Daemonologists open holes to reality all the time, albeit for rather different reasons.
It could be. It's actually not that difficult to open portals to the Warp. The hard bit is closing them again. The typical way to accomplish this is to kill whoever opened it and tell everyone to stay away from that general area for a century or so.
Good news: this area of research is already well-established and there's a fair few people out there actively trying to teach it to willing students.

Bad news: it's called Daemonology.

As said, I get why people are voting for this and why some don't want to touch the Dark Elves with the proverbial ten foot pole. I just don't agree with that reasoning.

To each their own and all that. That's why we have votes in these things.

Sure, but my point is more that the thead tends to treat Eike like a devout Shallyan despite very little to indicate that she is devout and commited to Shallya. In a polytheistic society I imagine that people take their time finding their favored Diety (if any). Just because Eike once favoured Shallya when she was a kid doesn't mean that she hasn't or won't search for a god that better fits her current mindset and circumstances.

I also see no need to try and convert her.

Even if we don't actively try to convert her, just sharing our own faith with her might make Eike curious about Ranald. She does idealise Mathilde after all and I don't think that Mathilde should be afraid to be proud of her Old Friend and all they have done together.

I think we can be confident at the very least that Eike hasn't found another deity she prefers since then.

In her character sheet under Piety skills, she has Shallya at 1/3 and no skills (partial or otherwise) for any other specific god.

Piety:
Old World Pantheon (Northern) (1/3)
Old World Pantheon (Southern): Having grown up in the softer corners of the Empire, she is familiar with the more civilized of the Empire's Gods.
Shallya (1/3)

Oh, no, no, no, I don't support that mindset at all. Whoever Eike worships, and however she does it, is her business and her choice alone. We want to talk about piety with her to touch bases, to tell her our perspective and get hers to improve our understanding of each other.

Could she, theoretically, find that a different god suits her mindset better as she grows up? Maybe. Should we figure that into our plans? No. Such a thing would be extremely personal, and could only ever be initiated by herself.

Considering we have [Sigmar (2/3)] it certainly doesn't seem to indicate much piety either. If anything, Eike doesn't seem to neccessarily have much interest in religion currently.

I agree with the goal to touch bases and share perspectives, whether or not Eike decides she wants to know more about our perspective after that is entierly her choice.

Based on what I know of warhammer's lore/vibes this would lead to a semi-sentient pocket Elemental Plane of Vamprism. Which is admitedly rad as hell but Mathilde has enough pets already.
