I like this one the best:
[X] Knightmear

And I like these better than Dammerlichtreiter:
[X] Knightbringer
[X] Nightbringer

I jest. I'm into Daemonology only insofar as it doesn't involve the Chaos Gods. I know we probably aren't going to end up working with more Apparitions, even if some might be willing to work with Handmaidens. We already got what we wanted out of Apparitions, and it'll take a lot of convincing to push the boundaries further when we have so many other things to do.
Tbh I think the main issue is "where will the AP to do it before elfcation come from", and the most likely answer being 'nowhere' means it'd probably be pushed to after.

But let me be clear, the twin revelations that apparition summoning scales up to cataclysm and that Staff of Mistery applies means that I am 200% going to push for a whispering darkness capture, because throwing together a Band equivalent of those and keeping it BM is an entire weightclass above any other prospect I'm aware of for Mathilde's personal combat power.

Knowing getting it before elfcation is a pipedream though, I can at least push for arcane mark mastery in the meantime. Who knows, mastering our shadow and the mist mark could make it even more crazy!

[X] Knightbringer
[X] Nightbringer

I've liked these two since I first heard them, especially in the "the former can be the name of the spell and the latter of the rider" incarnation.

You follow that line of thought to the magical signatures that the Eye of Gazul works upon, but that would require the caster to either memorize a dozen or more different variations of the spell to work on those different types of magical signatures, or to carry upon them the recordings of those signatures to be able to focus the spell through.
Expanding on this, could we make a version of this spell designed to target [species] and just let it go, to endlessly and relentlessly hunt them forever?

Because that sounds useful.
