Huh, was hoping for some other neat things, but I guess we're good on all that, so we can just get some shiny things for later!

Let's see, our share of profits from the Raid was 70 Silver and 5 Gold ounces, we can pretty comfortably delve into that for our stuff. I'd say we get all the Seeds we can so we can get more variety in our Soulscape and our home farm, then we use our Freebie Tokens to get some Glass, then spend the rest on some Sprang and some Pottery?

The mercenary knock on effect is super impressive

That's an unironic strategic tilt to the balance once the war arc arrives. Thatll be on top of this trip paying for enough food to cover the coming famine, and ideally dealing with any benefits that come from dealing with that salt lick guy

Wasn't expected but it's actually a good setup, people in Agder generally don't have a huge beef in this struggle, they're actually pretty ideal when it comes to peacekeeping and keeping a lid on local problems, and he can effectively hire reliable mercenaries to help give his own experts a chance to develop without having to make too many compromises elsewhere.

That wasn't the expected outcome of doing this, but it really does work out.

If im understanding this correctly

[X] Plan: Buy Everything (-35oz of Silver, -3 Tokens)
-[X] 60 Sprang (-1 Token)
-[X] 30 Glass (-1 Token)
-[X] 55 Pottery (-1 Token)
-[X] 35 Seeds (-35oz of Silver)

Unless we can custom order stuff or buy knowledge, I don't think theres gonna be a better way to get horrifically rich right now

EDIT: The vote thingy doesn't like this, and I don't know how to get it to accept plan formatting Worked it out

Anyway, I'm thinking we get all the Glass on sale--that's a pretty flexible source of Bling for future projects, and an aesthetic one to boot. Then we grab the full stack of Seeds with our own money, and use our last token for pottery, and then we grab a pile of Sprang just to see what we can do with it.

I haven't really been keeping track of how much money we have, but pottery for More Food is a good idea.

Also, we may be able to resell the pottery at the end of the trip to recoup some of our costs.

[X] Plan: Glass, Seeds, and some of the other stuff
-[X] 30 Units of Glass (-2 Tokens)
-[X] 25 Units of Pottery (-1 Token, -52 oz Silver)
-[X] 35 Units of Seeds (-35 oz Silver)
-[X] 20 Units of Sprang (-60 oz Silver)

Should give us some nice variety while leaving us a hefty budget for a big metal purchase once we get home.

Sure, we can afford more, but most of our windfall's going to go out the window buying up metal back in Asvir so we can arm our crew over the course of the Winter. We don't want to go crazy just because we have a surplus right now.

Makes sense to me, don't need to spend it all in one place as it were.

Some of the Sprang could be a good gift for Asva, Steinarr would probably appreciate some seeds. Not sure what Sten would enjoy, but the pottery is definitely useful.

Would it be rude to get Asva a gift since Jordan is on the trip? Like would it be implying he can't provide?

This plan just...gets less stuff and spends more money than the above? For no reason? I don't understand why you'd do it.

Is anyone else worried about this?

Yes. But there's not much to be done about it.

What kind of mortal crop would provide the best bang for its buck via the soulscape considering IF told us we could specify the type of seeds we wanted.

Huh, a Token just straight up cleans out the inventory?

Okay, sure then. Just Buy Everything.

[ ] Buy some sprang (3oz silver per unit, up to 60 units, 1 unit can be used to make 1 article of clothing)
Great for Asva, skilled artisan with very high quality tools and exotic materials.

Single harvest plants are harvested once and that destroys them.
Multi-harvest plants are picked and then return to their harvestable state after some time, without things like seasons. (depending on the plant)

So multi harvest would generally be much better bang-for-buck when it comes to Odr.

Fruittrees! Multi-harvest food plants, great to ensure we always have some level of food on hand to reduce drought issues. And travel issues. (Like the normal food plants, but more Odr efficient)
That and other Multi-harvest food plants could also give a little kick to Hallas cooking, giving her exotic (to the norse) ingredients to change things up.

Plants that smell good when burned could let us make ashes Halla rubs on herself as a sort of cleaning, which would satisfy her ash cover desire from cindersoot owl fylgja without looking dirty (which would give social maluses).

Seeress stuff could probably use plants, but we don't really have an idea what is used there. Would probably have to stay abstract.

We would have to think about uses for plants in general.

IF explicitly confirmed before opening the vote:

Is this "He'll pay for 3 Units of stuff" or "He'll pay for 3 piles of stuff (like he'll cover 15 Glass for 1 token, 12 pottery for 1 token, and 35 seeds for 1 token etc)"
The latter
