Yeah though, should be a fun road trip for the Gang! We might even get to go on an adventure or two while we're up there!
 
Could we try teaching Shadeclaw how to use Reinforce-Shield, and also try to teach Sagaseeker how to use Long-Lunge?

Trying to teach Sagaseeker Tricks (including that one) is in the plan. Trying to teach both Shadeclaw and Abjorn Reinforce Shield is in next turn's (I thought her learning Aspects first was good, since we know that works).

Has Drifa finished the combat curriculum enough that we can start teaching her the actually fun tricks?

Yeah, we should also probably give some reminders to Drifa about Code of Conduct and all that. Being a spitfire is all well and good, and being strong is something we recommend everyone to be, but you need to have good behavior while you're at it, everyone likes a Dreng after all.

We did have a talk with her pretty recently about her propensity for crotch shots, but we could expand on that to be a bit more general. We'd want to combine that with actual combat instruction, though...

I wonder if it tastes horrible because predator-meat, or it tastes wonderful because its full of power?

Wolf meat apparently actually tastes okay. So probably pretty decent.

Continue the basic combat curriculum just means continue training previous stuff/nothing noteworthy to write about for Drifa.
Just need to find something to teach her and then argue to not waste the dice on unspecifics when we have better ideas.

I'd argue for the nascent projectile guiding trick, but we should actually finish it before that.
(Which would probably involve a few more Experiments and then a "[]develop a trick that {description}, based on {the old experiment votes as subvote as a reminder what we learned previously}", that will be some more creativity and then a battle for the research dice, probably forking and existing plan. But not now.)
 
Alright, added some specific Tricks for Drifa (Leaping Cleave, Heated Shroud, Sway, and Shatter-Wrist) and a talk about when to fight and when not to and Dreng stuff.
 
I wonder how our Felag likes us besides Skoll the hasty. Also do we want to get better relations with Vagn?

This Winter. I have it tentatively penciled in to talk with the Dwarves next turn to secure supplies for our gifts for our retainers, then visit the Hading the turn after that, then actually make the gifts the turn after that, which we'd hand out at Yule. Plus other actions, of course. That might get fiddled with a little, but I still expect we'll do it at some point during the Winter.

I'm surprised Abjorn and Steinarr are so cool with holding Halla down frothing at the mouth trying to kill them for a minute every couple months.

It's mostly Abjorn at this point, I think. And he'd put up with a lot more than that for Halla. Also, I get the impression we only actually flipped out the first time...we're just being careful the rest of the time.

At some point, yes, but I'm actually not even sure how we do that precisely, beyond that we need a horse. Well, we also need to feed them...we might want to wait until we know for sure we have enough food?

@Imperial Fister do we know how to attract a nisse? Would that be an action, a Research die, or what?

We have the runes on the Alarm Charm (they're on our sheet in the Runes section), we just need to figure out what they mean OOC. For the necklace, and a lot of other items, we tried looking at them and didn't get anything. We can try Identify Concept on two or three at a time, but other than that we need specific experiments for the teeth and a lot of other stuff.

And what should we do with the Fenrirkin pelt? I think we should add it to our armor when we reforge it.

We need to at some point. I see no reason to put it off. Also, there's some chance we need to get real low on Odr so we don't break through immediately next turn if the Underhouse increases Odr gain, which is something to keep in mind.

Like, if it triples our Odr gain, we need to be at 11 or less or we break through to the Second Realm immediately, and we don't want to do that until our house and fields are squared away and we've given birth. With the Underhouse cleared we'll know what we need to do in that regard going forward. That's a bigger gain than I expect, but I'd like to hedge our bets.

We already played around with it...the teeth seem like their power will be revealed when we break them. We could break one and see but I'm hopeful we can figure out a bit more first.

Have we settled on whether we are doing Trade/Raid or Trade/Explore (What's there to even explore lol this is the known world, it's not Iceland or the Azores or something)?
