I think we should keep the owl watching them until they go into the sanctum and see what they say, but we need to get out and get out now and definitely not have it try and follow them in.

There were a wealth of reasons not to wander into the woods to the Witch's place of power once she knew to prepare for Blackhand. Like, that's just asking for her to try and curse or control us. If the expectation was we proactively paid her back, we might've gone anyway, but as it wasn't we didn't.
We don't even know she sold it. It might've been her actively behind the attack. But we know it wasn't the Enemy, and Horra has Troll connections, so I'd say he's the most likely suspect.
I bet they're being made back at his actual farm. They aren't illegal in and of themselves, after all...unlike the draugr.

We might actually want to stick around, because that's the expression of a man who thinks he's about to win.
Especially when this is coupled with a dude who we know is a badass, but looks like he's been wrung over a barrel anyway. If he's about to turn Wolfwind into a fleshcrafted abomination. He won't need to do all this cloak and dagger, he can just Straight Up Win through main force. Which explains why his guard is so down.

He's not hurrying, Wolfwind is there looking wiped out (When we know he's apparently a near-Steinarr level badass), and Horra isn't bothering to hide his steps. He thinks he's about to win, enough that he's not taking great steps to hide his approach, which suggests he doesn't think he needs to keep it hidden for much longer.

Depends if they can be proven to have known. Horra and Hasvir are going down, but the rest could maybe claim ignorance.
Not necessarily. He's happy and not taking his usual precautions because he's excited...he's just had something really good happen, from his perspective. Whether that's 'about to win' is a different matter. But knowing what it is might actually be vital.
Ugh. Maybe we should stay and hide. That's risky as hell, though...

Well, I'm frankly not confident enough on us being able to escape the sight of Hasvir, Horra and Wolfwind. His daughter was able to locate us, so I'm just going to assume Horra can do the same, and probably Hasvir. Not to mention Wolfwind.

If we'd have to face Horra and Hasvir without help (i.e. Wolfwind is unable to fight back) that could quickly lead to 'we reincarnate, Wolfwind gets monstered, by the time Steinarr realizes Halla is dead ang goes to go Thermonuclear on Horra there is Wolfwindmonster and Hasvir to counter him'.
Like, they'd be neat to deal with trolls.

I wouldn't count Wolfwind out entirely, if he's just been enthralled somehow, we might be able to free him, and then we have a very powerful ally on hand.

It would certainly explain how a guy looks visibly uninjured but incredibly exhausted apparently when he's a danger in the same dimension as Steinarr.

Ultimately, we don't have the tools to reasonably intervene, and listening in alone is too great a risk, here in the center of Horra's power.
We've got enough data now that we can positively nail this fucker to the wall. Eyewitness Testimony may not be damning, but it's enough to get Big Bois coming in to investigate more closely.
