Seeing that apparently, our mom is the main reason why Aemma is still alive, and seeing how generous Viserys has been with his reward... I suppose that Viserys, Aemma, and Raenyra love our mom almost like family (which she secretly is), don´t they?
How is the Grand Maester feeling now that "mere midwife" is much better than him at delivering children?
What was the deal with Aemma´s poor child? IIRC our mom took the curse of the Dornish princess, and Vaegon curse was meant for the Martells, not for his own family...

Actually, they were betting on the dragon races that Laenor, Laena and Rhaeyns are now doing every now and then. They're making a killing while their dragons are still growing and they can participate in them themselves.
It started off with one gold dragon they got for their birthday. And they won the odds and trippled their money in one bet.
They might have gambling problems, but they haven't lost... once
Correct. though it is mostly because mom is deciding to fire anyone and everyone involbed with the botched birth, and even wants Melios to have his chain stripped due to his incompetence. This has lead to Maester Orgyle, Melios' Assistant and the more medical minded of the men, to take over as Viserys Primary caregiver.
This has done wonders to Viserys personal health, as he is no longer losing so much blood to leeches.
(This will be important for later)
The Grand Maester got utterly schooled in such a way, that Viserys does not trust him in medical matters, due to his...failures.
THat is simple.
Vaegon's help... for us, against Dorne, had some consequences he did not forsee.

Well, this is going to be awesome for Viserys, the combination of not losing his beloved wife, and getting a good physician to attend to his wounds will make him basically unrecognizable (at least seeing how badly time is treating Viserys on the show)...
But our mom got one of the most annoying kinds of enemies in court... A petty asshole with power that cannot see how competent people got what they righfully deserved because it proves his incompetence.
So his nephew had bad luck and just happened to be in the Splash zone.
Poor kid.
Besides that @Magoose , we got a really gloomy update from Rhaenyra in the rumor mill, despite her rolling a pretty great result... What would have happened if she rolled badly? Serious and permanent trauma?
