[X] Favour to the Empress
[X] Politics and Personal - In addition to the favor to Mira, you're concerned that, depending on how things play out, the problem could spill over to the Empress and/or Roswita.

Both of these allow explanation for why we are bringing Heidi in.

Oh, our first subtle Chaos-encounter!

It's kinda funny that we, as a Grey Wizard, literally duelled Khornate Champions before ever matching wits with a cult or other hidden actor in a civilised setting.

A few pages behind, so sorry if answered already
I think this is jumping the gun a bit, Step 1 would be a foundational test that would establish what enchantment plus rune might even look like, while Step 0 would be finding a Runesmith that would be willing to go maximum kickflip like this in the first place.
Would Vlag's runepokers be good enough for step 1?
…You know, I am painfully reminded of the fact that SV questers, a breed usually famed for their sheer desire for honesty and loyalty, somehow managed to choose the most deceptive and sneaky character design ever. And then somehow managed to play both of those sides to the hilt for years on end.

And Mathilde isn't even the only one! I've seen several of these!
And that, my friend, is how you achieve MAXIMUM ULGU.

Multiplied Loyalties: An Advisor Quest

Be as loyal as one can absolutely be, by cultivating as many different loyalties and maintaining them while avoiding conflicts as much as is possible.

I could see it as a game where you got more 'Loyalty Points' with every organization successfully held loyalty to, with the caveat that more organizations being loyal to equals of course increasingly harder to manage/juggle loyalties.

[X] Other (It started as a favour to Mira - she asked me to find out what Alric was up to, in exchange for aid with the Waystone project - but now I've found out it feels like unfinished business from Stirland, and I owe it to my old friends to make sure the business is finished properly and the case closed.)
[X] Other (If it is that Haupt-Anderson who's behind it, it could result in someone trying to take vengeance on his last living relative. I want to make sure that doesn't happen.)

In other quests? If yes, which ones? I'm interested 😁
Here's a couple links I put up earlier:
Greek ninja slave: Iliad Quest

Best Pony mom and Cult Loremaster: Esquestria

Technically the first one is SB, not SV, but there's a fair amount of overlap and those two are the first ones that come to mind. It's been a while since I've actually watched too many other quests to remember off the top of my head.

[X] Favour to Mira

I'd be tempted to say "favor to Mira and now concern about something else," but I suspect Regimand can logic chain his way to realizing that we're concerned about the empress given the context and we do not want him looking around about that. Frankly it's way more attention grabbing to imply we're concerned about that stuff rather than just doing a favor. I don't think we want Regimand poking at that mess.

Considering that we are the godmother to the Empress's son, based off her wishes I don't think we need to be concerned about revealing to Regimand that we are concerned about the empress, since he probably already knows and a Haupt-Anderson would understandably be concerned about this situation.

What other quests have had this most interesting combination of traits?
