[x] Panoramia, to properly finishing catching up with her.
[x] Belegar, to discuss who will be Loremaster after you.

[x] Eike, as she begins her tutelage at the Grey College.

There is a decent portion of the thread that would absolutely do something like this on purpose (including me), so I'm not surprised that someone would call their spell that. It's not unrealistic either, scientists/academia has an amazing interesting naming sense on occasion.
Boatly Mc Boatface and sonic hedgehog (The protein made by SHH gene) and Scaptia beyonceae are some that come to mind.

I have a question. I know we're losing the Max/Johann half actions and getting WEB-MAT and KAU half actions (or something like it if it's a new system), but what happens to our Duckling actions?

Pretty sure we lose them, as we're no longer responsible (officially, at least) for wrangling the local magic-using population.

I think the August Order of the Duckling is being disbanded? Mathilde, Max and Johan no longer work for Belegar, Adela and Gretel work for other organisations, and Pan works for the Halflings. Only Hubert directly works for Belegar (although the Halflings are subjects of Belegar, so Pan's technically under his command). Sure, all those wizards live here and are friends, but they are all doing their own thing now and don't need to be wrangled into an umbrella organisation.

If Hubert becomes a magister I could see Belegar asking him to set up something similar to the Order, and possibly extend his envoy duties to the Collage? But that might not be necessary anymore, and at Journeyman level he lacks the political weight and influence for that sort of job.

[x] Roswita, to get a sense for who will control Sylvania after you turned down the position.
[x] Eike, as she begins her tutelage at the Grey College.
[x] Karak Vlag, to see if they've been talked out from behind their fortifications yet.

Panoramia because, in my eyes, this is mandatory.

Roswita, as I still would have preferred that path and want to know who will do the job in our stead.

Eike, because if we are to be her patron we aught to be there.

And finally Vlag, simply because I think it would be fun to see how it plays out.

I regret having to drop Belegar, but I didn´t want to vote for more options than could win.

Well, in the Quest canon many Colleges are atrocious with naming things
My head canon is that the names in Eltharin and Praestentia are clearly distinct - but the translation to Reikspeil is the same. As mages who need to distinguish use the Praestentia names there's no real push to replace the translation with unique names.

My reasoning is that, while I definitely want to see Vlag, I don't expect it to change much in the next ~3 turns. Talking to Belegar about who he's going to hire is a conversation that either happens now or never.

I'm personally in favor of just shrugging and writing the book on the mushrooms unless Mathilde or Panoramia come up with a cool cheat for the issue. The update says this:
Panoramia broaches the possibility of breeding more Shyish- and Chamon-resistant mushrooms, but that's a long-term project with no guarantee of success - mycology is a field that has received much less human study than botany, both in the Old World in general and by the Jade Order specifically.
I would rather let the boffins back in Altdorf try doing that while Mathilde and Panoramia spend their time doing more useful things. Completionism is something whose appeal I understand very well, but in this particular case I look at "two specific varieties of mushrooms as a long-term project" -- when we have working techniques for six out of eight! -- and go "wow, there are so many other magical research projects I think Mathilde should spend her time on instead." Let's just write the book on it, Panoramia can get lots of College Favour from people requesting samples to grow, and maybe at some point in the future we'll get a news update of a follow-up paper by someone who figured out Shyish or Chamon.

I'm mostly on this train, the only reason I would hold off is that the Collage doenst have any ideas yet for Jade/* research, and this sort of fits.

I'm really worried that outside of Mathy's enchanting there really isn't really enough ideas behind mix-wind/divine magic to make a whole branch collage.

Figure most of the magisters who end up there will be researchers who don't want to bother with the politics in the empire or who want to cooperate with people from other colleges. The ones who actually cooperate with priests will probably be in the minority, but the charter leaves it open in case we have to do a project with a runesmith.

I just feel that this is very much assuming that 'if we make the college, they will come... all the way to the literal'end of the world'.
