We tested it in K8P, before we left.
Yeah, but that was small scale test conditions. This would be in the field of the Chaos Wastes with the massive convoy along with a miniscule chance of enemy interferrence.

That then was basically a lab test, and now, since we aren't being forced by anything other than time, is field testing.

Money! Bank of Borek Gemstone-tier Credit cards have an excellent Ranald-Points rebate scheme on the first months' Dark Web purchases.
In theory, the same as a crown. In practice, very slightly less to most moneychangers. About 1280 crowns, or 1000 Dwarven gc.
- The Kislevite ducat is worth about 95% of an Imperial crown.
Is it worth adding this amount to the postscript? I wasn't sure how much we got.
"The blockade is a political matter at this time, which I prefer not to get involved with," she said, answering exactly none of the questions that were asked.
"...prefer not to get into."? :) I mean, we created the root opportunity, and I'm sure Mathilde would leave the extent or otherwise of her ongoing involvement in The Marienburg Affair in doubt.
A tiara for his new wife.
I'm sure Heidi was very grateful.
Almost as sure as I am that Luitpold hasn't seen it (or probably most of the small, valuable wedding gifts for that matter) in a long time. ;)

...13-13-13 gets you in, because the way to change the code had been lost with Qrech's predecessor when he was entombed alive in this very safe.

My headcanon is that this stretches all the way back to whoever Skaven first had it installed and never got the chance to change the default code before being usurped by their subordinate, thus is has remained as it is for untold successions.

Maybe there is no way to change the code, and attempting to do so triggers a fatal 'safety' system? A last 'fuck you' to any ambitious subordinates?

As cool as that sounds, remember we have Winds Denied? Weber is going to be lugging around a fat -35 penalty whenever we wander in her general direction. Personally I don't see that as a bad thing because tbh I'm sus she's some flavour of cultist, probably the Just As Planned type (Weber? spinning webs? plotting? hmm), but if you like her you might wanna keep it in mind.

Always love negaverse omakes, and imagine this when they meet the We and see the doom tower. Would be amazing.

I too often think that Rhunrikki and DL would make a hella cool crossover.

To be fair to Kragg, the sword is actually really good. His Master Rune is a fireless MConduction from Rhunrikki Strollaz, which is damn good, the magic item turnoff is a variant from Thorek's rune but manages to be as effective as a Master Rune without needing to be one, which is damn smart, and Unknown is just plain exotic.

@edit: Mind, Snorri could absolutely whip up a straight up killier weapon. But I struggle to see a more wizardly one.

Gotrek apparently takes this as an unvoiced question. "My wife is Clanless. My Clan wouldn't allow her to join it in marriage, so I left it."

You consider the offer that Gotri said he's willing to extend. "Do you regret it?"

He shakes his head firmly. "I regret that they made it necessary. Never my response."
I can kinda see the timeline for this is my head.

  1. Gotrek is a damn good engineer.
  2. He falls in love with a Clanless woman who may also have some other circumstances that makes the relationship even more scandalous.
  3. His Clan doesn't want to have their rising star married to someone they see as unworthy so they refuse to let her into the Clan thinking this will make him call off the marriage.
  4. Instead he chooses to become Clanless for the sake of his wife and leaves the Clan scrambling.
  5. In an attempt to salvage the situation the Clan doesn't completely cut ties with him and leaves open the possibility of working with him in the future so they don't completely lose out on such a good engineer.
  6. This compromise eventually leads him to head the steam-wagon project and gives rise to the Gotrek of today.

The four with the most votes will be chosen.

Guys i have a shocking and upsetting idea. I think Magister Horstmann might be a traitor.

Absurd. I trust Horstmann more than I trust Mathilde. :V

By Golden Age standards? I expect Snorri would call Kragg's Master Rune a shoddy and half-formed knockoff, the Rune of Superior Skill a shockingly incompetent and unreliable piece of work, and call the Rune of the Unknown an interesting idea that utterly failed to be developed to even a modicum of its potential.
