I don't see how visiting Qrech's old home provides anything other than saying we did so and satisfying our excessive curiosity just because there's a chance to do so that won't be available later. It's also both a completely unnecessary risk and doesn't provide anything to anyone else, on the expedition or off (other than maybe bringing Qrech a little doodad from the souvenir shop).
While I am voting for it because I am a shameless Qrech fanboy, there is an argument to be made that ignoring the local Skaven population entirely and assuming that they won't be a problem is not a good idea.

We don't know what Moulder is up to (or if they are even still there), and if they are planning something like, say, mounting a giant expedition to claim the semi-abandoned Karak Dum, I would rather know it than not.

Plus, the Lord of Change went in their general direction and if those two factions meet it can result in nothing that isn't both great and terrible.

Uzkulak has beings travelling across oceans and continents to trade there because the Chaos Dwarves have thousands of years of never compromising on keeping the trade flowing and enforcing the policy that all enmities end at the gates. No matter how much loot they could get from nabbing Mathilde, they'd lose more from trade deciding to go elsewhere. They'd absolutely kill or capture her in a heartbeat if they found her anywhere else, but not inside Uzkulak.

Wow, Chaos Dwarfs can put aside grudges to do bussiness? Truly, the anti-dwarfs.

Ethical? Probably not; she's Grey Order, they're kinda trained to murder people they've never met just because their boss told them to, and she's participated in at least one interrogation that ended in a political assassination. I imagine their training accounts for "these people need our help"/"but we need to not give it".
Religious, though? I imagine Ranald would support a judicious amount of slave emancipation and revolt. Sounds more like something he'd reward action for than punish for inaction though.

Eh, Grey Magisters are designed to work on utilitarianism, not raw unethicalness. Mathilde politically assasinated a dude that was dangerous for the empire and she knew was dangerous for the Empire, not some rando on orders, even if she didn't know him.

The daemons don't get to choose what path corruption takes and Slaanesh is about excess, making you more of what you already are. An painter who serves Slaanesh for instance, will still be a painter... only now he might be painting with the blood of his victims.

It could also make a perfectionist boxer start to paint with the blood of his victims. holy shit, that reference is so incredibly obscure and by a relatively unknown series I may not have recognised it if I saw it on the wild.

That might be a reason not to murder the only people he feels some kinship and loyalty to (Clan Moulder).
They don't deserve his loyalty! Qrech deserves kinship from people who actually appreciate him! People who support him and his dreams, who wouldn't sacrifice him for a two second advantage and leave his soul in the grasp of arguably the least friendly God in the Warhammer universe!

... If Moulder disappeared, Mathilde will be all he has left...

I'm all for showing up to Uzkulak, but be aware that I will be voting for anything that seems like it will lead to us creating a chain of events that destroys it.

That's about as good a result from this as we could honestly have expected, I think. Fare thee well, Slayers, your deaths were not for nothing.

I'm worried about leaving the expedition while they're in dangerous territory, with a high demon unaccounted for , but the trip to Uzkulak seems too good to pass up. It sounds like people go there from all over the world just to shop , like evil Paris.

Just say No to sidequests.

Absolutely 100% interested in visiting the Uzkulak, witness and see what they are and know what needs to be thrown down in the future, I'd also like to buy or steal a bunch of books from them, whether on magic or otherwise. Also want to visit the Combes. Might be an opportunity to steal another bag load of skaven books.

Knowledge is power and we have opportunities to potentially get more information about our enemies.
Especially no causing trouble when the expedition is on its way into the Chaos Wastes. Maybe when we have completed the expedition and are on our way back.
