[X] Scour the river banks for anything the bandits left behind

Mathilde's pretty obviously pushing the limits of what she can safely do with spellcasting (or at least, repeatedly casting SOS), and to quote her herself:
Because if you keep casting when you shouldn't be casting, it won't just be you that suffers, it will be everyone around you.

Also, that must have been an incredible moment for the trapped dwarves. They're stuck in a lightless hold, cold water sapping their strength, knowing that before too long it'll become impossible to breath, and that there's almost no chance of rescue reaching them in time. The hours pass, one by one they resign themselves to death... and then they hear a knocking on the door. They hammer back, hope stirring, and then there's a clang, and a voice speaks from inside the room:
"I am Loremaster Weber of Karak Eight Peaks. I am here to rescue you."

That's the sort of thing that makes it into ballads and stories.

Hm. We can't magesight a bit of Aqshy through all that Chamon. But, maybe, either Johann or Adele can?

Johann could, the ship might as well be in HD for him, I don't think Adele had spent any notable effort perfecting her magesight.

He's not here right now though, but might be in on the next couple copter rotations. A Magister is a lot of kill in a very portable unit.

We probably want to ask for Johann to be flown in as soon as possible to help with the investigation anyway. Trial and Error should help him point out if anything is being missed, and that's ignoring Breach the Unknown and Tale of Metal.
