if your plan has AV, you have a vote.
My two plans have AV; one in the form of Powerstone lessons, and the other plan has that replaced with bringing the AV to one of the Runelords that might be interested. ;):

[] Plan Dictionaries now, powerstones for AV stuff and jazz
[] Plan Dictionaries now, Runelord checks out AV stuff and jazz

Also, I've added in X's to the boxes where my vote is made in the post that has them btw because I got distracted by shiny things.

Also, If one of my votes win, my next post after BoneyM closes the vote will have spoilered cute animal pics for all to enjoy.
If neither of them win... well. I'll post cute animal pics regardless! Muh ha ha ha!

Heeeeyyyyyyyyyyyy!
The romantic view of treasure is a chest haphazardly heaped with golden coins to the point of overflowing, but only the greenskins are so cavalier with storing their wealth, and everyone sensible keeps theirs neatly stacked and counted.
Epic self-own, Matty. :V
The final matter is your discretionary funds, and that's a matter of taking the coffer dedicated to it and pouring it into the coffer of your personal funds. That's that, then.

But seriously, that's a lot of treasure. 💰

On a separate note. I do wonder if they had actual Gromril, and dare I hope, Glimril ingots in that vault?

Gromril in the treasure of foreigners? Seems unlikely. The vaults storing the Karak wealth would've been more likely, but that didn't happen.

Probably not , cause the dwarf vaults were rather low rolls and the explanation probably is that most useful stuff was used during the siege.

And yeah the best roll was for the bank for humans mainly wich shouldnt use gromril so there shouldnt be any . Altough there might be other interesting stuff stored there tough outside just wealth maybe since the roll was decent enough.

any chance of putting a translation at the bottom of a chapter with a new word?

as someone with dyslexia, it can get a litte hard to figure out at times when a new word turns up and is used as if it was there the whole time.

its the one think that really is annoying about this quest.

I do my best to make it clear from context what a word is referring to, but I'll try to get around to adding a lexicon to the threadmarks.

Ah, I meant the Bank vault.

It wouldn't have surprised me much. I could easily see them selling some off and the "closing" of the bank ensuring that no one could ever collect.

holy backlog batman. I get away from the thread to sleep, then have to fullfill some obligations, and this flood of comments happens?

Ok, well then, before deciding to vote... I'll be answering to every comment I wanted to answer to since I left, no matter how old.

Officially just College Taxes, unofficially if you're a Lord Magister then you're trusted enough to flaunt some of the rules an amount because you're trusted to not be an idiot or an asshole about it.

There is also the realpolitik of the situation. Do you really want to expent resources to go after a lord Magister, unless you really want to? A black journeyman is a formality, a black Magister is a moderately dangerous hunt, a lack lord magister is a small war. No one wants a small war.

It's just now occurred to me that we should be careful to make sure no one mentions grey wizards having a vow of poverty to the dwarves.

Eh, if both the oath taker and the one the oath was given to do not care, even the dwarves won't care. Besides, we haven't really broken it, according to exact words.

It's hard to get on the wrong side of a grudge. So long as you put in at least a good faith effort to make amends before it is actually declared then it won't.

The other side of the coin is that dwarves can record grudges for stuff so petty people who aren't used to dealing with them won't even care or notice until that keg explodes

If 'good enough' is in your vocabulary on the matter, then it does make sense to split it. If you want to make whatever you're making the best it can possibly be, then don't.

Considering my usual strategies, guess I'll be voting for good enough then.

1. Gold

2. Money

3. War Machines (Small)

4. War Machine (Large)

5. B O O K

6.

You assume the actual result wasn't also hilarious to Ranald :p

Mathilde's reaction when she finds out the truth about Ranald's Greatest Trick™ is going to be absolutely hilarious.

Ranald's greatest trick is soft canon. It is what some sects believe, not necessarily what really happened. Although it could also be what really happened.

Crows are sacred to Ranald? I didn't know that.

Crows are like Ranald. They like shinies, they are social, they attack people who bully them as a group, they seem ominous and evil while actually being some of the most lovable and unquestionably good aligned animals... What's not to Ranald?

the second got add. the first one doesn't count.

I an't getting tricked!

Ok, while I agree basically with everything from @LightLan plan I have to say that I find the gambit options a little lacking. So I am adding mine which is exactly the same but with different gambits (plus we can do one gambit with each Qrech actions so better to do it...)

[X] Plan: Spoken Queekish with better gambits
-[X] Contains one Overwork action
-[X][MAX] See if you can find more Queekish within those books: All Under-Karagril Clan Moulder books not bound in leather or written on vellum or parchment. Awaiting translation.
-[X][JOHANN] Study an artefact: Unknown black gem, stolen from the Skaven.
-[X][DUCK] Johann's investigation into the ratling gun has hit a wall. See if you can help
-[X][EIC] Put policies in place that local news should be collected and sent to you (rumour mill).
-[X] Seek to build a stronger rapport with Qrech, and provide enough sources of mental stimulation that you can turn your attention elsewhere.
--[X] Convince Qrech that the Under-Empire has no way of knowing he's even alive, and that he should prioritize the comfort with which he will live the rest of his life.
-[X] Try to convince him outright to teach you spoken Queekish.
--[X] Deceiver: "My efforts in destroying Mors should have won me a great position and much prestige, unfortunately due to bypassing them the people who should be teaching me to speak the language (a prerequisite for the position I deserve.) are stonewalling me. They can't afford to do so forever but every day the luster of my victory fades. If I could go over their heads and speak it on my own though..."
-[X] Travel to the Grey College and attend lessons there: Waystones and Waystone maintenance
-[X][AV] Investigate the exact circumstances required to induce a transformation.
-[X] Wolf is fully grown and a Very Good Boy. Train him. (increases his intelligence, he may learn to speak Praestantia)
-[X][PENTHOUSE] Have a gyrocopter landing pad built into your balcony.
-[X][SERENITY] Translated Eshin correspondence on the Skaven Civil War (TIMELESS)
-[X][COIN] The Deceiver: Skaven Gambit

And as approval voting
[X] Spoken Queekish v4
[X] Plan: Save the History! also AV and Job I guess... V2
[X] Plan: Spoken Queekish and AV preliminary research done. V3

[X] Plan: Spoken Queekish v4

My favorite "hold off for now" and my favorite "Spoken Queekish now" plans.
Isn't there the "The Skaven have no way to know you are here so you should prioritize your own comfort" gambit?
It wasn't meant to be that; I was thinking about telling Qrech mostly-the-truth so that he could be satisfied that we'd kicked Mors's ass like we said we were gonna.

Ok, vote time.

Vote reasoning: I will be voting for spoken Queekish first and foremost. I want to do this properly, like a Dwarf. If spoken wins by a landslide, I'll pick from among the options.

...At least I'd want to, but I really like the leading plan, plus it qualifies for my prereqs. I also would like the save the coins plan, but we are in no hurry plus I do not want to remove any action from this beauty.

it is fine, you voted AV, even if it was or was not your intention, so you are clear of sin.

[] Plan: Spoken Queekish v4

Isn't this entitled to a second gambit, on Qrechs source of mental stimulation?
It is and this was discussed; @LightLan doesn't feel comfortable modifying the plan now that people have voted for it (though I think that this would be a totally reasonable thing to do; remember, the reason why we cut communications during the battle of the Caldera was because I modified a winning plan late in the game to include an idea that had come up that was very good), but encouraged people to make other plans.
