If I were shelling out for magic bullets, I'd want Boiling Blood Bullets. Decent extra damage until the target explodes, hopefully wounding their mates.

Proved the medical corps wrong by signing up to come fight in someone else's war! Oswald Oswaldson! Is owned by Karag Nar's #1 cat, busted down from Sergeant for being a LOOSE CANNON WHO GETS RESULTS! Oswald Oswaldson! Probably flirted with Mathilde once or twice but she didn't realize it! Oswald Oswaldson! One of the only people we know who would pull the stunt where we shot ourself in the hand to intimidate a prisoner -- hell, he'd do it without a Seed of Regrowth!

I figured that was the case, so we're going to need a proper Mathilde raid action and a queekish action to get more translation work out of him.

The trouble is the person he's trying to overtake is Prince Kazrik, our fellow Councillor and a pretty cool dude that I would like to become friends with.

you know I wonder if the Grey College is going to try to train more magisters to be like Mathilde. From what has been said most are like spy's where she is closer to special forces in that she uses her ability to find out where force can be applied for the best results and then applies it.

I like Kazrik too, but at least we get to interact with him onscreen every now and then. We see him every council meeting. We've seen him with his dad, we've gossiped with Edda about him, we see some of his character sheet. We have some idea of his deal.

I don't know Oswald's deal beyond just a bunch of descriptive sentences that reveal a pretty interesting life, and I'd like to, so we can figure out if he's just a meme we can safely ignore or someone we should try to hang out with.

(Personally I'd like them both to crowd out the results of the skaven raids, but that one has a pretty strong lead, so I'll take what I can get.)

The council scenes are so short as to be irrelevant to that honestly. I want a direct actual scene with Kazrik and Mathilde. More importantly building a proper relationship between the two has a much bigger narrative impact on what we can do going forward.

Still more than we've gotten for a lot of other people.

Like I said, I'd prefer for them both to win and for "Investigate the aftermath of the Empire's campaigns against the Skaven in Nuln and Ubersreik" to lose, but if it's one or the other, I prioritize "gathering data about people who are almost complete mysteries" over "growing closer with someone we already see every six months."

She is the model every new Court Wizard has to emulate:
1) Capable of withstanding a full Waagh-Charge as Bullwark in the middle of the line.
2) Capable of making Shamans explode and entire Waaaghs to lose their empowering
3) on the regular assassinates enemy leadership
4) the near perfect scout (if only she had time to be everywhere)
5) weaponizes mountains
6) walks into a College of Necromancy with ~60 students. Only Mathilde walks out again. With a Necrarch head in hand.

All True Mathilde Facts.

I pity our eventual successor.
 
While I am looking forward to the socials as I always do, I am perhaps even more excited for the MaximumSmug!Mathilde and the unveiling of the "Three Towers".

Sadly, this thread has infected me.

I want Kazador to get to do it, it's Karak Azul steel that made the Sword of Gazul possible, so he should get the honor
