Unknown. That's the problem with grabbing territory early, you don't have all the facts - but if you wait, some will be snapped up. That said, ancient humans were able to build tributaries to the Network with standing stones and menhirs, so it's not inconceivable Mathilde could do the same.

The first, because being a Spymistress is our gig, and we are looking into ways of doing things like "open a tavern to collect information" at every turn. This is just the first steps, so while I absolutely get the urge to scout the rest of K8P, that's also within our purview as Spymistress.

Remember, the dwarves flat out don't have a position of spymaster, so we are defining what it does.

But I think going to Karaz-a-Karak to see the grudges struck out will be a momentous occasion, where the entire Karaz Ankor will do it's closest approximation of watching live as they can. And we claim no small amount of credit for striking those grudges. We are most likely the most well-liked human alive.

Let's show up on the metaphorical photo.

Our Coin means our scouting should be highly concentrated, so we can just turn to that in a turn or two, after the coin recharges and we word has time to spread, and the next wave is in the works so we see what we are working with.

Then, wizard's tower, it's the leading option for a reason.

And then, Mayor of Karag Nar. Because we are going to be Spymistressing either way, and all these options combine beautifully: we are the Umgi-In-Charge of K8P, the Spymistress-slash-diplomat of K8P, and the Wizard of K8P.

And all of that culminates into us putting our wizard's tower on top of the Diplomatic Housing Mountain, which is also the site of our Godly Heist.

It's perfect. Each choice feeds into the next, synergizing beautifully.

As a side question, if we stay at K8P and take up an involved position, would we still have to spend full favor cost to learn Khazalid?
 
I don't think it has been pointed out, so here it goes: We've been getting casual language lessons from dwarfs for the last few updates. I think that's a lovely way they're showing us how much they trust us, especially since they don't treat it as a big deal. Which given that those stupid Sigmar losers make it all "Oooh, secret dwarf language, very holy", clearly shows how much better we are. And the effect of high rep. I think if we wanted a trainer for watch in underground fighting, we could probably just ask, and they'd be happy to help. Making a Skaven's day worse is always a good time.
Edit: Hah, Ninja'd. Mathilda'd? So, I don't think we have to pay anything, since they've been teaching it on their own accord.

It will take research and you don't know the nature of the boosts it would provide, but it's definitely possible.

Cool, well heres to hoping we spend long enough to do so, but for what it's worth it would seem that Magic users in general like practising magic around waystones



Granted this pretty explicitly points out dark magic users like it even more but I suppose that would be obvious given that they benefit more by having massive amounts of all the winds available.

@BoneyM How long would it take to go back and forth between K8P and the Empire, given our Shadowsteed? Would hanging around in K8P while still being able to do things in the Empire be possible, if likely expensive in terms of actions?
