Hmm, I figured that was the case. White is just a single stage then, that you linger for a while making your preparations to Ascend then?

It would explain a great deal of their interactions if a mature White is not necessarily stronger than a rookie.

Sfine, we have a backlog on Zhengui and an open slot on Hanyi as well as a backlog on ourselves before we have money lying around to worry about.

Honestly specialization probably matters to such an extent that a focused Prism is almost as much of a threat as a tertiary young White.

I think he's just talking about the breakthrough here. There's only a single breakthrough to great spirit, you don't do physical and spiritual separately there.

Yrsillar has, afterall, talked about peak white's before (in the context of the Sage Emperor).

You know, they probably don't do so very often given the Mu high level spirit stone monopoly, but every time a barbarian ascends it probabilbly leaves behind a Sublime Ancestor level partner, due to how their linked cultivation works.

They probably only very rarely get a cultivator strong enough to awaken those, and even more rarely ascend in the first place.

Given that even someone as significant to the Cloud Nomads as Ogodei was only Prism, I'd find it unlikely for the Cloud Nomads to produce even a White cultivator, let alone ascend. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if no Cloud Nomad has ever ascended, or even gotten close.

So people Rose maze is a Wood dominated space, which might let Zhengui play goal keeper for his Mom's Big Sis' heart!
