Fine then. What chapter BY NUMBER AND TITLE was Oathkeeper created?

Lets see just how well you can navigate...

Google search this thread with the phrase (including quote marks): "devotion for devotion".

I think that should do it.

Edit: wow, so, "stab in the dark method" I had here is shit. Use methods posted in previous pages. Am glad to have learned new thing :)

I now want to one-up DP's sentient Jellyfish swarm.

A swarm of tiny pixies with Barbarian class levels. Give 'em that Extra Rage...

Curse the Romans for all time for their number system!

DP uses the Valyrian numeral system in this thread though :V

Wait. When did the Oracle Minotaur happen? Was Rina their response to that?

Hmm... that does make sense and the Old Gods have been growing stronger

*rolls for it*

He got it.

Of Wonder and Insight
Thirteenth Day of the Second Month 293 AC

Yes, before Rina was recruited. I still think Rina was their response to the Tree of Lys though. We raise a beacon of life in a city, they drown another in death.

Speaking of the oracle, we still don't have that sacrifice spear, @Duesal.

A standard steel-tipped wooden Light Ballista bolt weighs 10 pounds and inflicts 3d6 damage. Considering that our Launchers would be firing Hardened solid steel darts, damage should be increased to at least 4d6 per shot, IMO. If both Launchers are fired simultaneously at a target, that would be a very respectable 8d6 damage inflicted on a successful hit, or shots could be staggered in order to give the pilot two attacks per round.
Darts don't have the mass and size of ballista bolts, however.

Thing is Lys was Viserys providing the juice. So it can't be unless we somehow count as part of the Gestalt now. After all, it's not like all the other times Viserys has sacrificed to grow trees resulted in the Others getting to mess around. Pretty sure Blood raven specifically says that us giving power is a loophole for the OG

Not only am I amazed that there are people who didn't bother clicking on a button for so long (if you click on the search function the options are clearly laid out), but I am also amazed that there are people who want to open a new thread before we hit 100 000 pages. How could we search for stuff if we had two threads?

Hmm. We do intend to study the crown later right? It can prove pretty useful and sounds like something Lya might enjoy.

If you really want martial classes, Mereth can now use some Pathfinder Martial Disciplines.
Maybe she could teach?
*you can hear the sound of something rolling in the distance*

@DragonParadox

This is a question for when you wake up but I was curious. It is about the First Men/ Old Gods lore Bloodraven copied for us. Was it just the Runelore or is there more that Lya has yet to see? I had assumed (maybe wrongly) that there would be some new classes unique to the Old Gods/First Men or something? Like Waymar's class?

You do get access to this Prestige class too yes. However it bears remembering that Runes are not an Old Gods thing, they are older.

Ooh~
Now that's a shiny if I ever saw one.

@Goldfish, about how much would it cost us to make a decent construct teacher whom we could load with runeolore and set on training guys at scholarum?
Or maybe there is a good Plant Creature for that?

That's not really practical. The knowledge can't just be uploaded into a blank Construct like a computer file.

If we were going to do something like that, Lya would be better off creating an Arcanum with the relevant knowledge and feats to make use of the Runelore she has learned.

Or are you suggesting that the mythical "decent high-level crit-fishing build" actually exists?

11-20 crit range at level 14. It is possible. Don't even ask how I did it, though. That sheet is long dead and I never had a backup.

We use the search bar to cheat. Just limit the search to this thread only, limit the search to the posters you're looking for, and keep a key word in mind for the specific post you want.

For example, I literally just typed Oathkeeper and specified that it was a post by DP in this thread. That brought up eight pages of results. I went to the last page, and it was the third or fourth result from the bottom.

Remember to use the word count function if you're looking for an update. Set the lower bound to 400 or something. Cuts extraneous results right down.

That's a cool crit range, but a crit is still doubling shitty damage.
Unless you can get a vorpal sword somehow, but those things are insanely expensive. And they don't work on everything.

He probably got the informational sheets on page one first, because they were technically "posted" first.

In regards to alternative martial classes, they make no sense in the Legion, as it is focused on uniform soldier builds that boost each other and fight as a unit.

For martial adepts, the Inquisition is the right niche.

Monkey grip, massive/strong build, enlarge person. Stack with power attack. End up dealing somewhere in the order of 4d8+23 without critting. Sure, it has limits. It's still hilarious when all your attacks land, crit, and your opponent eats 24d8+138.

Don't tell me you wouldn't like a Warlord as high officers.

Even the first level Golden Lion abilities make for a big boost to people in 30ft or adjacent allies.
And the Tactical Presence is sweet too.
