Yada yada standard demonic sacrifice protocoo. Turtle them and don't let them spill any hostage blood or bad shit will happen.
Standard demon sacrifice protocol? Man we are jaded and with us casting Merciful, Agonizing and Searing Firs Viserys needs metal theme music to play when he fights now. Because that sounds like something I would find in a metal album.

We don't need True Casting, the common cultists and Babau can't resist anyway.

@DragonParadox Are the sacrifices close enough together to get them in one Resilient Sphere?
And would there be space left in it for a Babau to teleport in and kill them?
And would such kill count for a sacrifice in a ritual since there is no line of effect from them to the water and their blood wouldn't go anywhere but stay in the sphere?

It's to get the elephant, which has been buffed, but an ASR would be faster and would also make turtling easier.

Sorry, @Duesal, you don't play around with something capable of breathing memory erasing halitosis at you.

[X] Plan Efficiency
-[X] Viserys casts Assay Spell Resistance and Blood Wishes a Banishment spell directed at the Maelephant, with any leftover Banishment HD used to affect as many Babau as possible.
--[X] If the Banishment is not successful, Viserys casts Celerity in order to target the Maelephant with Searing, Agonizing, Elemental Fire Darts.
--[X] If the Maelephant is successfully Banished, Viserys casts Celerity then uses Imperious Glare against any remaining cultists or Demons.
-[X] Richard charges the demons, activating his armor's Holy Aura. If it still lives and has not been Banished, he engages the Maelephant with Shock Trooper and Power Attack.

Merciful searing agonizing firebrand would be a great band name.

The merciful part always gets a chuckle out of me too.

Finding a way to secure the hostages may be... Wise.

I just know their going to be used for some bad magic shot if they croak.

eh, we've got our fill of sacrifices.
We might just get up to 700 HD if next turn's summoning and continuation of Sothoryos go well.

And here we need to make sure the city (and Zherys I suppose) is safe, nothing else.

Murderblender 'em, Fishie.

No worries, I agree. Loot is not worth this kind of risk.

That said, given that DP said the elephant demon is souped up I don't think the Banishment is going to get it. Can you specify that it's going to be the absolute first priority for concentrated Firebrands if it sticks around?

Hmm... @Goldfish, think back to when we conquered what was once Torturer's Deep from the Damphair. Remember the grand sacrifice he had set up, and how even us killing him would have had us accidentally complete the sacrifice.

I think it might be a bad idea to have the cultists killed here.

The Banishment will have more than enough HD, 32 with Viserys casting, and the save Will save DC to resist is going to be 27. With Will save bonus of +12, it needs to roll 16+ to resist. Possible, but the odds are in our favor.

Then the Firebrand, which will have a save Reflex DC of 26 vs it's Reflex save bonus of +6, could easily kill it even if Richard doesn't hit it once.

Of course, we don't know how much DP buffed it. I hope it wasn't too much, as the Maelephant is already stupid powerful for it's HD and CR.

My plan specifically attempts to avoid the sacrifices.

If we're lucky, the Banishment will get the Maelephant and at least three Babau.

Worse comes to worst?
We drop Bloodwishes on active ritual and save the day through copious application of reality-warping.

So what do I have to sacrifice go get an interlude where Daenerys intimidates the horde of mooks by going full on smol DRACONIC GLORY infront of the temple to the dragon-god?
