While we're unnoticed, can we quietly cast a few ASR if needed?
@DragonParadox can a quick action spell be cast as a standard action spell?
Yes, though arcane spell-surge comes with some limitations in that regard.

Standard demon sacrifice protocol? Man we are jaded and with us casting Merciful, Agonizing and Searing Firs Viserys needs metal theme music to play when he fights now. Because that sounds like something I would find in a metal album.Yada yada standard demonic sacrifice protocoo. Turtle them and don't let them spill any hostage blood or bad shit will happen.
We don't need True Casting, the common cultists and Babau can't resist anyway.
@DragonParadox Are the sacrifices close enough together to get them in one Resilient Sphere?
And would there be space left in it for a Babau to teleport in and kill them?
And would such kill count for a sacrifice in a ritual since there is no line of effect from them to the water and their blood wouldn't go anywhere but stay in the sphere?
I would suggest if it did Banish him too. Better not leave the Babau or cultists a chance to complete the sacrifice.--[X] If the Maelephant is not successfully Banished, Viserys casts Celerity then uses Searing, Agonizing, Firebrand against everything in the sewer but the sacrifices.
Good point. Plan adjusted.I would suggest if it did Banish him too. Better not leave the Babau or cultists a chance to complete the sacrifice.

No worries, I agree. Loot is not worth this kind of risk.Sorry, @Duesal, you don't play around with something capable of breathing memory erasing halitosis at you.
Definitely not a priority in the face of a CR-appropriate challenge. I'm not even going to be campaigning for sacrifices right now.
The Banishment will have more than enough HD, 32 with Viserys casting, and the save Will save DC to resist is going to be 27. With Will save bonus of +12, it needs to roll 16+ to resist. Possible, but the odds are in our favor. No worries, I agree. Loot is not worth this kind of risk.
That said, given that DP said the elephant demon is souped up I don't think the Banishment is going to get it. Can you specify that it's going to be the absolute first priority for concentrated Firebrands if it sticks around?

I was also talking about them.I meant the two mortals who the cultists are going to sacrifice.
My plan specifically attempts to avoid the sacrifices.Hmm... @Goldfish, think back to when we conquered what was once Torturer's Deep from the Damphair. Remember the grand sacrifice he had set up, and how even us killing him would have had us accidentally complete the sacrifice.
I think it might be a bad idea to have the cultists killed here.
I know you're avoiding killing the sacrifices. My concern is that killing the cultists might accidentally complete the sacrifice. My plan specifically attempts to avoid the sacrifices.
If we're lucky, the Banishment will get the Maelephant and at least three Babau.

Nice. Banishment might get them all. Gonna update the plan a bit, just in case.
