Plan format, people. @Zaratustra , @azereath , @Guile should clean up their vote posts, possibly more I didn't see. </votenazi>
That is why we don't tell them about it.The new count wouldn't trust a wizard having the network. Her spy master wouldn't like it either.
Why?
Guys, we spent dwarf rep on the niter factory!
It's fucking ours.
And I seriously want to keep the rifle, not only it's a great great weapon, it's Van Hal's.
You can't just "lose" a Runefang, not when people know you had it at one point. You'd be scalped on principle even if it was true -- no, especially if it was true! Not if we have it "lost". It's not well known we have it right?
Does plan "Keep Severance Pay, Give everything else" actually keep the Runefang, or is that a formatting glitch?
Man I really want to keep the rifle. It's a memento of Abelheim, it probably looks hilarious being buillt for a man twice our size, and it's just plain cool. It's the only thing keeping me from voting for plan severance pay. @Alectai any chnace you'd consider changing that?
So what it is ours, there is no law against having either.Keeping the network, and gong factory seems like it would put Mathilde at odds with the next spymaster due to the Elector Countess not trusting magic users.
Wilhelmina is also going away in solidarity remenber ? why would she have that part of it ?You do remember we tied network budget to the Watch's budget? And the budget record is there, so the new spy master will know there is a network to dig up.
Article: -[*][Intel] Special Branch: Pull some financial trickery to get the information network classified as part of the Watch, so that their costs are covered by the Stirlandian treasury.
1) It's ours. We spent unique dwarf favor. She doesn't get to keep that.Like I said, the whole point of this plan is to give her absolutely nothing of any real value that she can use to fuck with us. The only things we keep are something she shouldn't know the existence of (If she did, given her attitude, she'd have shot us on sight just to be sure), and something that could be reasonably considered to be in our rights to take given the circumstances and the reputation we've established. The Runefang is her symbol of office, the rifle is an heirloom.
We did our part, and if we did it assuming that we'd have a case to make instead of being thrown out on our arse on principle? That doesn't mean we need to torch our reputation--especially as it'd be hard to hide keeping it for ourselves.
Pretty sure the Dwarfs would understand.
