@Questor
So Equestria is to the southwest of YakYakistan?

Have we gotten clarification on the rulers of Equestria (since the only reference in the update mentions that it is unclear if there is more than 1 ruler)

Finally, is there a full picture of the map anywhere? I'm having trouble remembering where the various countries are in relation to our empire. (IE I don't remember what is south of YakYakistan)

Aw fuck the Storm King?
Storm King wouldn't exist yet, this is less than half a century after Discord was defeated. I think the Yetis are probably sort of like the Mongols, in that they are not a threat beyond being raiders until/unless a Genghis Khan equivalent unites them.

In short, the Yetis are not a major threat, and we should have some warning before they can become a major threat, assuming we get some spies in there. Also we could probably fight them fairly well, since their main advantage would be lots of anti-magic armor, but we don't rely on magic to fight.

So, since we have an earth pony leader, the equestrian racism is clearly better than the pre sisters time period, and considering snow drop said rulers plural, it seems like the sisters are at the helm

Even worse, the Captain states that the mine he sabotaged had clearly been in operation for some time...and the lack of an ore stockpile, and the existence of a primitive road leading away from the complex and deeper into the interior of the territory, implied that the ore was being moved elsewhere.

You're not certain what this means...but you know it isn't good.
This is very worrying, they know where equestria is, and there is an impression of weakness and they likely have a very large stockpile of ANTIMAGIC weapons! We should do something about it before they go and pull the mongols on equestria. Equestria's big thing is magic, even for the sisters, and well.......

well at least Orichalcum doesn't really hurt us to badly if we have to go up against an army that uses it themselves as magic isn't really our strong suit even after we've tried to add some mages and whatnot into our armed forces but it's seriously going to mess up most other nations. Hopefully the yeti's are more isolationist then conquerers seeing how they've been the Yak's neighbors for decades and have never once made contact but they're definitely building up and now I'm a bit worried that these guys will be the new possible Great Khan threat.

Also if we head west from Canterbury would that let us met up with Equstria? feel it would be a bit safer then trying to go through storm country again.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the Yaks

I feel like we've done a fair amount to help them, such as sharing our technology with them, encouraging their modernisation and you know dealing with Sombra, and they haven't really done anything to pay us back or help us other than sending some Yaks to fight Sombra and have generally been kind of assholes what with them actively lying about having any orichalcum and Rutherford continuously being hesitant and grudging to have anything to do with us

So yeah, I know it's probably unpopular but if an opportunity arose to annex them I would 100% be on board with that

So that is interesting, also given our non magical status we may very well be the best equipped to take on the Yetis. And if there is sufficient stores there we can really make some equipment to mess up the changelings and the magical slavers. Going to have to check the status on the skyships because that seems a way to get to Equestria.

That was one clan that lied we have had other clans that have been quite helpful. Also the fact that they are trading with us and not trying to stab us in the back like some other nations I can think of is nice.

I thought the Yaks were the Mongols?
I don't know, Mongols were the first thing that came to mind. Basically I expect the Yeti tribes to remain separate, warring with each other, and possibly raiding nearby countries, until a particularly exceptionally leader manages to unite them.

I agree airships would be the most practical way to make contact with Equestria. It would also conveniently serve as an example of our empire's advancement and technology to other nations. However, I'm not sure if our Airships would be capable of flying that far. Also, Wyverns could probably down an airship, if we are unlucky.

'Some'? They literally sent almost every single Warrior they had to aid us against Sombra when he first invaded! Without them, we may have lost the War!

And even after that, they were far less ungrateful then you portray them as here. They have been our Trade-Partners and Allies for Decades now. What you call 'asshole'-Behavior after they became a Nation is just them making clear that they are now a sovereign State. They are still our Allies and Trade-Partners. Why should we betray them?

Should we ask for info on their rulers?
We didn't even get confirmation on how many there are.
Along with the basic economic and political info stuff.

It looks like the coast turns south just past these lands, so we can likely reach Equestria via a naval expedition traveling along the coast. A large group of heavily armed ships might have an easier time dealing with the areas threats then a land born group.

so @Questor Can we get some info from snow drop about the run down of Equestria basically who the ruler or "rulers" are what there like how their economy is have the fought any wars are they currently fighting the yetis and so on.?

Probably that AND Day Breaker. The yetis hapen to be uniquely set up to wreck equestria and there isn't much they can do because of the sheer amount of Orichalcum they have to equip their army.
The Yetis are in no position to attack Equestria right now. They are completely disorganized into many tribes, and even if a genius yeti showed up and started uniting them, it would take several years before all the Yetis could be unified.

Sailing that far would take years, though. I don't think we have ships capable of traveling that far without being resupplied.
