[X] Go to the Mushroom Caves...
-[X] And collect samples in danger of being destroyed in the fighting

I wouldn't normally go for the samples but considering how the night goblins were before, I figure it's worth rolling the dice to see if we can salvage something useful. Even if none of it can be adapted for human use, discovering any possible exotic effects could be useful in other ways. It might give us an idea of what the goblins might be hopped up on so we don't get blindsided in the future, or maybe some could be adapted into poisons.

We already have too much research to do. Plus, I want to do some more fighting.

No, you're his equal on the Expedition org chart so you're free to chip in where you please, and the situation isn't such that it'd be an abandonment.

In that case:

[X] Continue downwards to the Grand Avenue.

Things here look more-or-less under control. Let's go help shore up the weak point so we can work towards establishing a bulkhead.

We aren't strictly needed here, but I feel like a quick application of terror would let this section wrap up sooner against low tier greenskins, hopefully letting us keep momentum.

Early days but it looks like Mushroom voters are in risk of, well, splitting the Mushroom vote between collecting funky 'shrooms and killing funky 'shroom defenders.
