Now that I think about it, van Horstmann Quest is probably convinced that Mathilde is secretly a Vampire, and are all hedging their bets on it just like we are on whether he's actually a Chaos worshipper.

Heh, with Borek we're finally getting the unpleasant side of Divided Loyalties from our boss. With Abelheim and Belegar, our interest were much more aligned. Here, Borek has quite different... ideas about the goals here.

Borek greatest flaw and weakness is his obsession with finding Karag Dum and saving his people on top of the controversy around Karag Dum before hand and even now. To that end he is willing to screw over those who joined and do stuff both stupid and insane if again he brings him to his home and clan.

(Never mind the extremely strong risk of him going Slayer and leaving the group for a good death.)

Seems simple and straightforward; IC concerns and OOC concerns, combined with trying to get a read on both the Dawi in charge of this expedition as well as our dragon-rider buddy.
