No, that was Alkharad. You're thinking of the Magister-Patriarch of the Grey College.
No, that's Algard. You're thinking of a substance with a pH greater than 7.

We wave goodbye with a smile on our face. This whole adventure is a pointless risk. We need to focus on what matters, fortifying for the upcoming waagghh. Let's save foolhardy adventures for a time when our death won't doom the entire Karak.
[X] Don't intervene.
- [X] Leave immediately.
No, Black comedy is fine. That's not funny. Stop. Now. You are mocking the heroic dead. Even in fiction, that's tasteless.
Nope, that's Acidic. He must be thinking of the Shadow-King of Nagarythe.
No, that's Alith Anar. He must be thinking of that tomb king who slit the throat of the royal line of Numas.Nope, that's Acidic. He must be thinking of the Shadow-King of Nagarythe.
If it'll make you feel better, imagine
We may not be able to plug the intel leak completely, but we can absolutely stop whatever is on that document from getting to the Grey Council. The main reason to poke Eshin was to ensure Mors would win, and stop eshin leaking intel, thats not viable any more. Mors is basically finished and trying to plug the intel leak is not viable.
>7 pH is actually alkaline
Don't worry, we'll never forget Van Hal. We're practically best friends with her at this point!
I may or may not have failed senior chem
'I regret tuning in when she was reading the dark elf porn aloud...'
Basic. Alkalis are only a subset of bases. We may not be able to plug the intel leak completely, but we can absolutely stop whatever is on that document from getting to the Grey Council.
>7 pH is actually alkaline
"I know you've read the book, hurry up and let me get a piece of the action as well"?
As a rabid shipper, I am incapable of thinking that thought. In fact, I am now thinking of entirely different, much more delicious scenarios.'I regret tuning in when she was reading the dark elf porn aloud...'
Yes, but I'm pretty sure Redshirt meant Alkaline because it sounds like the Necrarch's name and Basic does not, though we can say that he was, in fact, a basic bitch.
We do not know whether they know. The document the Sorcerer gave the Agent might tell us what Eshin knows. My prediction is that they either know because they've been doing their own stealthy scouting or they believe that Mors's imminent extinction at the hands of the dwarves is very likely.Do we know if the Eshin know that Mors has been wiped out outside Yar?
"Huh. I never realised that chains could be used for so many different things..."As a rabid shipper, I am incapable of thinking that thought. In fact, I am now thinking of entirely different, much more delicious scenarios.
... Probably shouldn't publish those as omake, though.
I think we should wait and see what happens in the next update, Mors has been badly wounded, but they are hardly dead yet and they can still turn the situation around...Eshin > Dragon >> Mors means it's very plausible that not just a small force of survivors but a legitimate fraction of their leadership are in position to get away, assuming that they know an underground way out of Yar. After we finish this assassination what we are currently doing, do we want to try to finish off the surviving skaven, if that mean a fight against multiple Assassins and probably a Master Asssassin? Or do we let them get away and hope that it was the Sorcerer who had all of the relevant intel on his person (since he's the one handing a document over to the Council)?
Obviously stuff depends on how the assassination shapes up (I imagine Mathilde will take a quick look at this document the sorcerer was delivering), but I figured we should start thinking in terms of "how much K8P life are we willing to pay to eradicate Eshin, if Mors and Sparklebutt don't do a very convincing job".
EDIT: Because apparently people are misreading this, let me be explicit: I am talking about sending in our army, not a Mathilde solo mission.
[ ] Both must die.
- [ ] Let the Sorcerer's attack play out, then finish off whoever survives.
Reasoning unchanged. We're trying to prevent information from going out to the Skaven, and whatever report was delivered to the Council Agent is unlikely to be beneficial to us.
But no reason to take the risk when we can have the sorceror take the risk then kill the winner.
Actually, a question -- if the Council Agent dies in Karak Eight Peaks, what's going to happen?[ ] The Sorcerer must die.
- [ ] Let the Sorcerer's attack play out, then attack the weakened Sorcerer if he survives.
On the other hand, if the report was just that Mors is broken, then it might be useful to let them get away with that information so the Underempire has no reason to come back.
[ ] The Council Agent must die.
- [ ] Let the Sorcerer try, and finish the job if he fails.
Council involvement can't be good, so denying them information and resources is in our favor generally.
