I wonder, do the dwarfs maybe have runes to do this safely, in a controlled fashion, the way they approach other magic? Wouldn't surprise me if a couple of their storage rooms for perishable goods and grudgebooks have slow-time runes or something. :whistle:

There is the risk that bringing your lover with you on your adventures would get him or her killed. Now that wouldn't be good for Marthilde's psyche.

I'm confident Boney can make it interesting, and building a love off of mutual understanding and friendship works well most of the time. Better than romantic love matches much of the time.

Preferably different lightning canon used for sample size and comparison. Though the more interesting paper is probably on how you managed to herd all those dragon ogres in the first place. Also, how your subduing them for all those health check ups.

Of course Kragg may read your paper (or at all get someone to describe it to him properly) just so he knows exactly how to disapprove of you for doing that. I half expect he'll have to research a new rune variant to do it properly.

As for our role? I'm definitely most interest in court Wizard. We've had the most impact dealing with other casters or messing about with weird shenanigans. Let's keep doing that.

One point per action spent learning it. College favour is pay per 'term', as opposed to Dwarf favour up-front cost and it takes however long it takes.

Staying out of the marriage vote for the moment, but I know what advisor position I want Mathilde taking.

I'll be all in favor of scouting the other peaks in addition to / as part of looking for local magical shit to do research on and write papers about.
