As if an elf would be able to resist the Goodest Boy. Bah!Wolf, to see how they are settling into Laurelorn and how the locals are treating them.
Considering how family based jades are, they may even end up being related.Although wasn't there a thought at one point about introducing her to Anton, since Mathilde does kind of think of him as a brother and there was that whole thing about his Aunt being a Jade?
Mathilde wouldn't be introducing Panoramia to her biological parents. And Boney did reply on the Anton thing. Apparently he couldn't think of a proper social action so it was scrapped. Also, doing the whole "introducing girlfriend to the family" thing with Regimand might also make Panoramia feel pressured to do the same, and IIRC that would be even more awkward.

Late but if this is sarcastic I dont think it's that's unplausible for the trail to be legit cold. Mathilde expressly gave all the credit to the Longshanks so the few that do know of her involvement Alric has immediate access to really would not be interested in sharing. Maybe the Sigmarite witch hunters if he thinks to check in on them, but I don't see them being any more willing to share info. And it's been like 2 whole weeks so the trail is definitely ice cold
All of these social actions sound great, which is terrible, because I am filled with despair that we will ever take the followup actions that are hanging around our social list like bad pennies. They keep consistently finishing just outside the cutoff.
....Maybe we could talk to Johann about his arm? See what he thinks of it now its fully functional and he's had a while to get used to it, and also see whether he has any plans for what to do with his old arm now he no longer needs it?
Research it and how gilding has affected it compared to a normal arm? Recycle it for the gold? Stuff it and put it on display as a conversational piece?....
What kind of plans do you have with your severed arm? It's not like you can donate it. I doubt you can just attach it to an amputee and have it work fine.
Grey order was there, news at 11
You can only get 10% of the gold value from recycle body parts according to Realm of Sorcery (yes it's actually specified. Value is lost in the process). The combined cost of Hand and Arm gilding is 300 and 400 respectively for a total of 700 GC. That's a total value of 70 gold assuming the arm being frozen hasn't reduced its value (I assume gold doesn't lose value due to being frozen or anything like that).Research it and how gilding has affected it compared to a normal arm? I'm not sure anybody has studied their own severed arm as part of a research project into gilding. And money is money is money. You can only get 10% of the gold value from recycle body parts according to Realm of Sorcery (yes it's actually specified. Value is lost in the process). I guess if he's really hurting for money. In regards to researching Gilding, I'm pretty sure his forefathers have already done far more research into that subject than he can possibly contribute.
No, but I'm sure there's plenty of people who've died from gilding and probably signed some sort of waiver allowing the Gold College to dissect their body after death. What the Morrites don't know they can't interfere with.I'm not sure anybody has studied their own severed arm as part of a research project into gilding. And money is money is money.
Regardless, my point was basically that there are options, not that those were the only ones.
Well now I know what my write in is going to be.I know, but I doubt either of them acknowledge it. It's not like Mathilde can go up to him to go "you're my daaaad. Boogie woogie woogie".
The connection that Johann has with the arm may mean that there are insights to be gleaned that simply aren't possible between a random gold wizard corpse and the latest person to get the bright idea of studying them. Even if there aren't, that itself could conceivably be useful information. No, but I'm sure there's plenty of people who've died from gilding and probably signed some sort of waiver allowing the Gold College to dissect their body after death. "Last Weisshaupt-Andersen should be really dead this time"Tea with Heidi and a visit to our godson to describe the horribly convoluted plot that could have shaken the very foundations of the Empire and cast doubt on Gabriella's very identity… then end it with "And I took care of it".
To be fair, my own father would also take that poorlyI know, but I doubt either of them acknowledge it. It's not like Mathilde can go up to him to go "you're my daaaad. Boogie woogie woogie".
this sounds great yeahTea with Heidi and a visit to our godson to describe the horribly convoluted plot that could have shaken the very foundations of the Empire and cast doubt on Gabriella's very identity… then end it with "And I took care of it".
We strongly suspect the goddess Halétha is one of them. She's the protector goddess of the Forest of Shadows (as in she protects people from the Forest and teaches them how to carve out a place for themselves in it to survive, as opposed to Taal and Rhya's live-in-harmony-with-nature thing) and worshipped by the Ostermark Hedgewise. We're hoping this'll allow us to have an easier recruiting them for the Waystone Project. So, rando question about The Father side of the coin: do we have any leads with Ranald's kids? Like, should we turn it to The Father when around Loec worshippers, if Loec could be said to be any such thing? Salyak temples? Giving up a +20 luck boost is hard to justify at any time.
Except in the Bright College. They expect most of their big spells to burn or explode something and, lo and behold, it works just as intended. There's a fairly widespread theory that Pit of Shades was an attempt to create a liminal realm by brute force - cutting open the barrier between reality and the warp on one side and forcing a bunch of air into it. When that didn't work, the inevitable follow-up would have been 'okay, what happens if we did that in the direction of an enemy?'
Come to think of it, there's similar theories for a lot of the more destructive Battle Magics.
