It's not necessarily full. :p

Uh, it also means we can't use legacy railroad track or equipment not made in our own factories.

Fucking around with the rail gauge in a world where cargo container sizes probably still haven't changed from the old pre-Collapse days isn't a long term economic advantage.

Also, as @Poptart pointed out, we are ALSO limited in our ability to work large amounts of steel. Steel production is only one link in the chain we are missing! The ability to make steel into heavy equipment on an industrial scale- heavy industry as opposed to the light industry of machine shops and small combines- is one of our greatest weaknesses.

Onward to Pittsburgh!

So that's a 7 against a 4.

A three point difference.

How wide/deep is the river at the ford again?

Cause I'm certainly picturing it running red, but I want to know if the Vics will be building bridges out of their corpses and destroyed vehicles.

It's only a matter of time until we roll a 1 and the vicks roll a 3 and wreck our shit, RNGesus is not this kind in my experience.

8 vs 4 actually. River Crossing 2 + semi-urban 1 + Fortifications 1 + Troop quality 1 + Limited AA 1 + Dice Roll 2 = 8.

So a four point difference. Which, IIRC, the last time we got was when the Commonwealth Navy killed the first Victorian Navy.

Well, that already happened in the Air Force battle IIRC.

Well, as usual, Poptart cannot into math, so all is right with the world. Good news is that the math in question corrected neither in nor against your favor, so your margin of victory remains the same, just with bigger and more impressive numbers.

Namely, 8 to 4, advantage Commonwealth. Nicely done. You've made the Victorians cry.

And why is that?

Well, Victorian men don't cry. Victorian soldiers extra-especially don't cry. They don't do it. It's...close to what they consider a sin.

They're crying now.

Why?

Objective: Use the Big Red One to smash the Victorian breakthrough before it can gather momentum.

Commonwealth Modifiers:

Troop quality: 5 points.
Equipment quality: auto-resolve.

Total Modifier: Unnecessary.

Objective: Exploit the breakthrough.

Victorian Modifiers:

Russian-trained: 3 points.
Every man a martyr: 2 points.
Russian-equipped: 1 point.
Amphibious: 1 point.
Battered Russian logistics training: -1 point.

Total Modifier: 6 points.

Result:

No roll. No contest. No chance.

You just wiped out the CMC.

CMC? the Christian Marine Corp

They're fault for bringing cold war shit to fight abrams. Dunno what they expected but that was only ever gonna end one way, the tech disparity is way too great.
