The younger girl pouts, but Usagi just laughs. "Hey, don't look too down." Usagi says, "I only live a couple hours away up in Tokyo, and there's nothing stopping me from coming and visiting every now and then."

"You promise?" Minori asks the older girl, a stern look on her face.

"Hey, I'm your sister's Senpai, I won't lie to you." Usagi says with a smile, deeply amused by the way that Saki sputters at her words.

Minori opens her mouth to try and say something else, but the girl's words are interrupted by a yawn. It only takes the two Pretty Cure a few minutes more before they manage to gather up Minori, and start back down the trail.

Once the three girls are gone, Usagi and Makoto have time to start working on what they actually came down to Kamakura for.

Usagi to test and train her transformed self, and Makoto to experiment further with her magic.

Usagi decides not to give Saki and Mai her actual number, instead giving the two a pair of communicators of their own, making sure that there isn't a chance of the girl's somehow accidentally revealing anything to Usagi's parents. On top of that, the Sailor Senshi agree to come and pick up the two for the meeting that the Senshi are going to be having with the Tokyo Pretty Cure.

Once the younger magical girls are gone, however, it is time for the two's training to truly commence.

Transforming, Sailor Moon leaps up into the air, soaring across the treetops as she searches to find something that she can use to experiment with her strength. Something heavy enough to push the girl, without being so heavy as to strain the magic she uses.

At the same time, Makoto also transforms. However, unlike the Princess's actions, Sailor Jupiter sits down, crossing her legs as she slowly breathes in and out. The girl's eyes slowly slide shut, and the girl's focus turns away from the world, instead seeping inwards towards the girl's core.

In and out
In and out
In and out

One by one, the girl's senses start to fall away. Vision and taste are the first too fade, as with her eyes closed there is nothing to see, and having not eaten there is nothing to taste.

Hearing is the next to slip out of focus, the soft rhythm of her breathing the only sound around the girl. The smells of the forest are easy to ignore, allowing smell to slip out of her thoughts as well. Finally, with no movement other than her breathing, the girl discards her sense of touch.

At peace and in focus Sailor Jupiter calmly meditates, her mind instead exploring the magic flowing through her body.

Elsewhere in the woods, Sailor Moon lands, her feet skidding across the stone and the grass. Her arms spin round and round as she bleeds off motion, coming to a stop right before a towering stone. Covered in moss, the stone is more than a head higher than Usagi and easily wider than her arms can reach around.

Looking from her skinny arms to the stone, the girl gives a slow grin, before she presses forward, arms coming up as she slams into the stone with her shoulder. Hands wrap around as much as she can, fingers pressing into the solid stone like clay beneath a sculptor's hands. With a press of muscle, the girl starts to try and lift the stone.

Slowly, the stone starts to rise out of the ground, but at the same time, Usagi can feel her magic straining against the stone, straining to keep the transformation intact and whole. With a snarl, the girl bends her knees, getting a different grasp on the stone and pulling up even harder. She can feel the trasnformation trying to unravel, but Usagi starts to pour her magic into the stone, into herself, shoring up the gaps and the breaks in the spell, before there is a heavy CRACK and the top half of the stone splinters apart!

The girl stumbles back one step, two steps, before she manages to get control of the great weight in her arms. Carefully, Usagi sets the massive chunk of stone onto the ground. After a few moments of catching her breath, Usagi takes a step forward, slowly picking the stone up again. It is extremely heavy, but not heavy enough that she can't handle it. The girl takes two steps, before she pauses. Usagi looks to the left, and then to the right... Which way was the Sky Tree again? Shifting how she holds the massive stone, the girl takes a breath, and leaps.

In the depths of Sailor Jupiter's mind, the girl can feel her magic thrumming with power, with potential. That potential is hard to put into words... In what had to be the strangest way that Makoto had ever encountered. Because, to be honest, it was not difficult at all to put words to the potential whispering in the depths of the girl's mind. So many different words could be applied, but once a word was applied, then everything was ruined, and Makoto had to start her meditation all over again.

Three times now she has managed to accidentally apply a word, transforming the power inside of her into something else, something more. She was close, so very close, but the dark haired girl was uncertain as to what the next step that she needed to do was. Slowly, the girl continues to meditate, examining and studying the power that flowed through her veins. Breathing in, the girl fills her lungs with air, watching how the potential expands. Breathing out, the girl watches as the potential shimmers and shapes itself.

In and out
In and out
In and out

Slowly, ever so slowly, the girl's mind reaches out-yet-in, caressing the potential, drawing a sliver in-yet-out. This was no longer the towering behemoth of potential that roars within the deepest parts of the girl's soul, but instead a single handful of power, of force and shape and will.
8 + 14 = 22
[TOTAL SUCCESS]
This minuet sliver of power thrums in the girl's hand, just enough to study and look at. Most interesting of all, the power and potential no longer strives to reshape itself at the slightest thought. Instead, it is as if there was... something inherent to the power.

The potential to crackle and snap and arc from finger to finger as bolts of shimmering lightning. Yet, that was but a single piece of potential, a part of the greater whole of the shapes and forms that the power could take.

Ever so slowly, Makoto opens her eyes, looking down at what first glance seems to be an empty hand. But no, the girl can feel the power still thrumming in and around her hand, wanting to act and be, instead of simply potentially being. Moving the full yet empty hand back and forth, the girl can feel the potential trying to manifest as electricity, to move through the air in the way that it was meant to. Which, now that Makoto can notice that raises interesting questions. Carefully, the girl lowers her hand, bringing it down to the ground. Pressing a palm into the dirt, Sailor Jupiter allows the potential to seep into the earth, and at once the power is not what it was before, slipping free of Makoto's control.

The whole of the grove is more. The grass so green that it glimmers like emeralds in the light. The leaves of the Sky Tree rustle as the branches creak, shivering in a non-existent wind. Then, like a ripple spreading from a dropped stone, a wave of color flows outwards away from Makoto, the grass all around the girl blooming into flowers. With her hand pressed against the soil, Makoto can feel each and every one of the flowers, the blades of grass, and even the trees around her.

It's almost like some kind of filter has been pulled back from the world around her, and Makoto can feel millions of tiny voices calling out, cheering and chiming and singing. It isn't a sound, and the girl isn't actually hearing it, but it is the closest that Makoto can understand of the sensation slipping back along her magic.

The brunette can hear the singing of leaves on the branches, the cheers of grass consuming the light of the sun, and the joyful songs of flowers blooming. A wondrous chorus of life and loam, of dirt and sun. With barely a thought, Makoto's magic twists, flowing through the ground before rocketing out of the ground, a loamy root snapping up and wrapping around the trunk of a nearby tree. One by one, a circle of roots rises up around the girl, waving ends dancing like tendrils in the air.

Makoto can't help but smile, now that she is filled with the essence of plants, the power of the trees, and the warmth of soil. Slowly, the girl returns the roots to the earth, her instincts telling her that leaving the roots out will do great harm to the plants around her. Once all the plants have returned to the way that they should be, Makoto stands again. Now that she has found this power, reaching for it again is less like a struggle, and more like riding a bicycle, as if the power has always been there, just waiting for her to pick it up.

And with these two powers, sitting at the back of her head like switches waiting to be flipped, the girl knows what to look for in her head and in her soul.

Electricity crackles along the back of her right hand, while the air around her left hand shimmers with verdant spores, the air spinning and swirling about the limb. Two powers that draw from the well deep within Makoto's soul, but now the girl has found a third form, a third switch. Dispelling the differing magics, Makoto brings her hands together, channeling magic between them in order to see what this last magic is capable of.

More and more and more magic is drawn upon, and even Makoto finds herself breathing harder and harder as she struggles to force the power she can feel within to manifest. Even more power is pushed harder and harder, until there is something almost akin to a pop. The pressure and the weight are gone, as the space between the girl's hands ripple and waver. For a moment, Makoto isn't sure of what she is seeing, as she can tell that the plants aren't moving, even though the space between her hands looks like they are.

No, it isn't the plants that is twisting and moving, it is the light. The girl can feel her hair slowly lifting up, being casually blown about by the breeze without falling back to the ground. Actually, now that Makoto is paying attention, she can feel the ground below start to give way... No. It isn't giving way, rather, Makoto is starting to float, weightless upon the breeze.

Completely untouched by gravity. With a thought, and a heave of effort, the girl crashes to the ground. In a circle around the girl, the grass is flattened by the force of a different world, and even Sailor Jupiter can barely keep on her feet. Another heave of the mind, and Makoto finds that her feet are no longer below her. Because in front of her is below her. Flying straight ahead, the girl falls along the side of the world. A final mighty heave, and the effort and resistance return, as Makoto's magic is no longer enough to overcome the pull of the earth itself. Hitting the ground, the girl bounces, sliding along the grass for a long moment.

[TWO SUCCESSES]
The rest of the day passes in much the same way, with the two girls experimenting and practicing, learning and adapting to the power that they have at their fingertips.

CHOOSE ONE:
[ ][Usagi] Ultrasonic Cry
- AOE Attack that hits everything in range with super high frequency waves
-- +1 Prowess, causes opposed rolls for everything in range, potentially causing Prowess Maluses to allies and enemies, and can destroy fragile objects
[ ][Usagi] Moon Tiara Melee Action
- Variation of base Moon Tiara Action Spell to function in Melee
-- +3 Prowess, Gain trait 'Dagger Novice' which has a -3 Prowess Malus until a certain number of uses of the spell are done
[ ][Usagi] Moon Twilight Flash!
- Non damaging AOE attack that generates a blinding flash of light that can disorientate enemies
-- Inflict a Prowess Malus on everyone hit by the spell. Try to avoid using it nearly shiny things
[ ][Usagi] Moon Sparkling Sensation
- Gathers magical energy between framed fingers to fire a laser of intense Moonlight
-- +2 Prowess, can set enemies and objects of fire
[ ][Usagi] Restore
- A powerful spell that can be used once per 24 hours that resets Usagi's body back to how it was at the moment of first transforming
-- Completely heals Usagi of all effects

CHOOSE TWO (2):
[ ][Mako] Flower Hurricane
- Drawing on the Element of Plants, Makoto summons forth a swarm of spiraling spinning cherry blossom petals that whip and whirl around a target, creating a large amount of color and sound that can distract an opponent
-- +1 Prowess, causes opposed roll for targeted enemy, potentially causing Prowess Malus
[ ][Mako] Jovian Weather: Aurora Canon
- Summoning forth the powerful electromagnetic energies of the many Auroras that exist within Jupiter's upper atmosphere, Makoto gains the ability to telekinetically fire all magnetic objects within a range of her self towards a singular point.
-- +2 Prowess, hits a large area
[ ][Mako] Graviton Field Aegis
- By layering inverted gravitational layers in front of the herself, Makoto is able to create a layer of spacetime that is nearly solid, heavily reducing the force of blows and attacks going through the shield, however the spell is in it's current state unable to be moved, locking the girl in place. This spell can be improved!
-- -10 to Prowess checks against Makoto, -5 Prowess for Makoto due to being unable to move from her position
[ ][Mako]Crackling Vine Correction
- A spell that draws on both of the elemental powers of Jupiter, Makoto slams the earth with a burst of electricity that empowers the seeds of plants in the range of the electric burst, causing them to explode into large vines that will wrap around the target
-- +2 Prowess, causes a Flat check for everyone in range touching the ground to avoid being stunned and forfeiting their next action, causes an opposed check (that paralyzed targets automatically fail) to wrap them in vines
[ ][Mako] Rose Whip
- Makoto grows a whip of thorny vines that feed on the blood of targets to improve itself
-- +1 Prowess, causes a check to bind a target in place
[ ][Mako] Electro-Targeting Interference
- By slamming her fists together, Makoto generates a massive field of electromagical interference, screwing with the kinds of senses that are required for spatial magics of nearly all kinds, most specifically teleportation. However, a skilled teleporter can account for the interference after a few moments of studying it. Interference is unique per casting, so countermeasures cannot be created
-- Temporarily prevent teleportation
[ ][Mako] Corner Pocket
- A spell that makes Makoto the 'down' for all objects within a forty foot radius of herself.
-- -2 Prowess for all individuals within 40 feet, causes effected to fall towards Makoto.

Finally, the last thing that the day managed to achieve was Usagi having some time to experiment with the Crystal Rod. After finally using the device in action, the girl has managed to figure out almost everything that the rod does. And frankly, while the girl would love to experiment further... She probably shouldn't.

With every spell that Sailor Moon cast, she could feel the rod creak and groan. This imitation of the rod that she is supposed to have clearly was never actually meant for her, possibly not for any of the senshi.

Her power is more than the device is built to handle, her strength is more than the device was meant to handle.

Which is fascinating, as the rod has several spells written into itself, all the fancy bits having already been done. It is as simple as pouring magic into the rod, choosing the spell to use, and giving the thing a wave. Inside the rod are three different spells... There might be another, but Usagi couldn't figure out how to make the last spell matrix fire off, so... three spells.

A healing spell that the rod seemed to struggle with, as if it was trying to copy something more than it could handle.

A beam spell that allowed the caster to fight from range.

And finally, a spell that caused the rod to transform into a weapon. For Usagi it became a long straight edged blade that she could carry in one hand. Usagi isn't sure if the spell is different for everyone who uses it, or if the sword is the only option... Or if potentially there were other forms and Usagi just couldn't figure the spell out.

Annoyingly, the fact that the rod was clearly straining from even the lightest of uses meant that there was no way that the thing could be used by a Senshi for long periods of time.

Luckily, one of Usagi's closest friends isn't a Senshi.
[ ][Rod] Keep Usagi using the Crystal Rod?
- Every combat the Crystal Rod will gain a 1% cumulative chance of breaking. This cumulative chance increases to +2 at 10% chance of breaking and will continue to go up over time
[ ][Rod] Return the rod to the artifact stash
[ ][Rod] Give the rod to Naru

"So..." Rei starts, looking across the table at Luna, Phobos, and Deimos. The two birds manage to look more than a little nervous as they sit there, but Luna seems completely relaxed. "Grandfather knows about the two of you." the girl says, it is not a question.

"Indeed." Phobos says, her voice soft as she looks between the girl and Luna. "Our presence at the shrine is one of the many secrets of the shrine." the crow explains, "The plan had been for you to learn of us when you became eighteen and began taking over more of the shrine's duties." Phobos says, feathers ruffling, "Then, your existence as the Princess of Mars would have been revealed to you on your twenty-first birthday, when your grandfather retired."

"Just for the record." Deimos says, his voice deeper as he looks over towards Phobos, "This was my and your grandfather's decision. Phobos had wanted you to know the truth as soon as you were old enough to understand..." Deimos sighs, "However I feared that you knowing about your heritage would likely help bring your magic to the forefront before your Miko training could give you control over it."

"You were worried about me burning things down?" Rei asks, a light scowl on her face, but Deimos shakes his head.

"We have been watching this shrine for..." The crow pauses, a thoughtful look on his face.

"Centuries," Phobos said, "We were first awoken just before 1550." the crow explains, "And we have been protecting this shrine ever since."

Luna turns to the two birds, a surprised look on her face. "So long...?" The cat asks, and the two birds nod. "I guess it's no surprise that you've forgotten so much of before the Fall."

"I mean, yes." Deimos says, "But I also did my best to keep out of all the political nonsense anyways, it wasn't our place."

"That doesn't answer my question." Rei says, her brow furrowing in frustration.

"Sorry," Phobos says, shaking her head. "See, the thing is that we have watched as magic and mysticism slowly pulled back from the rest of the world, hiding itself away and working so hard to disguise even the history from the regular people. The shrines across the land were mostly left alone, due to how many of them were actually keeping various spirits and Genus Loci from getting riled up, but all the same, we watched as those with magic worked harder and harder to hide themselves from the rest of the world, and we worried that if you were to learn of your magic, to lose control of it, then the magical aspects of the government might take you away."

"Do you really think that they would do that?" Rei asks, and all three of the magical guides sigh. "We've already been given a half warning," Luna says, "There is a shop that sells magical tools and trinkets that the Princess and the other Senshi frequent, and there has already been a warning of the fact that the magical government is looking for us. Because fighting demons where those without magic can see it is illegal."

There is a long moment of silence as Rei sits there, her face in her hands, before she gives a deep sigh, and looks up at the cat. "Speaking of the Princess," Rei starts, "Where is she today?"

Luna winces, "She's... Out." the cat says. "...Usagi's mom is in the hospital." Luna admits after a moment. "Ended up overdosing on magical tea. In order to keep herself from having a total meltdown and panic over all of that, Usagi went with Makoto to help her with her magic."

"Magical tea?" Rei asks, trying to understand what the cat means.

"So... a few weeks back we bought a magic tea set that can remove curses." Luna explains, "The idea had been that if anything happened to the Tsukino family, then they'd be purified by the tea." Rei nods at that, it's odd... but makes a certain degree of sense. "Then, the one person who doesn't drink tea ended up being the one drawn into a Dark Kingdom threat. Usagi's younger brother ended up in the hospital, and Ikuko hadn't slept over the last three days, keeping herself up and moving with tea. Lots of it."

Rei nods, the pieces settling in her head. "So is that... How she normally is?" the dark haired girl asks, "Throwing herself into work when she doesn't want to think about things?"

Luna winces a little, but there is a long moment before she answers. "To a degree, yes, but at the same time, she's been throwing herself into this fight against the Dark Kingdom, and everything involved with magic and the Senshi with a kind of fervor that, at least according to the conversations I've overheard between her parents, is unlike anything she's had in her life.I'll admit... I am worried that she is going to push herself too hard. The other are doing what they can to help, but I don't know if it will be enough."

Rei sits there, thinking for a long moment before she nods. "Then, we should make sure to do the best that we can in order to help her along." Rei says. All three companions nod, and Rei smiles, "Which brings me to the specific thing I wanted to talk with you about Luna."

"Oh?" the cat asks, head tilting to one side.

"Has Usagi contacted Sailor V yet?" She asks.

Luna shakes her head. "It's on the docket, but handling the current crises here in Tokyo have pushed it back."

Rei glances down at the watch on her wrist. Motioning with her hand, "Does Sailor V have one?" Rei asks, and Luna blinks, head tilting.

"To be honest, I'm not sure." The cat admits, "I sent one to Artemis, and he should have given one to Sailor V, but... She's not contacted us, so I don't know."

"Well then," Rei says, "How do I call a particular communicator, and not just across all of them?"

Hoping up onto the table, Luna quickly explains the different controls for the communicator. With a click, a shimmering hologram pops to life above the communicator, showing the whole of the solar system. Rei blinks in surprise when she realizes that there are three different clusters of dots on the map of the solar system.

One at the far edge of the solar system, sitting at the northern most pole of Pluto, a tightly clustered layer of dots on one of Uranus's moons, and the final collection of dots all on the earth. With a careful finger, the girl taps the earth, causing the whole of the map to zoom into the single planet. Of the dots on the Earth, all but one of them are on Japan, while the last of the dots is stationed in the British Isles.

Rei taps the last of the dots, and the communicator begins to quietly beep, a quick trio of beeps followed by a moment of silence, then another quick trio of beeps.

After a moment, there is a soft click, and the hologram changes, revealing the face of a young woman on the other side. With long blonde hair and a red face mask, the girl on the other side looks at Rei with a bit of surprise and confusion. "Hello?" The girl asks in English.

"Ah, Hello." Rei responds back in English.

"Do I know you?" The girl asks, and Rei blanches a little, her knowledge of English good enough to parse the words, but she isn't entirely sure how to phrase what she wants to say in the foreign language.

"Do you... Speak... Japanese?" Rei asks, back and there is a momentary look of confusion from the girl on the other side of the line, before the blonde chuckles,

"Apologies," Sailor V says, now speaking Japanese, "It's been a while since I've spoken to anyone who knows Japanese."

"It is quite alright." Rei says, "I am Rei Hino, but more importantly I am Sailor Mars." The dark haired girl says.

"Artemis told me that the others were starting to wake up, is it just you?" Sailor V says, and there is a soft smile of relief on her face.

"Here right now, yeah," Rei says, "But nearly everyone is awake now. Mercury, the Princess, Jupiter, The Prince of the Earth, and Uranus and Neptune of the Queensgard."

Sailor V is quiet, "The Queensgard..." Sailor V says, "I... huh. I didn't even realize I had forgotten them." The girl shakes her head. "Alright, so what did you want to talk about?"

[ ][V] What do you want to talk about?

A Meeting of Fire and Steel Part 2 - The Seal of Solomon
[x][V] Are you doing okay? We've got enough people to handle major threats for now, but you're fighting alone. Anything we can do to help?
[x][V] What other magical factions are you aware of? Can you tell anything about this "magical government" we've heard about?
[X][V] Luna also told us something about 'Knights of Oblivion,' and the Queensguard have been running into them over here too. Do you know anything about them?
[X][V] Luna says you've been fighting the Dark Kingdom all alone in Britain. How's it going?
[x][V] The Princess wants to meet, she's been calling the idea Operation Slumber Party, and using it to land a finishing strike on the Dark Kingdom over in the UK.
[X][V] The Princess has remembered how to teleport... and we think the Dark Kingdom doesn't know about that yet. We might be able to get together. Maybe the ones you're up against wouldn't be expecting you to get sudden reinforcements for a big fight!

Rei pauses for a moment, eyes sliding up to the ceiling as she places a finger on her chin. "That is a good question." the dark haired girl admits, "I think the best place to start would be with you." Sailor V's head tilts to one side, a near mirror of the way that Usagi does the same thing when she is met with a question that confuses her.

"Huh?" the girl says, "What do you mean?"

"How are things on your end?" Rei explains a little further. "Are you, personally, doing okay? With everyone here, we've got enough people to handle any major threats that might pop up for now, but you're on the other side of the planet fighting alone. Is there anything that we can do to help you out?"

Sailor V is quiet for a moment, the girl slowly gnawing at a lip... "I... I'm fine." The girl says, shaking her head. "I mean, as you said I'm on the other side of the planet, there isn't any way that you could get to me, and even if you have plenty of people I'd rather not throw off whatever teamwork you've got go-" Before the girl can say anything more, the head of a pale white cat pops up under the girl's chin, a severe look on his face.

"Yes, there is something." The cat says, and Rei realizes that this must be Artemis, Sailor V's own advisor.

"Wh-what?" Sailor V says, eyes blinking in surprise as she looks down at the Mao.

"Luna," Artemis says, giving the other cat a nod. "I need you to find the Aino family for me." First Sailor V's face goes pale, the girl sputtering out random sounds before it flushes bright red.

"N-No!" the girl stutters out, but Rei isn't convinced that Sailor V doesn't want this. The Senshi's other hand reaches up, pushing the white cat out of frame, but Rei, Luna, and the two Crows can still hear him.

"Mina hasn't spoken to her family since we came to London. They need to know that she's still alive!" The cat cries out.

There is another moment of silence, and Sailor V looks to one side, before she sighs, one more mirroring the way that Usagi moves, "Lo-look. It's fine. It's been a year already, there's no point in finding them, okay?" She coughs into her hand, clearly looking to change the subject. "Anyways, no. There isn't anything that I need help with right now. Especially given that you're halfway across the world, it would take the better part of a day to get here."

Rei looks at the girl for a long moment, eyes hard as flint and almost glowing with an inner fire. It was a look that Rei normally withheld only for her grandfather when he did something particularly stupid, but the distinct air of disappointment and frustration seemed to be working on the Senshi half way across the world as well. "If that is the case, then how is the fight going?"

From the way that Sailor V's shoulders sag in relief, the girl is just happy to off the subject of her family, before the question hits, and the girl again mimics Usagi's motions. This time a sigh of frustration matched with rolling not just her eyes but her entire head to the side. "Things have been infuriating right now." The girl starts to explain, "Danburite is still out here, doing... who knows what." The girl grouses as she waves an arm, "Because he doesn't seem to be turning any humans into Youma here. I know of one location that they've got some kind of operation set up in, but I haven't been able to get inside to what it is, and with those crazy Oblivion guys running around, I haven't had the time to deal with it either."

"I can see how that would be annoying," Rei admits, nodding. "Is it a matter of not having the fire power to get in there?" Rei asks, and Sailor V nods with a sigh.

"In the last few weeks, Kunzite and Danburite have been scaling back the sizes of their operations, even shutting some down. Though part of that is probably because between Me, Scotland Yard, and the Ambrosian Spellblades have finally started to push back against the Oblivion." The girl sighs, dropping her head onto her arm, before she pauses. With a groan, the girl lifts her head, looking back to Rei. "I'm guessing that you have no idea who I'm talking about though?"

"Well, definitely have no idea what the spellblades are, but the Queensgard have been hunting down a branch of the Knights of Oblivion here in Tokyo." Rei says, causing Rei to first perk up, followed by a sharp curse of some kind that Rei doesn't recognize in English. "I haven't had time to be debriefed on them yet, but I know that they are trying to steal people's memories? Are there any other magical factions that you are aware of?"

"So I don't know what you know about them," Sailor V starts, before Luna leans over.

"Not much, unfortunately. We know that they are stealing people's memories to try and revive some Oblivion King, but that's about it." Luna says, and Sailor V nods.

"Well, that covers the very basics," Sailor V says, "But thanks to help from the Spellblades, I've managed to learn a decent bit more about them." The blonde explains, "The Knights of Oblivion are actually an ancient secret society stretching back to about 1000 BC. They're King Oblivion is actually Azazel, one of the Demon Kings that was sealed into and commanded by the Seal of Solomon. Apparently that is a real thing, and they have the actual ring. However, there is some kind of magic lock on the ring, and that is why they want people's memories. Because something something, magic memory lock on the ring. I don't really understand it all, but the Knights have been running us all ragged over here."

Rei thinks for a moment, letting the explanation that Sailor V gave to them settle in her head. "And I've guessing then," she begins, "That the Spellblades are part of the magical government?"

"Well, technically no." Sailor V says, "But that's because unlike a lot of places around the world, the British Government is the British Government. There is not separate government for magical people and non magical people. I know that the Spellblades have complained about the magical UN thing, but I don't know a lot about it. The Ambrosian Spellblades are sort of like magic special forces... No, no that's not a good explanation." Sailor V is quiet for a moment longer, before she sighs. "So they are this super secret order of spell casters that are also trained to be like spies and assassins. The order supposedly traces all the way back to a special order of knights in Camelot, but even the Spellblades I work with don't really believe that. The guys I work with are a part of MI5, and are pretty cool."

Rei nods, before Luna pops back up, "So, one last thing before we let you go." The cat says, eyeing the girl. "Well, two last things." And Luna gives Sailor V her best 'Disappointed mother' look, catching on, Rei resumes her own sharp look at the girl. "Name." Luna says simply, "Calling you Sailor V when we are discussing things will get a lot of attention around here, people still remember you and the things you did around Tokyo. So, your name."

Sailor V opens her mouth to say something, a hand raised, before she starts to laugh, covering her face with a hand. "I forgot to untransform and introduce myself. Wow, I'm sorry for not realizing. It's just been..." The girl is quiet for a moment, "You were asking me about the magical government, which means I'm guessing, that you haven't encountered them. So before I get back to what you were saying, how often are the Knights attacking?"

Luna's own head tilts as she thinks, before the Mao gives the distant Senshi an answer. "The Queensgard are encountering them about twice a month."

"Then, yeah. The magical Government of Japan sounds like they are swinging about the same as we are then." Sailor V says, "MI5 is interrupting about 2 of their operations a week, the spellblades managing to prevent them from popping into public spaces most times, with the Knights getting into actual populated areas about twice a month." Sailor V says, before she gives out a yawn, and with a burst of shimmering gold, the magic unravels around the girl, giving way to a girl that actually looks not to dissimilar from Usagi. "...Anyways," The girl says with another yawn. "My name is Minako Aino." Minako scratches the top of her head, "So what was the other thing that you were wanting to talk about, Luna?"

"The Princess has managed to recall a teleportation technique." Luna says simply, her words drawing Minako back to a laser focus. "Far as we know, the Dark Kingdom and the Dark Agency are unaware. Usagi's been calling it Operation Slumber Party the few times she's brought it up."

"Wait... you're meaning..." Minako starts to say, thinking over what Luna is saying.

"That we could drop the entire Royal Guard on that set up you haven't been able to get into?" Luna offers, a smile on the cat's face. "Indeed I am."

"How soon are you thinking?" Minako asks, a thoughtful look on her face. "If it's any sooner than a week out, we might have trouble, but... If we are looking at two weeks out, then I bet I could get some spellblades in on it too."

"Definitely not this week," Luna says, "We're hopefully going to finally hunt down the last of Jadeite's plots here in Tokyo by the end of the week. Next week might work..." Luna starts, before noticing that Rei is shaking her head.

"The week after next week is Finals." Rei says, "I'm going to be putting every available hour into studying next week."

Luna hums, a grin starting to form on the cat's face. "A trip to London to celebrate the end of Finals?" The cat offers, and the rest of the people on both sides of the call end up laughing.

"I like the cut of your nose," Minako says, the statement drawing confused looks from the Tokyo side of the call, before Artemis sighs.

"Cut of your jib, Mina. Cut of your jib." The cat says with an exasperated but fond tone. The cat gives the Senshi a quick salute. "Now, come on Mina. I'm hungry!"

It isn't long after that that the call ends, information having been traded, and plans beginning to be set. All in all, Rei is quite happy with the work she's done for the day.

Do What Ye Will, Harm None Part 1 - An Early Morning Plot
Early Monday Morning, May 4th, 1992

Usagi groans quietly as she glares across the dining room table towards the kettle sitting on the stove. The house is too quiet.

While her mother did actually wake up even before the girl managed to get home from Kamakura with Makoto, it was the doctor's decision to keep Ikuko overnight, due to the unusual symptoms and the lack of discernible cause. Which means that it was just Usagi, Luna, and her father in the house last night, and the blonde never realized just how much noise the people she lived with made during the night, because the lack of those very noises prevented the girl from being able to sleep well.

Much to the girl's frustration, Ikuko agreed to undergo a few additional tests by a Doctor Ken Isoda, who thought that he might be able to discern the cause of the woman's collapse. Due to that, Ikuko wasn't being released from the hospital until her father got off of work in the afternoon.

However, for all of it's frustrations, that does mean that Ikuko is going to be at the same hospital as Shingo, which means that after Usagi completes her cunning plan that she can visit her Mom. There is a part of the girl that wants to apologize to her mom, but that would just raise questions that Usagi isn't quite ready to answer yet.

Thus, Usagi sits, glaring across the room as she nurses a cup of tea in one hand (A cup not made in the magical kettle, of course), slowly sipping at the sugar laden tea as she tries to draw herself out of the realm of exhaustion and into being fully awake.

"Morning." Kenji says with a yawn as he comes down the stairs into the living room. He looks to the young blonde, before giving a soft chuckle of his own. "Couldn't sleep well?" He asks. Usagi groans, shaking her head. "Me neither." He admits, "But, your mother is coming home tonight, and according to Doctor Isoda, there is a new medication that recently was approved by the Ministry of Health, and the Hospital is just the first in Tokyo to begin treatment. And given that the young and the elderly are receiving priority treatment... If we are lucky, then your brother will be back in here annoying you out of your mind before the end of the week."

Usagi smiles up at her father from where she lays her head on the table, and with a laugh, the man reaches down, ruffling the girl's hair. "So..." He starts, "Any plans for the day?"

"Thinking of going and hanging out with Naru for a bit," Usagi says, the words aren't exactly a lie, given that Usagi is planning on meeting with Naru first for the exact reason of making sure that she isn't lying to her father, but that doesn't make the words come out any easier, and admitting that she is planning on sneaking into the hospital in order to use magic to heal people is a definite no-go. "Then maybe swing by the Hospital and say hi to Mom before heading back to the house."

Kenji smiles, "I think that'll be good for her." He says, before glancing across the kitchen. "Do you have any plans for Breakfast?" He asks, and Usagi glances up at him. There is a clearly embarrassed look on his face. "I'm no good in the kitchen," He admits, "So if you're hungry, we can go out and get breakfast, and I'll drop you off at Naru's once we're done."

[ ][Brek] Get breakfast with Kenji
- Gives a +2 Bonus to all actions during this event, however Kenji gets a Search Roll (d20 DC 17) to find a Clue that something is up
[ ][Brek] Do not get Breakfast with Kenji
- Do not get a bonus, but Kenji does not get a search roll

Regardless of whether or not Usagi had breakfast with her father, she finds herself at Naru's house not too long after. The red headed girl grumbles as she follows after Usagi. "Had I known that you were planning on doing this so early in the morning, I wouldn't have agreed." The girl grouses, her words interrupted by a yawn. "I'mma get you back for this." She says after a moment of standing still, blankly staring at the wall in her room. "I'mma give your first baby pink hair."

Usagi blinks at the statement, glancing at her friend for a long moment, before she wisely decides to put that statement to the side and ignore it. That is a thought that a more awake Usagi and a more awake Naru would have to talk about some time later. For now, the important thing is that Naru's mom sees the two hanging out before she heads down to work the store.

Tossing a quick wave to Mrs. Mayumi, Usagi helps the still half asleep Naru back to the girl's room, allowing the girl to collapse back on her bed. "You know," Usagi says, looking at the girl, "If you are planning on going back to sleep, you'd be more comfortable taking all of that off."

"Lat'r." Naru slurs out with a yawn, but her eyes are locked onto Usagi's. "Once yur gone." She explains a little further, a statement that makes Usagi blink in surprise, not exactly understanding what the girl means by that.

Naru giggles at the look on Usagi's face, waving the girl off. "Go help people, Superhero."

Slowly sliding the window to the girl's room open, Usagi lightly taps her brooch, a soft whisper of "Moon Prism Power, Make up!" transforming the girl, and somehow, given the whispered words, instead of the mighty flash of blinding light, instead all of Usagi's features are covered in a shimmer of kaleidoscopic color that wraps all around the girl for a moment, before fading away to reveal the form of Sailor Moon. Slipping out the window, Sailor Moon clings to the side of the building for a moment, slowing sliding the window closed, before she kicks off the wall, soaring up into the air, and across the road towards the rooftop of the building a block over.

Do What Ye Will, Harm None Part 2 - Arriving at the Hospital
So... I made a small mistake which I am fixing here.

Someone asked about a vote on calling the other two groupings of communicators, and I said that I'd make it a vote at the end of the event, and then forgot to do so.

So!
[ ][Com] Call the Uranus Moon Communicators
- ???
[ ][Com] Call the Pluto Communicator
- ???
-- Slight chance of Communicator Error
[ ][Com] Call both!
- ???
-- Slightly higher chance of Error than calling Pluto alone
[ ][Com] Call Neither

[X][Brek] Get breakfast with Kenji
Together, Usagi and her father go out for Breakfast, just the two of them. At first the two try to talk with one another. Asking about how their days have been, what Kenji's work is like, how Usagi is doing in school... But little by little the conversation starts to trail off.

Usagi doesn't mean to be secretive with her father, but there is so much happening in her life that he is unaware of, and that Usagi doesn't even know how she would begin to explain. Which means that time and time again, Usagi's answers tend towards the more vague and less informative. All in all, it creates a strange air for the meal, one that Usagi wishes that she had the ability to cross and climb over, but one that she doesn't know how to.

And while the thought of coming clean and admitting everything crosses the girl's mind... Well... At the very least, that is something that will have to wait until her Mother is out of the hospital. Of course, there is a part of the girl that wants to push it back even further.

Perhaps once Jadeite is taken care of?

In the end, the conversation and discussion over breakfast was stilted and unnatural, and it was clear that both father and daughter could feel it. Eventually, Kenji drops Usagi off at Naru's. There is a moment where the man's eyes bore into the girl, his expression strong and stern, but his eyes were warm with love. "You know that you can tell me anything, right?" He says, "I won't ever hate you, Bunny." He continues, smirking as he calls Usagi by the nickname that Usagi used to go by when she was much younger.

[FAILURE]

Usagi gives a brittle watery smile back at her father, before she hugs the man. Tight, but not tight enough to hurt, before she lets go. "Thanks Dad." She whispers back, before heading into the lobby of Osa-P.

With a soft sigh, Kenji returns to his car, eyes slipping up to the rear view mirror as he drives away. Something has happened to his daughter, something has changed. His little bunny has secrets now, things that she isn't willing to speak to him about. There is a part of Kenji that wants to grab his daughter, to shake her and demand that she tell him what she knows. That is a bad thought, one of his father's thoughts.

Kenji swore years ago that when, if, he ever had kids that he wouldn't treat them the way that his own father treated Kenji and his sister. The thought of Mia Tsukino causes Kenji to sigh again, shaking his head. It has been years since his sister cut him out of her life... And for the longest time, Kenji was... Okay with that. She didn't want to see him, and he didn't want to impose on her...

But now...

Now when his daughter is hiding secrets from him, his wife and son are in the hospital...

Kenji feels more alone now than he has in years, and they say that time heals all wounds. Slowly, Kenji's mind starts to spin, thoughts and plans and ideas forming and building like puzzle pieces, and ever so slowly, a plot begins to form.

While Kenji Tsukino starts to plot on how to put himself back in contact with family long lost, Usagi's feet patter across a roof top, before the girl kicks off, the wind blowing through her hair as she soars through the air, the busying streets below just starting to fill with people heading into work. If there is any one thing about being Sailor Moon that Usagi adores more than anything else...

Well, actually, that would be the Vector that the powers have given to her. Direction and momentum that her life lacked before. Even in her head, Usagi can't help but grin as she uses one of the new terms she learned while preparing herself for her meeting with Alice in a regular sentence.

But getting back to the actual thought in her head, while the vector that her life was taking would easily be the thing she loves most about the powers and responsibility she has been given, and her friendships with the other Senshi (and of course, Naru) would be the second, then the third thing that she loved the most, the thing that she vowed to never let get boring is running along the roofs. The blur of speed and the whooshing sound of wind passing by her make the girl feel alive in a way that she really never had before.

Tucking her legs in, Sailor Moon lands in a roll, before exploding up off the rooftop with a mighty shove of a hand spring. Up, up, up into the air Sailor Moon soars, until she is stories and stories above the city streets. Spinning around, the girl looks all about her as she tries to find the best place to move to next on her journey towards the hospital. Eyes lock on the rooftop of a building blocks and blocks away. The girl locks her sight on the spot, her mind and soul and magic forming some kind of anchor. Having used the spell so often, she no longer even needs the incantation, and the world shatters, Usagi falling into another layer of the world.

It isn't even a moment before the fragmented under pinnings of the world restore themselves, and Usagi lands with a click clack of heels on the concrete stone of the office building's roof. There was another thing about how Usagi's life had changed that the girl hoped would never get boring, the sensation of stepping beyond the physical and allowing herself to see the deepest levels of the universe that scientists can only dream of.

That, and crossing nearly twenty minutes distance of the city in just a moment. Of course, having the power to teleport the way that Usagi does has it's own... difficulties.

Particularly the fact that her powers don't work the same way as they do for the other Senshi. Somehow, Usagi doesn't require massive amounts of horribly complicated math and physics and all sorts of things that go straight over the girl's head.

The thing is that if Ami wants to use her own Sailor Teleport spell, it requires so many extra steps that Usagi just doesn't have to deal with. Calculations of where she is, and where she is going, how they relate to each other, and even things like the movement of the Sun and the planets have to be accounted for.

Frankly, on this particular spell, Usagi can understand why the previous Sailor Mercury just used her computer to cast the spell, but... Ami isn't happy with just having the power to command space, no she has to do so as efficiently as possible.

Admittedly, Usagi thinks that the face that Ami makes when she is deep in thought is absolutely adorable. She scrunches up her nose in such a way that Usagi just wants to reach out and Boop her right on the nose. At the same time...

Landing on a rooftop, Usagi stumbles to a stop, before starting to look around, trying to get her bearings. Ever since Naru passed out doing... whatever it was that she did to Inuyasha's blade, the girl has been... ever so slightly different. Quicker to glance away from Usagi, quicker to pull back from hugs, and less allowing of even the slightest of accidental touches.

There is a part of Usagi that worries that she has done something to make Naru uncomfortable, or to make her friend unhappy with her. The girl doesn't know what it could be that she is doing, and she isn't sure how to fix things. At the same time, she doesn't seem to have any of the same reservations with the other Senshi, so it is possible that it might have something to do with that strange reaction towards the Moon Princess.

Usagi definitely hopes that it is the latter, because she doesn't have any idea of how she would even approach talking about the first. Though... If it is something having to do with the Moon Princess, then the best chance they have to deal with whatever it is would be Ami and the Mercury Computer.

On the other hand, if it isn't something involving Magic, and instead has to do with something else... Something to do with her, then having someone else with her when she goes to ask Naru about it might help keep things from being awkward.

It could also make things worse, but...

But letting it fester, leaving things alone, letting things stay like this. That would be the worst possible choice that the girl could have. What if things just kept getting worse and worse, leading to Naru cutting Usagi out of her life?

Usagi would hate that. So whatever is happening, magic or not, it'll be for the best to get it out in the open. Of course, that just leaves the question of when to do such a thing. Leaning against the edge of the railing atop the building, Usagi clicks her communicator open. A few button presses, and Naru's communicator starts to ring. After a moment, there is a click as the other side answers the call. "Yeah?" Naru asks, her voice still tired, but clearly awake.

"I'm not waking you up, am I?" Usagi asks, her courage all but vanishing in an instant.

"Nah, I'm fine. What's up?" Naru asks.

Taking a breath, Usagi steels her courage. "So..." Usagi begins, "I don't mean to pry, but you've been acting... different ever since we met Rei. Or... I guess more ever since you did that thing to Inuyasha's sword."

"Ah..." Naru makes a sound, "I... had kind of hoped that you hadn't noticed."

"Do you..." Usagi starts to ask, trying to figure out how to word her question. "Do you think it's Princess related?" She asks, and Naru is quiet for a moment.

"Huh." The girl says simply. "You know, I hadn't really thought about that. It might be." There is something else in Naru's voice, but Usagi can't tell what it is.

"Want to talk about it... Like.. Wednesday?" Usagi asks, "We could grab Ami and her fancy computer and see if there was anything before the Fall that might explain what's happening?"

"...Sure." Naru says, but her heart isn't in it.

"Hey." Usagi says quietly, "We don't have to if you don't want to. I don't... I just don't... I don't want things to be bad between us. You're my best friend. I don't want to lose that."

There is a sigh on the other end of the communicator, before. "Yeah." she sounds almost like she is about to cry. "I don't want to lose you either."

"...I've somehow made this awkward, haven't I?"

"Hmm... Oh, no!" Naru says, but she still sounds like she's about to cry. "I'm just chopping onions for ramen. My eyes are killing me."

"...Oh, okay." Usagi says, feeling like she might have been having a slightly different conversation with her friend than her friend was having with her. "Anyways, I'm off to go and try to save people!"

"Good luck!" Naru says, before she hums. "My compact spell makes gems..." she mutters, "I wonder what would happen if I used it on an onion."

....Ok. That was a statement that Usagi wanted no part of. "Talk to you later." Usagi says simply.

"See ya, Usa." Naru responds, and then there is a click, the conversation having ended. Hopping up, Usagi stands on the edge of the building, barely sparing a glance down at the ground, before her eyes slide out towards the sky line, trying to spot the Hospital.

Ah! There it is.

Once more, Usagi slides out of space, slipping between the world and the other that lays beneath it, before she slides back out. Unfortunately, it seems that the girl's aim was just a little off, and she slips back into the real world at a level that leaves the roof right at the halfway point of her shins.

Usagi pitches forward, hands snapping out to catch herself after she trips over the floor.

"No one must ever know." The girl says aloud, promising to never admit what just happened to anyone.

On Monday, Usagi makes her way back to the Hospital, a better plan in mind to try and deal with those effected by the Dark Kingdom, and potentially the Oblivion as well.

Standing on the roof of the Hospital, Sailor Moon has two different ideas of how to handle her plan to help individuals.

The first plan is much simpler, but it comes with the downside of not being able to distinctly tell how effective your work is, but it also prevents Sailor Moon from being found out by the people working in the hospital. And that plan is to simply move across the roof of the building, casting her Lunar Healing Burst spell through the roof and into the rooms below blindly.

The other plan is a lot more... personal, but has a lot more risk to it. Usagi's Disguise Pen gives her the ability to take on the appearance and skills of a particular role, so taking on the role of a Doctor or a Nurse would allow Usagi to move through the Hospital with impunity, passing through the different rooms of the Hospital and visiting the affected individually, which would make it possible to see the effects of the healing magic directly onto the patients. However, there is a non zero chance of people realizing that something is wrong, and identifying you are not a member of staff.

[ ][Hospital] Heal safely from the Roof
- Heal without putting yourself at Risk, but lacking the ability to see the specifics on how your abilities are affecting the patients
[ ][Hospital] Use the Disguise Pen to visit the Patients individually
- See the patients directly, and see how your magic affects them, but put yourself at risk of being discovered

A Meeting of Fire and Steel Part Final - Pluto Communcae
Update is about 2/3s done, but since it's not coming out quite as fast as I would prefer, here is the Rei bit from the last update that I forgot to put there.

[X][Com] Call the Pluto Communicator
Elsewhen, a Day ago...

Well, that is not entirely correct, Rei reflects as she stares at the spot where the hologram of Minako was for a moment. Slowly, the girl reaches up, tapping the button and reactivating the communicator. Scrolling across the hologram of the solar system (Somehow... Rei makes a mental note to ask Ami how a hologram could know where she was touching it) the girl taps the image of Pluto.

The hologram shifts and adjusts so that the last planet fills the whole of the screen. All of a sudden, the screen... Rei doesn't know a better word than hiccup to explain what she just saw. It was as if, for a moment she was looking at something completely different. A planet entirely unlike what the hologram is showing her. At the same time that that happened, the dot representing the communicator jumped moving from Pluto to one of the planet's moons.

Tapping the communicator's icon, the hologram changes again, a new screen appearing in front of the girl's face.
「Communicator Busy!」
「Call back l8r!😘」
Rei stares at the screen for a long moment, trying to understand how what she was seeing is possible.

"Busy?" Phobos asks, blinking from where the crow landed on Rei's shoulder. "How exactly is the communicator busy?"

Luna turns from where the cat was laying back, a baffled look on her face. "What? Busy? Who?"

"I tried to call that Comm signal on Pluto." Rei explains, looking at the signal for a moment, before she taps the screen, ending the call. "But I got a... Busy signal."

"That's..." Luna starts, "That's impossible. These things are great, no lie, and the battery will last essentially forever if they aren't in use, but busy, that would eventually drain the battery."

"...So the only way that this is possible is if someone where actually there. On Pluto. Awake." Rei says, trying to figure out what this means.

"Try calling them again." Luna orders, and Rei rolls her eyes at the cat, before clicking through the options and back to the planet of Pluto. She taps the button again, and...
8 + 10 = 18
[SUCCESS]
ROLL FOR E̢͍R̵͙͔R̨͈̟̫̺̯O̫̯̻̻̹̹R̢̰̰̲̩ PROC 1-3
5
[NO GLITCH]
「🙅I can't come to the phone! I'm...🙅」
「👏Washing👏 my👏 hair!👏」

Rei sits there for another long moment, just staring at the the screen and the very different message than the one that was there before."That's... Not the same message." Rei says, looking down to Luna's wide eyes.

"Someone is alive out there, on Pluto." The girl says, and there is a flicker, the message on the screen changing.
「🙅No!🙅 Pluto is an Empty Rock!」
「There is 😔No one😔 here!」
「I mean there! No one on Pluto!」
「No SPOILERS! SPOILERS NOT ALLOWED!」

Then, before either cat, bird, or girl can say a thing, the connection cuts off. And with a confused look, Rei looks over to the others in the room, who look back at her with the same look. "What just happened?"

Do What Ye Will, Harm None Part 3 - The Hippocratic Oath?
[X][Hospital] Use the Disguise Pen to visit the Patients individually

Taking a few moments to think over the two options, Sailor Moon comes to a decision. In the end, the ability to see the people she is working on, and the ability to manipulate and personalize the magical healing being used on them is worth more to Usagi than staying where she will be completely hidden. Not to say that she isn't planning on hiding, just not hiding in the same way.

Allowing the magical transformation to fade away, Usagi stands on the roof of the Hospital for a few long moments, the girl searching her pockets for the tool that she desires. Ah! There it is! Usagi holds the Disguise pen with a grin. One that is a little... fragiler than her normal grins. It isn't that Usagi is afraid of using the pen, but rather that she has a perfectly healthy amount of trepidation given the last time that she used the magic.

Still... Usagi shakes her head, before taking a breath. "Moon Prism Power," the girl intones, trying her best to ignore the way that her voice hitches. "Transform me into a beautiful Nurse who can move through the hospital with ease!"

The gem on the end of the Disguise wand glows, streamers of shimmering magic pouring from the device and wrapping around the blonde haired girl.

Usagi closes her eyes.
You open your eyes.
You blink, looking down at yourself, even as a small smirk grows on your face. A glance down at your hands shows a clipboard, with a number of different names, and a part of you whispers that these are the patients on the top floor, the people in the emergency ward that you are planning on healing.

How... How do you know that?

You turn your thoughts inward, eyes closing and taking a breath as you try and figure out what is happening, and who you are.

Well, that is obvious. You are Serenity Bunny Selene, a Nurse working here at the Juuban Second General Hospital. You can clearly remember so much of your life, and at the same time, there is so much of your life that you can barely recall, more a blur than anything else. Your teenage years, back when you went by the name of Usagi, how you were a bit of a slob and a lay about when you were younger, but during your high school years you grew into something more, finding a love for helping people, a desire to do anything that you could to make them feel better.

Somewhere along the line... You can't remember exactly when, it evolved into a desire to learn medicine. Then... You can't... No. You don't know what happened then. College, clearly, as well as medical school, but neither of those things are things that you can remember. However, it is in that moment of trying to remember, of thinking about why you are here on the roof that everything snaps together.

Oh... Right.

You aren't real.

That would explain the holes in the woman's memories, the gaps and the foggy bits that are more like...

Well, they are more like the backstory of a character that one would play in a game instead of a history. Usagi can recall the overreaching plot points, the things that were important and shaped Nurse Serenity into who she is, but not the specifics, the moment to moment. And that would be because that is exactly what the nurse is. A mask formed from the teenage Usagi, combined with... what she has to guess are the fragmented memories of being the Moon Princess from the last time that she used the Disguise Pen, and then papered over with the different ideas that Usagi has about being a nurse, and given a final coat of paint made from the magic of the artifact that somehow allows the girl to know and understand all sorts of different medical concepts and ideas.

Nurse Serenity is a mask, a persona.

However, just because you aren't real doesn't mean that you don't have thoughts and ideas of your own, a different perspective on things distinct from Usagi's. This tool is absolutely fascinating, and it has some very... interesting uses that Usagi has never thought of.

Such as transforming into a tutor in order to create a study plan for Usagi. After all, Exams are in two weeks. Your thought intrudes into Usagi's mind, and the girl scowls. Usagi is in a much better place than she was before, that is true, but that doesn't mean that she is excelling quite yet.

However, it is time to put all that aside, as Usagi came here with a plan and a goal, and it is time to start working on them.

You turn, making your way to the stairs. It isn't so much that Usagi gave the reins to you, as you...are Usagi, but at the same time, Usagi is Nurse Serenity.

You slightly adjust your nurse's smock, pushing a lock of blonde hair out of your eyes as you pull a key (Where did you even get that?) and unlock the door to the roof, heading down the stairs in the back of the building two stories down, before you start to make your way across the hospital to the elevator which will bring you around to the entrance of the Emergency Ward where the Dark Kingdom afflicted patients are waiting for your assistance.

Your heels click and clack across the tile of the hospital floors as you march forward, head held high and with purpose. As you start to approach the elevator, you hear a familiar, but distinct voice. The woman's tone is colder than ice, with an edge sharper than a Youma's talons.

"Excuse me?" The voice hisses, almost in the exact same way that Ami does when faced with a youma. Turning the corner, you spot a blue haired woman standing across from a tall, slightly disheveled man. Both are wearing the iconic white coat of Doctors.
The taller doctor has dirty blonde hair, and a slight hunch to how he stands, but his eyes are sharp, and there is something... Something about the way that he looks at the woman that puts Usagi on edge. "I said that my procedure has been approved by the Ministry of Health." The man says, and there is something about that way that he says the words that put you on edge.
"This is the same procedure that you have mentioned having before." The blue haired doctor confirms, "The same one that you refuse to explain to me or any of my staff, which you say will alleviate their symptoms."

The doctor nods, a cocky grin on his face. "The same."

"Which you have yet to produce any paperwork for." The woman responds, grinning back, even as the man's grin slips into a scowl.

"And I just said that my procedure has been approved by the Ministry of Health." The doctor reminds the woman, stepping forward. He stops slouching, putting himself head and shoulder over the young looking doctor. The blue haired woman's eyes are harder than steel, and she doesn't so much as lean back as the man glares down at her.

Instead, the woman just raises a brow, "Fine." She says simply, and the taller man's glare shifts to a smile. Then, his grin splinters as the woman holds out a hand. "Ministry Verification forms, Insurance Coverage, and Treatment Synopsis." The blue haired doctor demands. "Until I have at the very least Insurance Coverage, you aren't stepping foot into the Emergency Ward."

"Tch." The man growls, turning and stalking back down the hall. After a moment, the blue haired doctor sighs, shaking her head. Turning, the Doctor catches sight of you. "Yes?" She asks, arms crossing.

As if on their own, words find themselves on your lips, and the magic that created you bides you to speak. "Doctor Mizuno," you say, holding out the clipboard. "The list of Doctor Isoda's clients." ...Doctor... Mizuno? Now that you are looking at the woman, you can clearly tell that this is Ami's mother. You knew that she was a doctor, but you never really thought about how that would relate to this whole situation.

Doctor Mizuno nods, her visage softening as she looks at you. "Thank you." The woman says, "Could you go on up and inform the guards at the door of the Ward that Doctor Isoda is not to enter the ward until he passes the papers onto me?"

With a silly grin, you salute at the doctor, making the blue haired woman roll her eyes good naturedly at you. "Yes Ma'am!"

"It's nice to see that at least some of the nurses here still have a sense of humor." You enter into the elevator, hitting the button for the next floor, but as the doors start to slide closed, you hear a final snippet of words from Doctor Mizuno. "Ikuko Tsukino... Isn't that the mother of that girl that Am-" And the doors close, cutting off the words as you realize that somewhere on that list of names had been your mother's name.

"...That's fine. Perfectly fine." You try and reassure Usagi's lightly panicking thoughts. It is kind of fascinating how a major part of you, Usagi herself is in a panic, but you know that at worst the two moms will hit it off, so you aren't worried in the slightest. And since you are the mask that Usagi is using to move through the hospital, you are in control, which means not a hint of panic to be seen.

A few moments pass as you wait for the elevator to rise up, before the doors slowly open, and you step out onto the hall in front of the Emergency Ward. Quickly explaining the situation to the bored looking man, you make sure that he knows not to let Doctor Isoda in, before passing through the doors yourself into the Ward. Standing there for a moment, you roll your neck, a grin starting to rise on your face.

Time to get started.

You move from room to room, checking on each of the patients, first reading through their medical documentation to build an idea of what is wrong with them.

It is... strange. Thanks to being this form that Usagi created for herself, you are able to read through the medical jargon to understand the plain information beneath. For the majority of the patients, they are exhibiting symptoms of a coma. Big shock. But it isn't just a coma. In addition, for some reason that the doctors have been unable to discern, each of the affected are chugging along. Their bodies do not absorb as many nutrients as they should from IV bags, they require a larger amount of water than normal to hydrate, just... each and every aspect of the person, they are receiving less benefits from the things trying to keep them alive.

It isn't a massive uptick, but it is an uptick. On the one hand, that means that you might have to be a little more careful than just wildly casting your healing spells on the patients, because it is possible for them to develop negative side effects from the increased dosages, but that seems to be largely unlikely in most cases since there is such a close eye being kept on each of the patients given how bad off some of them are.

On your way through the first cycle, there are two rooms that give you pause. The first...

Shingo. Laying in a hospital bed, his face pale and clammy. You hate seeing your brother like that, it tears you up inside, knowing that he is suffering like this.

The second room isn't much better. Mrs. Haruna. Your home room teacher. She is still and thin, much thinner than she was before, and it hurts to see one of the few teachers who actually...

Who actually seemed to care. She always got on your case about your grades, yes, but she was the only one. All the other teachers were cold and dismissive of you back before all of this started, treating you like you were all but useless, and not worth the time to try and help. Mrs. Haruna on the other hand, she was always willing to listen and to help.

Well, now it is time for you to be able to help her! Now that you've made your first cycle through the rooms, you've not only got an idea of how you can best fiddle with the parameters of the spell (Something that Usagi knows how to do, yes, but with the Medical knowledge that this form has given you, you actually know what needs to be edited), but you also know where to position yourself to be able to get as many of the patients in a single casting as you can.

First stop? Your brother's room. Stepping through the door, you move out of the line of sight of the window, before channeling the power within you. 「Lunar Healing Burst」 You all but whisper, allowing the magic to billow outwards, an invisible wave that expands, shifting and flowing through the world about you, seeping into the pores of the people within the hospital beds. The magic shifting and adjusting their bodies, their cells, repairing the damage done.

You have been noticed
Slipping out of the room, you continue down the hall, taking a moment to check on different rooms. Already, your ears are picking up slight changes in the sounds of the machines you pass, signaling that the afflicted are already beginning to recover thanks to what you have done. Moving to the next spot, you barely need to take a step to move out of the line of sight of the closest camera, and with another breath, you draw on your magic, unleashing another burst that flows through the doors and the walls and all along this corner of the Ward. You glance through the window of Mrs. Haruna's room, and even from the far side of the door, you can see that the teacher's color is not as bad as it was, and her hair has regained a bit of it's healthy sheen.

Further you move, finding the center of the third corner. Amusingly, this turns out to be a closet, but that just makes finding the peace of mind to cast the healing spell all the easier, the energy spilling across more people. Stepping out of the closet, you continue to move.

This last corner of the Ward is the emptiest, having far fewer patients in it than any of the others, and annoyingly that does mean that you have to adjust where you stand, but it is a simple enough-

BANG!

You hear the door to the ward slam open. That shouldn't happen, not with the guards keeping watch outside. Hurrying down the hall, you move away from where you need to be to cast your last healing burst, heading towards the front of the Ward. You have to protect the patients.

There, standing on the near side of the door is the disheveled doctor, a scowl on his face as he glances back and forth. His hands are held up, shimmering purple rings filled with complex symbols, numbers, and lines spinning around his hands like some kind of... Well, magic circle. "You there!" The man bellows, the moment that he catches sight of you. "What are you doing here?"

This man is clearly using magic of some kind, and he wanted to get in here. More importantly, he is in here, despite the fact that your specifically told the guards not to let him in.

[X][Plan] De-escalate, but make sure he won't try to harm people here. Check on the guards, finish the job, leave without rising any more undue attention.

You look at the man for a long moment, "I'm healing these patients, 'Doctor'." You snap back at the man, and in the back of your head, you can feel Usagi start to panic. "I hope that's what you are here to do as well! Now what did you do to the guards?"

The man stands defiant, a glare on his face as his eyes quickly flick back and forth, on guard for something... anything. After a long moment of silence, the man's hands slowly start to draw back. The rings of glowing symbols and mathematics do not fade, instead folding and contracting, layering themselves over and over across the man's hands and forearms like some kind of glowing letter based gloves.

"What do your masters want with this place, Yokai?" The man asks, not answering your question.

You frown, crossing your arms. "I'm no Yokai, and you haven't answered my question."

"Hmm? Oh," the man waves a hand. "I filled their bladders and convinced them that it would be fine if they left their posts to take care of the problem." the man answers, "Why do you care, none of the surviving clans seem to care much at all for mortals."

"I'm not a demon." You say, stomping a foot in frustration. For some reason, that seems to convince him a little more than anything else.

"Then... what kind of tools were you using to give off such powerful magical-" The man stops, eyes going wide, and the loss of focus making the mystical gloves on his arms fade away. "Wait. You said that you were healing these people?" The man says, and slowly you nod.

All at once, the Doctor bursts into a sprint, dashing towards the closest door. Just as quickly, you break into a sprint of your own, following after the man. However, for all that he slouches, the man is taller than you, with longer legs to boot. He reaches the door first, entering the room.

By the time that you get inside, he is there, standing over the patient, those same purple ring floating around his hands. No... wait. The symbols and numbers within the circle are different now. The man's fingers twitch and move, almost like he is typing on some kind of invisible keyboard under each hand as they splay wide, moving up and down the patient individually.

There is a part of you that wants to just slam into the man, to push him away from the girl in the bed.. But every part of you screams that disrupting unknown magics is a stupid and terrible idea. Something that you should not do when those magics are being used on people.

"You are the one who did this?" The man asks, his tone clipped, but there is something... almost warm under the clear frustration.

"I... yes." You admit.

"What. exactly. was your spell supposed to do?" He snaps at you, and you glare at the man for a moment, before sighing.

You start to explain the specifics of the alterations you made to the Lunar Healing Burst, making sure to avoid saying anything that would give away the Senshi nature of your magic. The man's face goes paler and paler as you explain the way that you made it so that the healing effect of the spell would last over the course of a few days, helping to boost the patients' immune system and act as a buffer that would prevent them from suffering through the negative effects of the Mana Doping that the spell would cause.

"You..." The man says, looking somewhat torn between anger, awe, and trepidation. "Do you have any idea what you have done?" Doctor Isoda finally snaps at you, his hands shaking. Now that you've had the time to stare at the magical circles around the man's hands, you are able to tell that they are some kind of scanning spell. Something that will be giving him all sorts of different information about the patients' medical and physical status.

"I've healed a lot of people who were hurt by Demons." You say firmly, and the man laughs, nodding.

"Indeed." He admits, "You have healed all these people, but that isn't the only thing that you've done." Doctor Isoda says, "Every single one of these people are going through an awakening." He says, "Dozens of people who are going to find themselves with magical abilities."

"Oh." You say, not really sure what the problem with that is, and somehow, he seems to realize that just from the way you answered him.

"Oh? OH?" He snaps at you, finally drawing his hands back. "Is that all that you have to say? Do you have any idea what this means?" He takes a step towards you, his height easily head and shoulders above your own. "All of these people are a walking talking breach of International Magical Law! This could go so badly..." The man isn't quite yelling, but that might be because he sounds almost terrified now.

"If the Russian or Indians hear about this..." Doctor Isoda says, "I... I..." All at once, all the fight just... leaves the doctor as he slumps back into a hunch with a sigh. "Damn it."

"I'm... Sorry?" You offer, trying to figure out how to answer the man, but he glares at you, muttering something under his breath.
2 + 11 = 13
[FAILURE]
"Alright... I can fix this." The doctor says, more to himself than to you. Turning to you, the man glares at you hard, trying his best to intimidate you.

It doesn't work.

"You're going to come with me." Doctor Isoda says "Maybe if we get you to an actual spellsmith, then they can create some kind of... antidote to this."

Yeah. That isn't happening.

The doctor reaches out, but you dance backwards, towards the door. Doctor Isoda looks confused for a moment, before he glares at you further. "Please." He says, "Don't make this harder than it has to be."

"I'm not letting you do anything to screw up my patients' recovery." You snap back, backing away through the door. With a growl, the man brings his hands back up, the first set of magical circles coming alight around his hands again. However, the time that he wastes doing that is time that you use to start to run.

Thankfully, you are quite close to the front door of the ward, so you run that way, passing through the checkpoint as quickly as you can.

The stairs are closer, but the elevator is better for your plan. You try to think on it for a moment, but you can hear the doctor shouting behind you, so there isn't time to think. Just time to do. Pushing yourself as hard as you can, you run and run and run, heels going click clack click clack click clack across the tile of the hospital floor. However, as you run, you spot a door to a patient room that has an empty clipboard hanging under the door number.

A room that isn't occupied. Not quite as good as the elevator, but something that will work wonders for your plan. You don't have the time that it would take to skid to a stop in the kind of heels that you are wearing, and in that moment Usagi takes the reins of the body, leaping up into the air. She reaches down, grabbing hold of her heels and pulling them off in a single smooth motion. Landing on bare feet, you quickly grab hold of the door to the empty room, slipping through. From there, you step into the bathroom. You reach out, grabbing hold of a pen that doesn't exist, that isn't there.

And with a single motion the pen is capped.

Usagi stands there in the bathroom for a moment, the disguise pen in one hand, and a pair of heels a size and a half too large in the other. Carefully, the girl looks around before tossing the heels into the trashcan in the bathroom. Approaching the door, the girl looks through the window on the door, glancing one way and then the other before stepping through the door.

Doctor Isoda doesn't seem to be anywhere. Usagi isn't sure if the man has passed, of if he went another direction or...

Slowly, the girl tries to look as natural as possible as she moves through the hospital halls. After a few moments the pair of policemen who Usagi recognizes as the guards comes sprinting by, one with a hand on the radio attached to his jacket.

They are rushing towards the Ward. On the one hand, Usagi wishes that she could return to the Ward and finish the last of her healing work, but on the other, between the fact that she managed to heal most of them, the fact that the Magic Doctor wanted to create some kind of counter to the healing, and the hubbub that is going to be created from him forcing his way in... The Ward is going to be on high lock down for the near future, so there really isn't a chance to do anything about that.

Which means that healing anyone else is going to be a bust. So Usagi does the only thing that she can. She goes to go visit her mom! Hopefully doctor Mizuno isn't still there.

"Well aren't you adorable." Doctor Mizuno says, a cheeky grin on her face. "How in the world did you manage to pull my daughter away from a book for more than ten minutes?"

"I have no idea," Usagi's mom says, a grin of her own on the woman's face, "Up until a few weeks ago, you'd have to pay Usagi to even look at a book."

The two women laugh, and all Usagi can do is beg the earth to swallow her whole.

How one Deals with Loss Part 1 - A meeting of Muscles
[X][Chen] Do as Mousse asks, and ignore the challenge
"As such... Chen has failed the mission given to him." The boy gives a nod to Usagi and then to Makoto.

"After failing his first attack against the two of you, the fool brought the fight to the attention of the school district, an act that lead to your expulsion. When you went to the superintendent and spoke with him about overturning the decision, that lead to Chen's own temporary expulsion pending a further investigation." Mousse explains, "The investigation as it is has already uncovered Chen's training with one of my people. Now, Chen thinks that he can regain his teacher's favor by defeating you, Miss Makoto, in single combat. A laughable enough concept, even without taking into account the fact that I can feel the magic that you give off."

Both Usagi and Makoto tense at the boy's words, but Mousse just shakes his head with a sigh. "In essence, it will be in the best interest of me and my people if no further attention is brought down upon us, or in short, it will be to the Benefit of the Joketsuzoku if you do
not fight Chen in one week's time."
Monday Morning, May 4th, 1992

Halfway across Tokyo from where Usagi is at the time transforming herself into a nurse in order to infiltrate a hospital, Makoto sits quietly in her home. It has been a week since Chen challenged the girl. Today is the day that he expects to fight against the taller brunette.

And despite it all, there is a part of the girl that hates the idea of sitting back and doing nothing. Of ignoring Chen's challenge and the slight against her honor. Even knowing that it is more than likely a trap, there is a part of the girl that feels like this is the action of a coward.

Senpai wouldn't have run from a fight.

Makoto pauses when the thought crosses her mind, lips twitching down into something that isn't quite a frown. The brunette swore that she wouldn't think about... Senpai is gone. Unable to be the person that Makoto needed.

Yet... Time and again, those thoughts and those comparisons keep slipping back into her mind. Time and again Makoto compares herself to her Senpai, and every time the girl finds herself coming up short. Over and over she finds herself comparing the people around her to the person who ended up shaping so much of Makoto's life after the death of her parents.

It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair to the people around Makoto who she found herself comparing to Senpai. Be it Motoki's laugh, or Usagi's kindness. Ami's intelligence or Naru's cleverness. Each and every one of them she finds a way to remind her of the one person she doesn't want to remember.

The person that Makoto opened herself up to, offered everything that she had and everything that she was...

Only for Senpai to...

Before Makoto has a chance to allow that thought to continue its downward spiral, there is a series of sharp knocks at her door. Slowly, Makoto shakes her head, clearing the thoughts from her mind before she pops up to her feet. Crossing her apartment, the girl quickly reaches and opens the front door. "Yes?" The girl asks.
The first thing that Makoto notices is not the sculpted muscles of the boy's arms, or the pigtail in his hair. Not even the Chinese styled clothing that he wears. No, the first thing that Makoto notices is the way that even just standing there on the other side of her door, there is a part of the boy that is tense as a bow string. As if he expects to be attacked at any moment.

The second thing that she notices about the boy is the fact that in the light of the doorway, the boy's eyes seem almost to slit for a moment, before they return to circular pupils.

The third thing that she notices is the fact that she recognizes the boy. This is Ranma Saotome, the boy that Makoto knows best as the center point of the Nerima Wrecking Crew. A rag tag band of high schoolers from Nerima's sole high school that are rowdy and rambunctious, consistently getting drawn into some kind of mischief or madness. Which brings the question of what the boy is doing here, at her door.

"Ummm..." Ranma begins, "Sorry about this. My name's Ranma, you're... Makoto, right?"

"Yes..." The girl says quietly, her eyes carefully watching the boy. "What do you want?"

"You're the girl that... What's his name... Cher? Chap?" Ranma starts to explain, even as he stumbles over Chen's name.

"Chen." Makoto offers, and Ranma snaps, nodding.

"Yeah. Chen. He challenged you to some kind of fight today, right?" He asks, and Makoto nods. "One of my fiance's sisters thought it would be a good idea if I was around 'In case things get out of hand'." The boy is clearly quoting someone else, rolling his eyes as he does so. "Not sure why she thinks I'd be needed. You look like you can handle yourself just fine."

After a moment, Makoto sighs, stepping to one side to let the boy in. "Alright, I might as well explain all of this, but that will take a bit. Tea?"

Entering into the apartment, Ranma's eyes slip across the whole of the apartment in a similar way to how Mousse did a week before. "Green if you have any," Ranma says, nodding to himself. "So what do you think the deal is?"

As the water boils and the tea steeps, Makoto begins to explain how the whole situation started, with Chen attacking a random girl on her way to find a dojo in order to learn how to defend herself. How Makoto stepped in, and his reaction of going to the schools and lying about her having attacked him instead of what actually happened. How she and the girl who was attacked went to the Superintendent and managed to get the expulsion canceled, and then how the boy returned a week later flanked by two members of the Joketsuzoku. One named Mousse and the other named Ichiro.

How he challenged Makoto, setting the date for their battle for today. Finally, she explains how after the boy left, Mousse returned, wishing to speak with her.

"From what I have seen, that kid wouldn't be able to defeat the star of the Daitō-ryū Dojo..." Ranma says, a thoughtful look on the boy's face. "So why would the old bat choose that for the challenge?" He isn't really speaking to Makoto, but the girl has to raise an eyebrow at how familiarly he speaks of the Elder of the Chinese Amazons. Ranma shakes his head, one hand cradling his chin. "The old bat doesn't do anything for pointless reasons, and she's more than willing to say no if someone isn't worth it. So..." Makoto opens her mouth to say something, but the boy isn't paying any attention anymore.

"He wasn't supposed to succeed." Makoto says. Ranma starts a little at the girl's words, before he blinks, looking at the girl like she was crazy for a moment. Again, the boy's eyes twitch, and a grin crosses his face. "Ah!" He says nodding. "Of course, to see how he handles failure." Ranma says with a nod. "Something he would be doing a lot of during his time with the Amazons."

"Only he didn't even try to learn the lesson," Makoto explains, "Going after everyone who tried to approach the Dojo, in order to put it out of business instead of facing his opponent." Ranma nods slowly, "Which is why Mousse asked me to ignore the boy's challenge. He's bringing negative attention to the Amazons, and not in a way that they can handle."

"Well... if you aren't planning on fighting the boy, then..." Ranma starts to ask, "Why did Nabiki send me here?"
1
[Oh... Oh no...]

THOOM!

The entire apartment shakes as something large and heavy slams into the ground outside. "MAKOTO KINO!" Chen's voice bellows out, louder than the girl had ever heard him before. "YOU HONORLESS CUR! COME OUT AND FACE ME!"

Crossing the living room, Makoto glances through the window, before blanching a little.

The figure outside the apartment was clearly Chen, yes, but the boy was close to three times the size that he was before. It was not a pretty picture. The boy's skin was stretched taut, so taut that there were places where it had ripped, lacerations bleeding. It was like someone stuck a bike pump into all the boy's muscles, blowing them up as big as they could.

In many a way, Chen looked like he had stepped out of some kind of Liefield Comic book. The boy's eyes were so bloodshot they looked entirely red, and with every breath his massive chest heaved. Whatever the boy had done to himself did not look healthy at all.

"What the hell did he do to himself?" Ranma asks from next to the girl, looking down at the musclebound boy.

"I have no idea..." Makoto says, "But I can't help but think that the Amazons are involved in this."

"...So," Ranma starts, "This is your house, and this guy is here for you. What's your plan?"

The obvious solution is to just go out there and fight the boy. That is what he is here for, and what he wants. But... There are two major problems with that. The first is that getting into another fight with Chen could very well end up guaranteeing that Makoto's suspension will be upgraded to a full on expulsion. The second problem is that this is exactly what Mousse was wanting to avoid.

That thought brings another question to the forefront, and Makoto glances over towards Ranma. "You said that your fiance's sister suggested you come by?" She asked, and Ranma blinks.

"Yeah... wh-" He starts to ask a question, before his eyes slide back to the boy outside. "You don't think that she had something to do with this?" He asks, and Makoto just shrugs.

"Don't know her, so no idea. But it certainly seems like she knew something was going to go down." Makoto admits, and for a moment, the girl is first of all struck by how absolutely insane the situation is, and how utterly... mundane it felt to her.

Standing outside of her home was a nearly ten foot tall young man, covered in more muscle than two body builders put together, and at best, Makoto is annoyed that Chen is interrupting her day. She isn't particularly worried about fighting him. Admittedly, it would be a lot easier if she transformed, but Makoto thinks that she could probably defeat him even without transforming given how... unwell the boy seems.
Which all together gives the girl a handful of different choices.

So to start off with, there are three major options for the girl. The first is to go out there and face Chen. The second is to transform and have Sailor Jupiter stop him. The third is to leave and not face him at all.

Secondly, there is the question of what Makoto would have Ranma do. On the one hand, she could have him join in on the fight, but the idea of having him go out there and fight without her help doesn't really sit right with the girl.

Then there is the question of what exactly she has to gain from fighting the boy, and what she has to lose. On the one hand, fighting him has a chance of bringing down administrative wrath on her head. On the other, who knows what the boy might do if she leaves him alone...

Then there is the final question that comes to the girl's mind. Ranma. If she transforms in order to go out there and fight Chen, is she planning on letting the center of the Nerima Wrecking Crew find out that she is a Senshi? Maybe she could just say that she is going to get someone that she knows whose job it is to fight things like that? But she has no idea if the boy would believe her or not.

How one Deals with Loss Part 2 - the Most disappointing Round 1 ever
[X][Mako] Transform and fight Chen as Sailor Jupiter
[X][Ranma] Have Ranma go out and Fight Chen
[X][Excuse] Please stall him until I can call the Sailor Senshi, I happen to know some of them. Ten foot demons are their thing.
-[X][Excuse]Actually call as many of the others as you can before transforming.

Makoto stares at Chen for a long moment, before she sighs, the sound long and tired. Ranma glances over to the girl as she stares out the window. "Is it too much to ask to have a peaceful day?" she asks, and Ranma can't help but chuckle as he hears the girl's words.

"To be honest," Ranma admits, "I don't think I've had an actual peaceful day in... months now." Makoto glances over at Ranma when he says that, and after a moment she makes a decision.

Patting the boy on the back, she takes a step back from the window. "Good news is that I have some friends who can definitely handle this." Makoto says, "Bad news it that it will take them a bit to get here."

Ranma glances between the girl and Chen, back and forth, forth and back. "So what?" he asks, "You're just planning on sitting in here and waiting for them to arrive?"
MAKOTO - Convince - 3 + 8 + 4 = 15
RANMA - Doubt - 6 + 8 = 14
Makoto is quiet for a long moment, her hand against her chin as she thinks. Trying to figure out something that she could say to best convince Ranma that she isn't just planning on sneaking out and changing clothes before returning. Makoto knows that the magic of her transformation should protect her identity...

But Ranma is the head and center of the Nerima Wrecking Crew, and there are all sorts of crazy impossible rumors milling around about the group. From a girl who has the power to turn into a cat, to a Panda that knows Japanese.

...Then again, Makoto knows a cat that can speak Japanese, and she fights demons most weeks, so there might be something to those rumors, and she might want to look into them at some point. "No." Makoto says after a moment. "If I just stay in here, then Chen is going to bring down the entire apartment complex around my head. I like my apartment the way it is." she says, "It's where I keep all my stuff."

Ranma snorts, but doesn't say anything more.

"That means," Makoto continues, "That I am going to need to get past him in order to go and find a payphone." Left unsaid is the fact that Makoto wouldn't have the ability to do that unless someone stepped in to keep the boy busy until whatever plan she had came to fruition.

Ranma rolls his eyes. "And you need me to keep him busy while you contact... Who exactly do you know that you think can handle this anyways?" The boy asks.

"The Sailor Senshi." Makoto says, before she pauses and blinks. "Wait, weren't your fiancée and sister among the people at the Cinderella Caravan thing that went down where the Senshi were. I heard that Akane got hurt."

Ranma winces at the statement, before he nods. "Yeah... She's... recovering, but there have been a couple complications." The boy admits.

"I could see about having Sailor Moon swing by again and heal her. She's picked up a better healing spell since that all happened." There is a moment where Makoto wonders if she might have said too much, might have revealed too much, and for a moment Ranma stares at the girl, before he sighs.

"Yeah. That'd be great." He says, "She's really showing how uncute she can be. Driving everyone up the wall."

The two look to each other, and both can tell that there is something that the other isn't telling them. That the other is keeping back, but in the end, they managed to hammer out something akin to an agreement, which means that everything else can be put on the back burner for the moment. At least until the current bout of Nerima Madness passes by.

Opening the door, Ranma takes a running start, leaping out over the railing, falling down the two stories, and landing in a crouch upon the ground. "Oi!" Ranma yells out, "You're Chen right?" Ranma asks, and the massive boy laughs.

"Yeah, I am." Chen gargles out, his voice thick and heavy and a little wet. "You're Ranma, and I bet that like this, with this power that I have now, I can even beat you up. Then the Master would have to let me join his clan."

Moving out after the boy, Makoto quickly starts down the stairs, trying to keep from doing anything that might draw Chen's attention to her. Stepping around behind a wall, the girl clicks her communicator. "This is Makoto to anyone whose Comms are up and on." The girl says, continuing to move. "I could really use a bit of help right now. There's a guy who's ten feet tall and wanting to wreck my apartment."

[SUCCESS]
"I'm... sorry. How tall?" Rei's voice calls out through the communicator.

"Ten feet. He's huge. But there is clearly something wrong with him, his skin is ripped and he's bleeding all over the place."

"I've got a lock on your comms." Ami's voice calls through, "I'm kind of at the stove at the moment though." The girl admits. "Trying to make tapioca. I'll be at a point that I can put things aside in about five minutes, and once I do that, I can start using the Mercury Computer to go and pick up everyone but Usagi." The girl says, "Her communicator doesn't seem to be active right now, which is kind of weird now that I am noticing it." Ami continues, "Because I am both reading and not reading it. No idea what is happening there. I'll try and communicate with Usagi as soon as I can get a clear connection to her."

Continuing to move, Makoto nods, before remembering that without the holographic communications active, they won't be able to see that. "Cool." The girl says, "Hopefully this won't be as big of an issue as I'm fearing it will be." Hopping over the edge of the railing, Makoto drops down to the ground, slipping around the back of the building and away from both Ranma and Chen. "I'll contact you again if things end up turning out differently than I expect."

"Good." Rei says, her words clipped, but there is a hint of worry in her voice.

"Keep me updated!" Ami says, and Makoto feels her face start to warm, as the thoughts that she is trying to avoid slip back into her head. Closing the communicator, the girl reaches into her pocket, pulling out the Transformation Pen.

There is a brief moment where the girl wonders where exactly the Transformation Pen is when she isn't using it, since it never seems to be in her way when she is looking through her pockets, but it is always there, right at the edge of her grip. Passing off the thought as something to ask Ami about. A reason to sit the girl down and just taaaaaa

No. Makoto packages that thought up, throwing it into the depths of her mind, back where she won't have to think about it until some time later. Twirling the pen around her fingers, the girl lets loose a smile. "Jupiter Power! Make up!" She cries, her form being wrapped in the powerful magics that course through her body.

The flex of focus that it takes to shift the nature of her magic from electricity to gravity is less than it was before, and with a grin, Makoto just barely pushes off, landing on the wall, before running up. With each step, the girl's personal down shifts just a hair, turning what was once a sheer surface to a steep slope, before it flows all to way around to flat, and down to a downward hill.

With a leap, the girl soars up into the air, twisting her own gravity as she flows through the air, the entire world turning around her. Down below, she can see Ranma facing off against Chen... And of all things, Ranma looks... disappointed.

That, and bored. Chen growls, flailing out towards his opponent. Chen's hand slams into the ground with enough force to shatter the concrete, but...

It was like watching the boy move through water. Whatever Chen has done to himself has made him far stronger than he was before, that is true. However, it also make him so much slower than he was before.

Turning her magic downwards, Sailor Jupiter begins to fall through the air, before she quickly switches the pull, her clothes and hair fluttering upwards as her fall slows. Then, moments before she lands, her fall comes to a stop, and the girl anchors her own gravity to herself, leaving the girl hanging there in the air, hovering softly.

"AAAAHHHHH!" Chen roars out. "MORE DISTRACTIONS! LEAVE!" The boy bellows. "YOU AREN'T MAKOTO! WHICH MEANS THAT DEFEATING YOU MEANS NOTHING!"

That shows what the boy knows, Makoto thinks with a smirk, but she won't say something like that aloud, not when it would risk giving anyone here the chance of connecting her civilian identity to the Senshi of Thunder. "Just turn and walk away." Makoto says, her tone hard as stone as she looks at the boy. "I don't want to fight you, but I'm not going to let you rampage around like a wild animal."

"HAH!" The boy bellows, "I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY AND STOP ME! I AM INVINCIBLE!"

The only hint of a warning is a soft ching ching, the sound of the bicycle bell bringing a look of abject horror to Ranma's face. The boy dives to the side, and then from... Up?
A bicycle slams into Chen's head with enough force to crack the concrete beneath his feet. The towering boy staggers under the blow, as a girl with long blue hair casually flips over the front bars of the bike, twisting in the air, before slamming the whole of the bike into the boy's face, knocking him back a couple of steps. "你好爱人(Nǐ hǎo àirén)" the girl cheerfully calls in Chinese as she looks between Ranma, the floating Senshi, and the massive wall of muscle that is Chen. "What is happening, àirén?" the girl asks. "Who is girl? Who is man?"

"Really," Ranma says, taking the situation completely in stride, "I think I should be asking you that," he tells the girl, "Since this is apparently Mousse's doing."

"为什么我不惊讶?(Wèishéme wǒ bù gǎndào jīngyà?)" the girl grumbles in Chinese, before she makes a small hop, setting the bike to one side, and settles in a stance of her own. The girl does... Something, Makoto doesn't know how best to describe it, reaching her hands into her sleeves, before pulling out a pair of massive maces that she could not have fit in those sleeves in any way.

[ ][Chen] How does Makoto want to approach the fight with Chen?
