Well, yes, such a spell would basically amount to "shut down lesser youma." But I suspect it'd be a focused single-target spell as matched against the area-effect purification she can do with the existing spell.

Ah right. Yeah, I meant people who had willing been corrupted and thus were unwilling to be purified. That's a point. If there is a drawback like that, then it probably isn't worth it

Well, any spells we come up with in the near future are probably going to involve a tradeoff of some kind: thwack a lot of enemies with a little, or a single target (or a few targets, tops) with a lot. In this case, the thing we'd be doing the thwacking with is purification, but it's the same principle.

See also why Sailor Mercury's attacks tend not to do much direct harm; they are massively multi-target attacks that can affect wide areas and probably a small army worth of enemies all at once. If she had an 'icicle cannon' spell or something, it'd hit one enemy a lot harder- but it wouldn't hit nearly as many opponents.

As if there would be any other role for Sailor Mercury.

Hm, perhaps it would be best to deal with the shrine/bus scheme next, as it will lead to recruiting Sailor Mars.

As for Sailor Venus, she will come in her own time. The matter of Kunzite will not be resolved particularly soon, especially since Kunzite is the most powerful of the Shitennou.

She'll apparently also come if we can get Usagi and Luna to realize Usagi is actually the Moon Princess.
Maybe Ami can connect the dots for them when she learns each Senshi is a reincarnated princess of their planet.
 
Hm, one wonders why they have not already realized it, considering that the answer is practically staring them in the face. Sailor Moon, Moon Princess Serenity. As damaged as Luna's memories might be, if she remembers Queen Serenity and Princess Serenity, then the identical features that Sailor Moon bears to them should have already given it away.
 
on Usagi being the moon princess remember the identity of the moon princess is being hidden by magic to the point where even the enemy who would have met the princess don't connect the dots for a bunch of for all intents and purposes amnesiacs we'd need multiple crits to even being figuring it out.
 
Okay now that we have Ami there is something I would love for us to try next update. If her visor is capable of data transmission then is it possible to pull all of the historical information out of her computer and put it into a regular computer. The one thing that pissed me off in the show is that outside of investigation and battle they hardly made use of Ami's little device. Like Luna and Artemis both had damaged memories and needed to know more about what was going on, and hey look here is a device that has records of memories right on Ami's wrist. Maybe we should try to see what it could teach us?

I was thinking for a moment of Spymaster for her pure information processing capability. But the personality I am aware of would make a very poor fit for that role long term.

- Increases how fast Usagi increases her Stewardship up to Ami's own (10)
- Gives Usagi one additional Personal Action per Turn
- Every time Usagi's Stewardship increases, there is a chance of Usagi learning a new spell

We can cange her role later right?
