Hmm....
Ignorance and Delusion with a focus on isolation does sound fairly thematic to an aspect that Ling Qi has shaped herself by, and even made into her domain weapon. However its also something one of Ling Qi's abilities already covers. I feel like doubling down on it and making both the thief ability and the final song ability cover the same thing just renders one of them redundant and makes Ling Qi a bit one trick.

Hatred and Aversion with a focus on community is another good one. Taking the lessons which she just experienced with her recent tribulation and making war upon an enemies very aspect of communal belonging. Would be very damaging to the likes of the Ith who are all about community. That said, hatred is not something that feels very in character for Ling Qi.

Greed and Desire with a focus on Want....For the greedy girl this has potential to be the most thematically appropriate of the options. The only trick to it is that Ling Qi does not really think of Want as a negative so its hard so say how much she would weaponize such a concept.

Eh...I don't think theres really a wrong answer here as their all good in their ways, but im going to say Want since she has reflected on it not to long ago before her tribulation, and it would be interesting to see how that would translate.

I'll vote this one. There's two arguments for my choice. One is very reasonable, and one is very silly. Reasonable one first.
If Ling Qi can manipulate people's innate hatred/grudges, then she can generally double down on her role as 'Roving Disturbance Zone' and causing new kinds of chaos. Enflaming paranoia among the enemy ranks, making them lash out and waste qi by trying to catch Ling Qi, and so on. There's a lot of potential narrative space Yrs can use for this. I'm even curious to see how Ling Qi deals with the violence of a community, when people turn on each other. Small towns can be terrifying, I assure you.
The silly argument, now. If Ling Qi gets said ability, something in the vein of messing with enemy cohesion and discipline to further troll on people, then you realize what this means? Truly, only the greatest of Protagonists, a stalwart group of friends, can hope to overcome the Frost Flame Baroness! (potential name is for nobles to give Ling Qi after the whole......... getting crisped thing)

Isolation is how Ling Qi attacks, and how Xuan Shu defends. I also want to move LQ away from Greed as a core concept. She isn't really greedy. She has an unhealthy view of Want and I'd rather not fan that flame.

Plus! Ignorance and delusion fit really well into a key that might upgrade Phantasmagoria at some point. Lunatic delusions would be awesome.

Going with this option for a couple of reasons. First is that Ling Qi says in this chapter that she has a good understanding of Want but doesn't quite see the negatives yet. Through this lesson I'm hoping that Qi can learn a more well rounded idea of the concept.

Secondly I just think that the Concept description for Want fits soooo well to this kind of technique : "To want is to live, to grasp, to strive. At the foundation of every bond, in the root of every ambition, threaded through every movement of the world. Discern the deepest want in a soul, and there find the key to its understanding or undoing."

Finally Isolation is our blade yes but I also want to explore more of how other Concepts can be used as weapons and how Isolation can be explored in other directions.
