[ ] To let you both discuss some finer points liminal movement with a peer.

Definitely this one. We've barely had any exchange with a liminal traveler peer, with how rare the ability is.
The closest would have been the Zheng guy at the Summit, but there wasn't really any chance to compare techniques and understandings.
This is a great opportunity to see how LQ compares with someone superior to her but still in the third realm.

"Hmhm, well, you've obviously got something our mutual friend likes going," Luo Yaling shrugged. "Heh, you've certainly stolen this one out from under me."

Meng Dan rolled his eyes. Ling Qi chuckled. There was no heat or jealousy in the other woman's voice… or even any real claim. She was purely prodding Ling Qi to get a rise out of her.

Oooh, no overblown jealousy-driven romantic drama?
Seriously though, I actually think having someone "challenge" LQ in that regard would be a genuinely good catalyst for her.
It would push her towards being more active and taking initiative, instead of the waiting as several high-specs boys fight for attention situation that is going on now.

We're doing really well with communication recently, some movement pointers are more useful at the moment. Also, wind thief movement pointers probably lean nicely into dodge/evade, the perfect way to avoid getting hit/injured.

Speaking with a fellow Grinning Moon disciple on the finer points of movement seems like the optimal choice.

Does Luo Yaling have both of these skills and we're just choosing which we engage with? Or are we choosing what she's good at, period?

I do like the point that liminal travel seems like a rare skill, but Ling Qi seems to learn best from spirits.

I'd actually like to see a Luo perspective on spirit communication! They're the other Weilu Adjacent Clan, and also tied to the Hill Tribes. Absent more Alingge time, the Luo are the best source of information on non-Imperial spirit talking at the moment
