Absolutely on board with helping Ji Rong out. Renxiang doesn't need the details. At worst, Qi has to say "Hey, Liling is reeeeaaaall screwed up. We should do something." and if anyone wants to know how she learned this, Qi can always just say that it's secret moon stuff. She does secret moon stuff a lot.
Whatever was done to Sun Liling was totally unethical. Don't go turning your granddaughter into a blood druid, Shao! It's rude! And very much against Qi's ideas about consent and power dynamics.

That being said Shenhua has a wife to restrain how far she'll push unlike say the Bai who socially engineered their seconds into being individuals who don't question things.
Oh certainly they'll know if they want to know even if it breaks the lower realm cultivator, and that sort power disparity paired with none the human flexibility present in the 7th realm can massively twist 3rd realm cultivators who're lacking even a Name to protect themselves. There always being an active white to rule over the Bai, and by extension influence the noteworthy among the next generation seems like it was a significant factor in just how messed up the Bai got pre Sun Shao flipping the table in TL, which has given some among the Bai a chance at reform.

I think opinions are downlplaying how CRX is definitely not going to be completely okay with this. She'll accept it reluctantly, and I don't think she's going to like leaning so hard on trusting us with something so potentially huge. We have mostly earned it. Who knows? Maybe she'll appreciate the degree of separation from Ling Qi Chaos Shenanigans.
Plus it will be super tempting to want to ask advice on what we see, but maybe Ji Rong will make debriefing a little more of a discussion, depending on how metaphorical the dream dive gets.

I think Zheng Fu might try to play wingman for Xuan Shi, which is hilarious.
Sun Liling comparing the Bai to the Hui was a real good rhetorical swipe. In context, it also compared the Sun to the Cai, drawing on shared cred of rebellion in the face of deliberate mismanagement from one's lieges. A+
With things swinging into the Sun being prominent like they are (the Sun are highly relevant for both of our remaining professional actions of this turn) it's a real bummer we haven't got any info on the Jin, who are their largest/only Ducal allies. It's important to assessing how the Sun fit into things.
Edit cause I forgot a thing: I wonder if Ji Rong's sensitivity/awareness of the jungle stuff is down to his dragon bond? Ooc, we know the jungle has some kind of fixation on dragons. Could be that his bond distances him somewhat from the jungle's affection, enough for the perspective to see what's up.
