do you mean 1.5x or .5x? There is a rather large difference.

So our options are:
1. Less money but wipes the slate clean with the Meng (We where -2 with em, got em to -1 and this would bring us to 0. Tho there are subfactions here also)
2. Less money and ??? (only seen meme suggestions for keeping it so kinda meh to me)
3. More money
 
Yeah, this feels like a no brainer, our current position means we're not lacking for liquid resources, but a chance to buy reputation with a Count Clan that doesn't cost us somewhere else is priceless.

Because an Art has different value to different people so it's impossible to settle on a price for it.

But yeah, even beyond that, giving the Meng first refusal doesn't mean we're handing it to them for free, it just means we're getting it at a fair price instead of selling it at a distinctly unfair price thanks to auctioneers.
 
I'm excited about the breakthrough recipe. I'm sure Suyin would love to learn how to make something so rare, and looking for the ingredients sounds fun too. I also loved Meng Dan spending time finding examples of good ancestors to renew our interest in our roots.

I kinda suspect it's "get gratitude of upstart Ling clan" option for Xia Lin side. As for our noob clan establishing library is important.
 
My feeling is that this is probably a good opportunity to get general utility stuff?

More personal and specific equipment feels like it would be a bit off to get from this cache - should probably be personally built for us.

Something music-y for Hanyi or dream-y for Sixiang could also be a possibility?
 
I'm out of the talisman tinkering, I will let the math cabal do their thing
 
We just got a Perception Talisman before getting the choice of Talismans from a Hidden cultivator, which kind of sucks.

So we get the last Combat Talisman for one. We could get a Social Talisman for courtly occasions, are there and Combat/Social buff duos which are good in completely different situations so we can switch between them? A formation breaker, a formation maker, a storage ring (the ring?), Talismans for our spirits, some utility would be doable but where goes the line between a Talisman that needs to be equipped and a Tool that does not?

I'd like a scrying mirror. To use for RME, to enter, see into and communicate with the Liminal et cetera. Something like:

to switch out with our C. Perception earrings.

Personally not interested in talismans for Zhengui from a Hui stockpile. Just doesn't seem to fit very well thematically. Would be interesting to get Sixiang and Hanyi a talisman though and one general utility for Ling Qi (stealth talisman, scrying kit, formation breaking tools?).
 
I think it would do us good to think about binding people to us if we don't have any immediate need- something like a jade and heartwood prostetic arm, for moonbro, or sensor/spirit protection for those two sisters who used to be our bodyguards, or a protective thing we could give to turtle-bro to study, or even something good for our little xiao-bai kohai's boy? Maybe not that last, don't want little snek to think we are trying to split his loyalties...

Hmm, for Sixiang, mechanically something that boosts dispels is obviously the most useful as this is their main thing.

Fluff-wise though... something that enhances the ability to shift things in and out of Dream? Could be interesting...

For Hanyi.... +Health would be good to make her less squishy. Or maybe something that enhances control effects could be both in theme for the Hui and useful for enhancing LWM?

A social accessory would be pretty handy right around now!

As for Sixiang, some kind of Liminal Anchor could be neat, makes it easier for them to play around with the border between realms--be double nice if it gives us an extra free activation or two of PLR's groupwalk before the DR Fairy starts beating us to death.
 
Let's get talismans for our spirits, maybe a formation-breaking or scrying kit for ourself.

Hanyi recently got a dress, but Zhen and Gui need some swag.
