So glad we took the sympathetic option for appeasement to a gross fungal jelly fish. All it cost us was our baby boys ambition of a shining place of comfort and leisure for all his friends :cry:

Not really feeling up to chatting with Ji Rong. Don't really feel there is an good IC reason for Ling Qi to want to do it. Much rather talk to Xuan Shi and/or Bian Ya.

Looking at this vote from Ling Qi's perspective, it's tempting to vote for Zhengui. Much of her character development has been about learning to communicate directly and effectively with those close to her (reconnecting with her mother, Lakegate, etc.). If you combine this with Ling Qi's overprotective mother-like attitude toward Zhengui, it seems more natural for her to talk to Zhengui here than not. However, giving space for Zhengui to recover on his own is another way for Ling Qi to continue working on changing her attitude towards Zhengui, building upon the last chapter. They're also still in the middle of a mission which isn't the right time and place for a heart-to-heart, as Ling Qi should realize as well. Lastly, Zhengui might still bear a grudge against Ji Rong, so letting them interact now might be a bad idea after the ordeal Zhengui just went through.

I do think we should interact with Ji Rong, mostly since I like him as a character and because he seemed like he had something to say, which gives an IC reason for Ling Qi to talk to him (or for him to talk to her). Hanyi was also uncomfortable in this update and may feel upset that she hasn't been able to do much in this mission so far, so it's important to talk with her as well.

Edit: Changing my vote in spite of the above because I want Ling Qi to say at least something to Zhengui right now to acknowledge his efforts, and I'm concerned that she won't until later unless we include him in the vote.

I think Xuan Xi is concerned about what may have happened to us and Zhengui. He might be able to help us check on him to make sure he's fine. Hanyi too, is concerned. I think, if we all had to do a group support on our good turtle little brother, that has taken a bullet for us, childhood friend hanyi, ourselves and the Xuan boi would do well. ...it also gives Hanyi a chance to subtly suggest things to Xuan Shi and fluster him. Like: "So... when are you planning to ask my big sis out?" >:3

Alternatively, Sixiang is also someone we could get involved in our chat. She likely knows more about dreams and can tell us better than anyone JUST how much Zhengui sacrificed.
 
So, I know that there has been some thought into improving our art skill, and I have a thought on how to tie that skill with Zhengui, and we can likely rope Hanyi into it as well. And that is to work on a group, family, project on making Zhengui's garden a reality. Working on landscaping, gardening, and add some ice sculptures to get Hanyi's involvement as well. We are not very good at art, let alone planning a garden/landscape, but neither is Zhengui at the moment. So it can be a learning curve for both of us as we work together to make a beautiful garden that Zhengui's family and friends will enjoy.

It'll also be some fine practice with Zhengui's control of plant life as well as Hanyi's ability to more permanently freeze objects.
