I still don't understand the obsession with traitor geneseed.
Because it is useful for what we plan? I will say, I am surely going for Dark Angels on Horse Worls for maximum knight expy.
I know but it still feels like we are just going with the standard cliché for homebrew chapters of them secretly being loyalist traitors.Because it is useful for what we plan? I will say, I am surely going for Dark Angels on Horse Worls for maximum knight expy.
I think partially because traitor chapters fill certain niches that many loyalist successor chapters cannot fill.
And in turn Lorgar stoped Guilman from intervening in HeresyI think there is giant amount of irony of mixing Ultramarines and Word Bearers because a) they will spread Imperial Truth anr B) Gulliman and his sons were ones to destroy Lorgal's life work which started his path of corruption and becoming follower of Chaos.
Or the holy word of the codex Astartes. If someone doesn't like Ultramarines, then (to them) UM/WB Chimeric Chapter would be basically "Let's spread Word of our own Awesomeness" 😉
Ultramarines librarians literally manifesting faith effects from chanting out his codex
I mean true but in the other hand he needed to fuse himself with five other scary people to be roughly equivalent to Grimm. The oc bastard survived! Even after Grimm broke him in half. Will we be seeing our oc chapters go against the chaos oc's?
It helps that 40k is legit so big that even if both existed in the same timeline they could very well end up just not meeting each other regardless.I think that'd be more complicated compared to the OC warbands being in a separate timeline from the OC chapters.
Let the warbands roam freely and do cool stuff too.
