The Long Founding (Warhammer 40k)

I'm imagining a room full of clay sculptures of their enemies that they smash once they are dead. Making them to never forget who their most hated targets are, and smashing them to show that the vengeance has been fulfilled.

Something of a record of spite, a chronicle of anger, even.

Any place that sees regular presence of members of the chapter is full of pots for easy grabbing in case they need a little catharses.

I think the eye of terror thing was given by tumours of reality to fuck over Perturabo. His many issues come from seeing the eye and no one believing him about it. Well, he only spoke about that to Ferrus and he dismissed that...
Of all the Primarchs Perty chose Ferrus? For someone so smart he sure makes some dumb decisions.
so pretty bad but not as bad,no mutation, demonic possetion or instantly shatered mind.
Keep in mind that Perturabo is a Primarch and so can mentally handle things much better than even a Space Marine could. And even it still eroded his sanity.

I feel like the color scheme could use some workshopping. Going silver again feels a bit repetitive when we did that for the Dark Peregrine. Since this is Troy, a nice Sunset Orange could be good; heck with orange we can sidestep bronze. Maybe, go for Indigo or a cyan instead of more metallic colors?

That may be for the best. The reason I chose the colors was because they were the only one I thought of.

... I am having Flashbacks to the Jar Jail in elden ring... I could forsee interesting twists on the Gene seed implantation method if we were Blood angels.

Orange and Cyan is nice, gives a very earthy feel to them. Plus works good with their pottery and such

A revised version of my plan.
[ ] Plan Troy v2
-[ ] Chapter Name: Silver Shields
-[ ] Symbol: A Bronze sunburst upon a silver shield.
-[ ] Colors: Azure (Primary) and amber (Secondary)
-[ ] Creed: "This Far and no Further!"
-[ ] Entrenchment
-[ ] Heavy Weapons

I changed to colors of the chapter. I looked up what colors the Trojans wore and it was blue and yellow. Unfortunately, those colors are currently being used by the Ultra Marines. Thus, I went with a different shade of those colors.

I think entrenchment is a must for our current chapter since we intend for them to specialize in defense and the QM confirmed that it synergies with our current traits and combos. I see people talking about getting chaplains and I think that is a mistake. Not just because we already did that but because we do want them to be good against everything else besides Chaos since the point is for them to defend against all enemies of the Imperium mad best as possible.

I would say burn the Extra Equipment slot for this, this is the kind of thing you want the extra equipment for. Just for all plan makers, Extra equipment is one of the cheapest things we can get for our chapters.

One of these days I should post a teaser or two of some of the other legions legendary traits.

The Alpha Legion has one makes some of their hero units strong enough for people to mistake them for a Primach.

You have 3 guesses as to what they used it for in the OG and the first two don't count.

[] Plan: Shields of Solar
-[] Name: Adamant Shields
-[] Chapter Colors: Dark Orange Primary, Silver Secondary
-[] Chapter Symbol: Silvery Shield in front of Background of Burnt Orange shattered by lines of silver
-[] Chapter Creed: "Shatter Upon Us!"
-[] Entrenchment: The Chapter is better at erecting and maintaining fortifications than average.
-[] Heavy Weaponry: The Chapter is well supplied with heavy weaponry, and can field a larger proportion of Devastator squads.

@undead frog Is it possible for us to convert our 1 extra equipment into an extra training?

Been thinking and have some (honestly not great) guesses about the legendary traits for each Legion. Arranged in no particular order

Loyalist
Dark Angels - Lionel's killing intent. Disregard honor, learn to put entire worlds to the torch.
Ultramarines - Adaptability. They will never fall for the same trick twice and will create countermeasure for any scenario they experienced.
White Scars - Something about wisdom? The khan had some of the best reads on literally everyone and consistently made good decisions.
Salamanders - Master Craftsmen!
Iron Hands - Ferrus's drive to constant improvement, affinity for armored warfare or cult mechanicus relations.
Blood Angels - Being the most perfect and best Space Marines to ever live.
Raven Guard - Guerilla warfare wirh a side of 'the chapter never quite goes extinct'
imperial Fists - Dorne's rage, Fortification, and maybe space combat?
Space Wolves - Champion Hunting or affecting morale seem the most obvious.

Traitors
Word Bearers - Absolute belief in the Imperium and or eternal love of the eclesiarchy.
World Eaters - Empathy, teamwork, or just being the absolute killiest thing alive.
Death Guard - Incredible durability and general tirelessness, absolute hatred of the xenos and or psykers.
Thousand Sons - Psykers, potentially also a 'know your enemy' type bonus for fighting known foes.
Night Lords - Prophecy and terror tactics are the only options I see.
Sons of Horus - Befriending ability, tip of the spear actions, and or inflicting terror (again)
Iron Warriors - Spiiiiiite
Emepror's Children - Incredible specialization and a higher ceiling for average skill
Alpha Legion - impersonating anyone, absolute bullshit improv ability.
