The Long Founding (Warhammer 40k)

I think them making ale, meads and beer is quite possible...that is seriously going into the dwarf aspect. Actually, can we like to make how their armour looks? I mean the aesthetic of their armour and how they build stuff...I can imagine them being spiteful enough not to make stuff in Gothic style.

Becoming alcoholic to deal with the eye of terror, genius we don't need chaplains anymore!

Astarte 1 *slurring*: Brother can you still see the eye?

Astarte 2 *also slurring*: A bit.

Astarte 1: Me too, another round of drinks then.
space marines cannot get drunk their livers are too efficient and strong , the space wolfs are only able to pull that off by using a special plant that weakens or outright shuts down their livers and even then unless they pass out they will become sober within minutes as soon as they stop drinking as their liver catches up

the point is they CAN get drunk, they just need to drink something which will LET them get drunk, and it does matter if they get sober in minutes after stopping, it just means they just gotta keep drinking :V

[ ] Plan Troy
I like the steel champions plan but I definitely prefer having entrenchment specialty over chaplain specialty

the walls of the their fortifications are not filled with dirt or sand, but with alcohol metal kegs, and every keg they empty is added to the next layer of the wall, constantly making it thicker and thicker, they are very motivated to fortify the walls

@undead frog
[ ] Entrenchment: The Chapter is better at erecting and maintaining fortifications than average.
whose average would we be better than?
Just better than normal but it stacks withr other such traits.
It will suck to be an aspirant for these guys just imagine waking up with a hell portal after a surgery.
To put the sheer unlucky nature of this on display their was only a 5% chance of it happened.

To put other flaws in perspective the Black Rage and Red Thirst each have a 95% chance of showing up and Lamentors luck also has a 5% chance.

Good thing you guys also rolled legendary spite at the same time.

I want do steel champion route but I do want entrenchment I want to beat out the krieg
you do not out beat the krieg, you use them as filler for the new walls
It's actually a self reinforcing loop of hating Chaos because the Eye is always visible so they always Remeber to keep being mad at it.

Still this combo does let me do something silly I wasn't expecting to be able to do.

idea for future chapter, chimera geneseed of world eaters and iron warriors, get them eye of terror trait and endless rage trait, let them constantly angry at chaos, call them the Angry Marines :V

It's not guaranteed to result in alcohol or at least specific alcohol but I could make a list of copeing mechanisms and have one of ya roll with it to see what ya get.
Yes do that it will be great no matter what we roll, and if you are looking for suggestions might I suggest painting miniatures. It keeps you busy, inside, and away from looking up at the sky.

Ok putting up the cope table.
1: Brewing alcohol
2: Making chocolate
3: Carpentry
4; Reading
5: Writing
6: Weaving
7: Practicing marksmanship
8: Stone masonry
9: Bakery
10: Pottery

Someone roll a d10.

Pottery.

Guess we'd better hope no chaos version of Link shows up then.

Or just an elder version really.

I don't think these guys would be very happy with rampant pot smashing after all.
