that would be out of nightmaresMan imagine a Blood angel Iron warrior hybrid with legendary spite and black rage shit.
Funny enough there is a fan comic that does something exactly like this comic here.In other news.... have a small bit of my notes for one of the Black Rage traits unlocked by Legendary Gene-Seed.
"SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCKER I'LL CHASE YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH! SHOOOOOCKER!"
Not an actual quote I'd be using, ots more for me to get the 'feel' of the trait and found it funny enough to share.

We got a melee weapon trait already any melee weapon training it that isn't doubling down is legit a waste. Because a bigger skill level in one type is waaaay more valuable then diversity in melee skill.Given the whole blood association, using spears could be interesting. Either in the Longinus/Holy Grail or Vlad the Impaler direction, unfortunately, but that's the Red Thirst for you.
Yup its how Eternal Guard got ridicolous modsWe got a melee weapon trait already any melee weapon training it that isn't doubling down is legit a waste. Because a bigger skill level in one type is waaaay more valuable then diversity in melee skill.
Increased Lifespan? I though Astartes where ageless? Commander Dante looks old because he stopped feeding the Red Thirst. But I don't remember any instances of actually dying of old age.
It varies heavily depending on a lot of factors.Sorry about the double post but this came up a number of times Is there anything a larger number of apothecaries can do to mitigate the effects of the red thirst?
So I've been researching it a bit and getting conflicting sources. As in I'm getting some sources explicitly say one or the other. But most of the ones that claim they can die of aging are older. I'm assuming we are dealing with a retcon or just plain conflicting canon. Dan Abnett and Graham McNeill both make the claim that Space Marines are immortal (in terms of age). And I trust them. When not in a Dreadnought space marines can still die of old age before Dante the oldest space marine the live that was not in a dreadnought was this one Black Templar who died of Old Age he lived to around 2,000
Doubling out assult marines and devastator squads makes me worried we will have too few tactical marines.[ ] Plan Inheritors of Sanguinius
-[ ] Chapter Name: Angels of Oblivion
-[ ] Chapter Colors: Gold with Blood Red trim, Black helmet and Gauntlets
-[ ] Chapter Symbol: A Golden Eagle on white crying red tears
-[ ] Chapter Creed: "Keep our Father's memory alive brothers, We have his Wings, We have his Fury!"
--[ ] Battle Cry: "We Bring the Wrath of Sanguinius!"
---[ ] Battle Cry when fighting the Black Legion: "RIP AND TEAR!!"
2 Charges of Extra Trainers
1 Charge of More Equipment
1 Charge of More Terminators
Normal Training Options
[ ] Blademasters: The Chapter's Marines have honed their skills with the blade, and are among the finest swordsmen in the Imperium.
[ ] Marksmen: Even among Space Marines the marksmanship of the Chapter is top of the line.
[ ] Chaplains: The Chapter is blessed with more Chaplains than average among its numbers, and higher quality as well. Treachery and corruption will find it far harder to grow within their ranks.
Normal Equipment Options
[ ] Extra Assault Packs: The Chapter has a great number of Assault Packs, letting them retain a greater number of Assault Marines in each Company.
[ ] Heavy Weaponry: The Chapter is well supplied with heavy weaponry, and can field a larger proportion of Devastator squads.
Authors Note: Doubling down on the Blade and gun mastery, Chaplains to help with combating the Red Thirst, Assault Pack so every marine can fly and Heavy weapons to cause even more destruction. Let me Know if you guys have any change suggestions
Agreed the lore and the quest say two different things. Black Rage isn't much of the problem, so if were using canon lore we should focus on apothecaries to deal with the Red Thirst. But this isn't canon so we need a ruling on how docs and priests deal with Blood angel bullshit in this quest before we can finish our plans undead. For who were playing as this level of ignorance shouldn't be possible.@undead frog So Blood Angels and its successor chapters have Sanguinary Priest's as apothecaries and they focus on the Red Thirst while the Chaplains focus on the Black Rage. But both work together closely.
Given that fact I'd think we'd need to take apothecaries. But...

Hey The Librarian, Chaplain & Apothecary combo is pretty cool in my eyes. Though is it bad in yours?Fair point.
Yes more Apothicaries will likley indeed provide help on that front.
Weather it's worth the opportunity cost is up to you guys.
