The Long Founding (Warhammer 40k)

[ ] Power Chakram: An odd example of weapon design, the power Chakram is nonetheless a lethal weapon, both in close range and to anyone foolish enough to be hit by its thrown form.
[ ] Cauter Blade: A specialized vibro blade of intense cutting power, which the Techpriest showing it to you theorizes was probably made for usage against regenerating creatures by the Ancients. When the Cauter Blade is active, the middle of the blade becomes superheated to the point that both sides of the wounds it creates are separately cauterized, keeping the wound from healing properly and making it far more difficult to reattach or regenerate lost limbs. It does, of course, come with the price that enemies struck with it face no fear of bleeding out whatsoever.
[ ] Crusher Pattern Dreadnought: A strange take on the traditional Dreadnought concept, where the lower half of the body has been replaced with treads. This makes the chassis incapable of fighting in doors (for one thing, it can be defeated by a single set of stairs), but in turn the upper half is even more heavily armored, possess greatly enhanced weapons packages for its limbs, and even has a pair of massive heavy weapons mounted on each shoulder.
[ ] Rover Pattern Dreadnaught: A Dreadnought model on wheels, the Rover Class is far faster than just about any other dreadnaught type, without being much more expensive than the standard Castraferrum Pattern dreadnought chassis. It does suffer in difficult terrain in comparison to the basic or Crusher dreadnaughts, however.
Also these don't have costs listed QM.

[] Plan: Damascus Hands part 1
-[ ] Testing, Testing: The Forge World of Murphius is one of the greatest producers of bolter weapons and rounds outside of Mars itself. They are also constantly switching between the many different patterns of bolters that they have 'discovered' in their obsessive quest to discover the ultimate incarnation of bolt weapon technology. They want a Chapter to test some of their... newer rediscoveries. You wish you could be unconnected to these idiots some days, you really do.
Condition: The next Chapter gets the Randomized Bolter Quality trait.
-[ ] More Hunters: This chapter has additional examples of the Hunter heavy anti-aircraft vehicle.
-[ ] Potent Gene-Seed Charge: Some samples of a chapter's gene-seed are more likely to retain their stronger traits, and you have isolated such samples. 5 Points for each charge. Burn a charge to make the chapter roll for two traits from their parent legion.
-[ ] Adaptive Gene-Seed: Some samples of Gene-seed are more capable of adapting to different conditions on different planets. 5 Points each charge. Burn a charge to roll an extra planetary trait.
-[ ] Legendary Gene-Seed: The finest Gene-Seed ever recovered from a given legion. 15 Points per charge, Burn a Charge to add a legion's legendary traits to the roll list for that round.
-[ ] Extra Trainers: With some extra effort and yelling at a few more bureaucrats, you ought to be able to arrange things so the new Chapter is able to get in some extra specialised training before proper deployment. 5 Points. Burn 1 charge to get an extra training option. [x2]

My goal here is to use that planet neighbouring the 2 forger worlds to fix both Sons of Gorgon and to maybe broke peace between those forges thanks to our new politics training

idea, no spend points this time, choose a relatively easy mission like the ultramar one and just build up points to use for next turn for a truly legendary chapter

As people have brought up before might be good to make the next chapter a Blood Angel successor. If we do suggest we put them on the genetor planet with the Monkey King since that seems like it could lead to a medic/genetor specialized chapter. Which could be great since combat medics are great to have along with potentially preserving biological science before it starts getting seriously lost. They might also be able to help a other chapters with their gene seed issues, even if only a bit.

The monkey king bit also just seems really interesting with a lot of potential. Besides that if any chapter fits the theme of medic think it would be the Blood Angels.

We don't have access to Space Wolves gene-seed. I think even Grimm doesn't have time to even fix that stuff. That is why I propose to establish a chapter near Fenris to make sure that the apothecary who created that possibility will survive and ironically, it could work with Tzeentch's hunting request for the chapter.

[ ] Plan: like Keepers of Truth but for the democracy world
-[ ] Do as you will: You will not be taking any requests at this time.
-[ ] Extra Land Speeders: The Chapter has access to extra Land Speeders of various Patterns, granting them a more capable fast attack force. 10 Points.
-[ ] More Equipment: You've managed to secure extra equipment for a chapter. 5 Points. Burn 1 charge to add an extra equipment slot for the chapter.
-[ ] Extra Trainers: With some extra effort and yelling at a few more bureaucrats, you ought to be able to arrange things so the new Chapter is able to get in some extra specialised training before proper deployment. 5 Points. Burn 1 charge to get an extra training option.
-[ ] Extra Assault Bikes: The Chapter has access to more Assault Bikes than average, expanding their capability in hit and run tactics. 5 Points.
-[]Legendary Gene-Seed: The finest Gene-Seed ever recovered from a given legion. 15 Points per charge, Burn a Charge to add a legion's legendary traits to the roll list for that round.

I'm thinking either Rebellion Crushing or Inedibility, as a way to prepare for two of the larger future threats to the Imperium, increased rebellions due to the Imperium getting even worse over time, and the Tyranids.

Leaning more towards the first, due to the the majority of the Tyranids not arriving for a few millennium, and because having a Chapter of Space Marines early-on that can deal with somewhat justified Rebellions without just declaring everyone heretics would help set precedents.

Not really a fan of basing an entire chapter around maybe preventing one single thing. Especially since it may not even work since it involves a ridiculous amount of meta knowledge. Besides it seems extremely wasteful to spend so much resources on something like that over other interesting project's.

I would like to do one of the anti chaos gods requests just to appease the inquistion. I know they can't really act against grimm but they might decide to make his life a little bit harder especially after the keepers of truth just added more fuel to the fire that is inquisitorial factionalism.

I said it could work but not exactly needed. We can still establish the chapter near.

I'd very much like to try the Blood Angels or the anti Tyranid one but would also be find with the Ultramarine one.

Also wasn't Magnus attacking Fenris for the geneseed because it was pure space wolves not chimeric? Correct me if im wrong though.

In regards to the the anti tyranid chapter should point out that they aren't going to show up for something like 10 thousand years. So rushing to do that right away just feels weird unless there are other factors as well.

And if it doesn't making them for that one reason is just a huge waste. If we are going to base a chapter there that reason should just be a bonus. What I mean is that I think it would make more sense to suggest what kind of chapter to put there that makes sense that would also be fun to do in itself.

Night Lord chapter for the rebellions crushing
Death Guard chapter for the Indebile.
Emperor's Children chapter for the Cold Shower
World Eaters for the Spitting the Blood God
Death Guard chapter for the Purge the Unclean
Space Wolves (when we will actually get their gene-seed) for Bird Hunting
Iron Hands for the Testing, Testing
Space Wolves again for OP-4
And finally Imperial Fist for do what you will

[ ]Plan: Request and fun
-[ ] Aid to Ultramar
-[ ] Codex Experiments

-[ ] Extra Dreadnaughts
-[ ] Extra Land Speeders
-[ ] More Hunters
-[ ] Extra Predators

The 2 goals need to place a chapter near Ultramar, the second requires it to be Alpha legion.

If no one works furthe on this i will vote for any chapter placed near the SW

[ ] Inedibility: A recent battle against a hive minded species, with a rapid adaption rate capable of devouring other living things in order to rapidly add their biomass to a growing horde, has led to some... concern about would occur if a similar event happened and wasn't caught as early. Thus, you have been tasked with creating a Chapter based on a homeworld that such a species would find supremely unpleasant to try and actually take, as a precautionary measure.
Goals: Base a chapter on a homeworld with the (Indebile) tag.
[ ] Adaptive Gene-Seed: Some samples of Gene-seed are more capable of adapting to different conditions on different planets. 5 Points each charge. Burn a charge to roll an extra planetary trait.

I'm pretty sure it was mentioned that Ultramarines don't get chapter traits but instead get an extra planetary trait. I'm kind of interested in seeing what Adaptive Ultramarines with an Inedible homeworld would result in. However I don't think most of the Tyrannids are going to show up for a while, so I don't think this is a priority at present.

You don't have access to Space Wolves Gene Seed yet. It's absurdly unstable, and good luck getting Russ to sit still long enough for you to figure out a way to get the Canis Helix to accept a non Fenrisian. Hell, Guiliman can't get Russ to sit still!

Only one request a Chapter, I'm afraid.
