Me, sketching out a Guang helicopter:

"This is... distressingly normal."
(beat)
"Let me add tiprockets for emergency landing in case of an engine out condition."

Ngl that sounds like a deathtrap on a helicopter
It is a little, there have been a lot of attempts with the problems you imagined (I notably heard about an idea of ejection from the side which had the problem that the helicopter could lean on the blank and therefore one of the side was sent into the ground, or ejected from below but the helicopter could fall on the ejected or the blades chopped it), the final solution seems to be that of the Ka-50 who have a NPP Zvezda (transl. Star) K-37 -800 ejection seat, before the rocket in the ejection seat deploys, the rotor blades are blown away by explosive charges in the rotor disc and the canopy is jettisoned.
The thing is that helicopters tend to fly too low for a parachute to be useful or to be destroyed too suddenly so instead pilots are trained to crash land in the least dangerous way.

Yeah, this tip rockets aren't a great idea.

Honestly, you just have to make peace with the fact that there are portions of flight where an engine out condition means you're fucked, instead of adding a second emotional support engine and then running your twin engine helicopter at off design power.

Going single engine can be safer in some ways because limited maintenance time can be spent more effectively on preventing faults.

Good news everyone. I've made it both very elegant and very cursed:

Coaxial rotor compond helicopter, with a cyclorotor between the rotor hubs.

This just looks a bit like a drone you would find at a store or is that just me.

It's a very stylized drawing to show the basic idea.

How's that cyclorotor going to work if the main rotors it's sandwiched between are spinning in opposite directions? Or is it just not attached to the hub of one of them?

Yeah. We're using bearing-less rotors (using a flexible material to deal with lead/lag and feathering, like the H145), and electric servo flaps for cyclic control (blade pitch control is done by what is essentially a tail attached to the blade, like the Ka-Max and it's predecessor - well, they used mechanical linkages, so not quite the same).

That removes basically all the mechanical complexity from the rotor, and gives us space to play with around the rotor hubs.

Into that space we put a cyclorotor (also actuated with servo tabs). The cyclorotor and the lift rotors are geared together with a differential (ideally magnetic gearing to get rid of the oil system, but I'll have to math it), so we gradually move more and more power to the cyclorotor as we speed up while simultaneously unloading the rotors.

At low speed it means the helicopter is extremely responsive because of how the cyclorotor can vector it's thrust instantaneously, perfect for setting down on a ship in motion.

And because it's all at the rotor hubs, I don't have to run a drive shaft to a propeller somewhere else on the aircraft, like the various Sikorsky compound helos have to.

Edit: I've not looked at the issue of the cyclorotor ingesting turbulent flow tho, so I may have to move it, IDK.

I can imagine it now.

Grunt: Hey leader. We just got a delivery for some war heads?

Leader: What? Who is it from?

Grunt: From the USA military. I did not know post office had this much power and came all the way over in this direction.

Leader: That's it! We need our own super power mail service! Quick sign the papers and get my advisers ready!

Mail lost

I wish we could build something like the Dune Ornithopters. Would be patently unique having dragonfly aircraft. XD

It'd end up purely aesthetic though. I imagine theyd be a lot more vulnerable what with all the stress from the flapping.

Okay, not quite the question I was asking though, so let me try rephrasing it to try getting the meaning across more clearly:

Does that design have some kind of solid structural pole or other connection to the upper main rotor hidden behind the cyclorotor blades that is separate from the cyclorotor?

If so, there's probably going to be some inefficiency with the leading blade of the cyclorotor pushing off the air to move forward, which then impacts the structural connection and imparts a force pushing the helicopter backwards against the cyclorotor's thrust.

If not, then that design runs into the dual problems of having to drive the upper rotor entirely off of the cyclorotor blades, and that the cyclorotor will be rotating at very high relative speeds counter to one of the rotors it is attached too.

For the first, the amount of force needed to spin the upper rotor at enough speed for flight will apply it's equal and opposite force to whatever it's mounted on. In the absence of some structurally solid driveshaft or other anchor connecting it to the main body of the helicopter, that horizontal force will go into the thin aerofoils of the cyclorotor, which themselves don't have as solid a connection to either hub as they could have given their need to vary their angle of attack multiple times over a full rotation. I am not sure the cyclorotor can withstand that force.

For the second, the most common use of coaxial rotors on helicopters is that the two rotors spinning in the opposite direction of each other counter each other's torque and eliminate the need for a tail assembly to do that job. Because of that, whichever way the cyclorotor spins, it will be rotating in the opposite direction of one of the hubs it's connected too. If that's the top rotor, then that rotor will have to be driven with enough force to stay at a standstill despite the cyclorotor it's mounted on spinning underneath it, before adding the force needed to spin the rotor in the other direction fast enough to fly, further increasing the reaction force applied to the cyclorotor blades and their pivot mounts. If it's the bottom rotor spinning in the opposite direction, then the cyclorotor is the one that's going to have to be spinning fast enough to keep at a standstill even before considering how fast it needs to spin to provide thrust. And because it's attached to the upper rotor, the motor driving the cyclorotor is going to have to work even harder to do so because it's going to be trying to move the mass of the entire upper rotor hub and assembly geared to the cyclorotor. That's going to increase the power needed from the engines and motors significantly in order to overcome it, and probably wear down the gearing connecting the rotors and the cyclorotor that needs to handle those relative speeds.

This can all be handwaved away if we want to make it under mecha rules of "it looks cool," but then you might as well add back the tip rockets, and I'll probably throw together an ornithopter or a quad engine tiltjet cause I think it'd be neat.

Yes, there's a rotor mast in the middle of the cyclorotor with an aerodynamic fairing slapped on it.
That does mean that the cyclorotor is eating the mast fairing wake on one side, which may be a deal breaker, or may be a neat way to increase efficiency a tiny bit by effectively pre-swirling the air that hits the cyclorotor there (the cyclorotor can adjust pitch as it travels over the wake to get best results).

I don't get what you mean with the second bit tho? The cyclorotor spins independently of both lift rotors? Its attached to the rotor mast by bearings, and driven from a separate shaft.

"That's still boring."
"Then what do you suggest."
"Hang on, I think we can replace the landing gear with SL legs."

It's already retractable - it needs to be at these higher speeds.

BTW, the compound helicopter thing isn't just me pulling something out of my ass: A Sea King will fly far about 3.8 hours on an ASW mission, and spends about an hour of that diping sonar at the longest.

The ratio of forward flight to hover ends up favoring some sort of gyrodyne in this use case.

Alright, that's fine. The second part doesn't matter if there's some structural connection to the rest of the craft.

Just from the look of the drawing at first glance it seemed like there wasn't a mast between the two rotors with how the cyclorotor blade obscured it, and that the entire upper assembly was only connected via the cyclorotor itself.

I considered it for a brief moment and *maybe* it could be done if instead of a rotor mast you used some sort of stators inside the cyclorotor for swirl control, but it's complex and I don't understand the flows in a cyclorotor anywhere near well enough to give it a go.

"Hey, what if - instead of a helicopter - we just made rocket-packs for our Iron Tigers?"
"No, still too conventional. Iron Tiger hanggliders?"
"Maybe. Oh, what if we use ion propulsion? We could have 'feathered' wings glowing as they provide lift!"
"Ion propulsion doesn't provide nearly enough thrust-to-weight ratio-"
"-according to conventional science and engineering, yes, but those same fools would argue that a bipedal warmachine could never compete with a conventional armoured fighting vehicle. All we've got to do is apply our collective brainpower to the problem..."

~A few months later~

"Eureka! We've discovered how to manipulate the specific gravity of a given volume of space, using a semi-stable lattice of quantum foam! We call it 'element zero', because while it acts as an atomic element, it doesn't actually contain any protons!"
"... bullshit. I can see that you're floating, so evidently it works, but I'm still calling bullshit."

Just binged this entire story, and I'm in love. Looking forward to the next update with great anticipation!

I mean, you *can* do ion aircraft propulsion like that MIT plane with no moving parts, and there's a possible use case for it, but it really depends on the efficiency of your ionization source.

With the ever-present need for furniture to turn habitable spaces into homes growing by the day from an ever-expanding population with the means to buy them, orders are given to construct the industry required to feed the people's demands. Though in the large picture, not a critical need, the engineers and designers of Guangchou meet the challenge with enthusiasm and exuberance; the industrial portions readily hashed out and constructed while keen minds and cunning innovators traveled the country to collect information, requests, and demands, and more to compile into graphs and statistics that can be used to help in the creation of better furniture than is already available, alongside aiding those who are currently creation new forms of old pieces that are falling out of the zeitgeist of the people and growing generation. Among the people's most notable requests and desires is the demand to reflect the growing cybernetical nature of Guangchou within their homes, alongside general boredom with the current generation of furniture. While the old generation followed a "function above all" approach to its construction and use, many people expressed dissatisfaction with the looks, use, and lack of colors, alongside the ubiquitous absence of decorative elements that could be added alongside the "big-ticket items" of beds, tables, ovens, shelves, and so forth. Taking this into account, several concepts were developed to cater to these needs, not merely adding furniture with different styles but also offering decorative elements for the sake of decoration to the items that will be available for purchase by the people. Some may call this frivolous, but if we do not keep an eye out for fulfilling the wants of the people, then how can we be sure that we will fulfill their needs?

The binge of Guangchous naval designers went as you had expected. Given free rein to go at the problem of getting Guangchou a new model navy turned a relatively straightforward progress into a binge of absolute mania, with every design hitting your desk far more cursed, unhinged, and costly than the last.

The first boat, the Ultralight Surface Patroller Type 1, or Red Sun at Night (Sailors Delight), was as simple as it came. It was a boat to patrol the waters of Guangchou and nothing more. It was also cheap, so there was that.

The Light Surface Patroller Type 1, or Red Sun in Morning (Sailors Take Warning), looks suitably futuristic, and it also gives your ships the ability to solve the problem of modern recon assets generally outpacing ships by a wide margin while also being able to be converted into non-military roles should it be deemed necessary. And vice versa.

The Light Surface Combatant Type 1, called For the Tyrants (Fear Your Might), is the (current-gen) solution to the age-old problem of how to keep the number 1 threat to Guangchou away from its people and industry. With this ship, any fleets that see combat action will also be able to fight back against any attack by air with contemptuous ease, though you are sure that their captains will see such notions burned out of the minds of the sailors crewing the ships. They can take their jobs easy when they are back in port, not on the seas defending the workers of Guangchou.

Now...onto the aircraft carrier. The Amphibious Assault Vessel Type 1, controversially named Mother Anarchy (Loves Her Sons), allows the Guangchou navy to acquire experience with naval aviation without getting too much into the budget but offers abilities that would have been absent for the navy without. Overall, it is a solid design. If ambitious in scale and with two eyes solidly on the future.

But the bread and butter of the design competition was nothing other than the Nuclear Attack Submarine Type 9, or (Now Is The) Time of Monsters. You are not even going to pretend you understand what this thing is; the bullet points and summaries made by the people you have on staff to tell you what you are looking at when you don't do so for you. It is...ambitious, that is one word you could use. Utterly deranged and in need of someone to tell the working group that made it to not create submarines you need to develop several pre-requisite technologies (that they then produced themselves with help from other working groups in Mingxiang) to make this thing viable, undoubtedly. But also...tantalizing to have. Enough that you gave the go-word to look into the feasibility of starting production this turn by constructing the required industry and logistical tail within this 5-Year Plan.

An old woman dressed in a sailor's uniform slowly walks up the steps of the Naval Monument, one among a dozen similar ones, but one that personally held special meaning for her. Behind her, her son hovers with misplaced worry and overbearing protectiveness, trying to stay out of her ascent but failing utterly to not make her annoyed at his antics. She may be nearing 80, but she was not as fragile as he thought, or she wouldn't play with and watch over his daughters as she did. Then again, that was the providence of the youth: worrying about the older generations while the older ones watched with worry right back, hidden as grumpiness and scorn for their lazy asses.

Shaking her head, the old woman turned her gaze to the flickering flame in the middle of the sunken plaza, pictures and words arranged around in a circle as wreaths and offerings to the dead lay on the ground and at the walls. A bit more than she remembered, with many more people here than usual, but that was not so surprising. After all, the sunken fleet was not the only thing recovered when the current generation of sailors brought the old wrecks and her command from their graves on the ocean floor.

They had recovered nearly 67% of all fallen sailors, too, their ceremonies to be held in a week.

The old woman sat heavily on one of the rungs of the memorial to the 'Undaunted Daughter of the Swift Sea Serpent,' a quiet "oomph" escaping her before she continued to ignore her son's barely hidden fretting. Not that she had much choice, as memories started to bubble up, alongside old shame, of the time when she sailed out with the rest of the fleet into combat and doom, fire and fury in her chest, only to wake up a week later on the shores of her home, one arm fewer than she had set out with, with nothing but a memorial to commemorate those of her guys, gals, and genbies that sat at the bottom of the sea, instead of her.

Tears began to prick at her eyes as she once again remembered all their faces, dreams, and aspirations and how she had failed the one duty that all captains had: see their crew survive all that the sea throws at them.

Ranking of the most popular "Electronic Entertainment - Video Games" in the year 1982 in Guangchou:
#1 - Pong
#2 - Space Fleet 2500*
#3 - Aqua Base*
#4 - Minotaurs and Mazes*
#5 - Pac-Man
#6 - Shewolf of Ulm*
#7 - Clockwork Dancer*
#8 - Space Racer
#9 - Donkey Kong
#10 - Punch & Kick - Street Brawler

(*) Denotes Guangchou-produced electronic games.

Name: Space Fleet 2500
Description: Space Fleet 2500 takes place in the eponymous year 2500, where the player controls one of four fleets, each representing a faction. These are the insectoid K'lick that favors close-range engagements with scatter-shot kinetics and boarding craft; the Mrrr Luminosity, a plant-based species that rely on medium-ranged laser batteries with 95% accuracy but long re-load times; the United Councils, a humanoid species hidden behind heavy spacesuits who primarily uses fighters and missiles in long-to-medium-range engagements; and the Continuity, which uses plasma cannons for short-range engagements after softening their targets with long-range gravitic bombardments. The goal is not merely to defeat the opposing fleet in this turn-based game but also to fulfill a random (or set) goal, such as planetary bombardment, station capture, assassination of a randomly chosen ship, and survival.
Reception: Excellent, with many wishing there was more to do, such as customizing their fleets or playing multi-engagement campaigns.
Average Game Length: ~60 minutes.
Production Time: 114 Days.
Creator Group Notes: The sprites were murder on our artists, almost as much as the AI we had to code and lost on the last day. However, making the AI use the bare-bones structure for the factions works surprisingly well!

Name: Aqua Base 14
Description: The player is in charge of expanding and defending the eponymous Aqua Base 14 from underground horrors or old myth and new on a 2D plane, with a final boss (an ancient monster) awakening when all fourteen waves have been defeated. Though light in enemy variety (7 different monsters), the variation and need to adapt to their unique attacks and defenses keep things fresh and players on their toes.
Reception: Far more favorable than Missile Command, with the focus on non-human and fantasy enemies greatly enjoyed by people. The base-building has also been praised.
Average Game Length: 30-50 Minutes.
Production Time: 137 Days.
Creator Group Notes: There is nothing much to say. We got the inspiration; one of us was a major mythology enthusiast, and off we went.

Name: Shewolf of Ulm
Description: Playing the female werewolf "Sahra" during a fictitious siege of the German city of Ulm, the player is tasked with fighting against soldiers, looters, criminals, monster hunters, knights, and a Bishop in this side-scroller fighting game to rescue the daughter of Sahra from being burned alive.
Reception: Some complaints regarding the obvious connotations to the Lupi, but nonetheless favorable.
Average Game Length: ~20 Minutes.
Production Time: 64 Days.
Creator Group Notes: No, we are not releasing a nude version; stop asking!

Name: Minotaurs and Mazes
Description: The player is tasked with defeating one of four crises by taking command of three adventurers from a cadre of nine pre-made characters in this video game adaptation of the popular pen-and-paper game. Fighting to dethrone the Queen as leaders of a peasant revolt, push back an invading theocracy, banish demons rampaging across the lands back into their lairs under the earth, and kill an evil wizard seeking to undo the universe. Thanks to pre-attached side-quests to each character alongside a limitedly randomized map, playthroughs are suitably unique for a long time and allow favorite characters to be brought again but have a nonetheless fresh story each time.
Reception: Positive, but with notable complaints about the prude depiction of the characters, especially regarding Minos the Minotaur and Zeph the Serpent.
Average Game Length: 70~80 Minutes.
Production Time: 11 Days.
Creator Group Notes: ...none of us remember creating this game.

Name: Clockwork Dancer
Description: A basic rhythmic game where the player controls a clockwork doll playing to the instructions of its creator to the delight of an unseen audience to the tune of 12 songs. Points are given for acting in time and taken for failing to dance in time to the music.
Reception: Mixed. Some enjoy the tunes, while others complain about the "static and uninspiring" songs.
Average Game Length: ~5 Minutes.
Production Time: 94 Days.
Creator Group Notes: We learned a lot about the limitations of the systems we were given, and we hope to produce far better products in the future.

"Mine is underground; I literally can't! Enjoy the nuclear reactor, by the way. I have about ten weeks of sleep to catch up on before the engineers try to get me to greenlight plasma blades for the Mech-Iron Tigers.

"...plas-" Jungmin tried to say with rising interest, only to be hit in the face with a thrown pillow.

(A good way of improving quality of life without needing to produce too many consumer goods is to implement a program where people can borrow more infrequently used goods from a central storehouse - things like vacuum cleaners, specialized cookware, hand tools, etc. The libraries can also double as social and entertainment spaces by including television or radio, depending on the size of the library and the number of people served. These activities draw people to the library, increasing their familiarity.)

-[] Design A Native Sidearm (Describe) (Choose Any/All)
--[] Fateful Seal (Revolver)
(The Fateful Seal is designed as a top-break gas-seal revolver, using the Webley and the Nagant M1895 for inspiration. Research shows that as much as 26% of propellant gas escapes through the barrel and cylinder gap. Like more or less all gas-seal revolvers, the FS uses the cartridge case to seal the gap between the cylinder and the barrel. It uses a 13.2x55mmSR cartridge; the flat nose boattail bullet is 13.2 millimeters wide and 15 millimeters tall. It has a level on the right side, like the Webley revolver, and is used for the same purpose. Additionally, with the proposed 4.7-inch to 12-inch long barrels, the FS combines detachable shoulder stock, holster, and a 6-or-7-round cylinder.)
--[] Conscript's Friend (Cheap Pistol)
(The CF is a dead-simple integral box magazine pistol taking inspiration from the Steyr Hahn, the FN 1903, the Browning Hi-Power, and the TT-33. The FN 1903 provided the CF with its general shape and appearance, the Steyr Hahn, integral magazine and stripper clip guide, the Browning Hi-Power knowledge on double-stack magazines, and more modern safety features, and last but not least, the TT-33 gave the CF knowledge on simplicity. Cambered in an 8x40mmSR cartridge, the CF is designed to be as simple as possible while safely chambering its integral 10-round box fed with stripper clips. The handgun is supposed to be so simple that anyone who can rifle the barrel should be able to make the rest of the pistol with hand tools.)
--[] Spook's Squeak (Agent Pistol)
(The SQ is more or less a full copy of the Welrod except for its size and particular cartridge. With a total of 203mm in length, the SQ is chambered in the particular 6.5x30mmSR cartridge using a removable 8-shot magazine.)

--[] The Police's Friend (Bolt-Action Rifle with shotgun+grenade capabilities)
(The PF, just like FS, is meant to be used by police and rear line units and is a bolt-action rifle design taking inspiration from the Lee-Enfield, the Swedish Mauser, and the Fateful Seal. The Swedish Mauser provided the PF with its general shape, appearance, and stripper clip guide, the Lee-Enfield magazine and sling mounts, and the Fateful Seal gave the PF the base for its unique 12 g under-barrel revolver shotgun. The PF is meant to be able to use 40mm rifle grenades such as HEAT, HE, and Smoke, with the under-barrel shotgun supposed to be primarily used for riot control in police use and rear line units. Chambered in the same 13.2x55mmSR cartridge as the Fateful Seal, the PF is fed from a 10-round detachable magazine with a 25-inch barrel length and a 40-inch overall length.)
--[] The Militia's Friend (Cheap SMG)
(The MF is a crude SMG, taking inspiration from the Sten, PPS, Swedish m/45 SMG, MP 40, and MP 3008. The MF, just like the CF, is meant to be used not by the military but by the militia forces of Guangchou. The Swedish m/45 gave the MF its general shape and appearance; the MP 3008 gave the shoulder stock; the PPS, its knowledge of curved magazines; the MP 40, the safety features and sling mounts; and the Sten, its simplicity. With a fire rate of 570 rounds per minute, it is chambering the 8x40mmSR cartridge from a 20 to 30-round detachable box magazine or a 50-round drum with a 20-inch barrel and a 28-inch overall length. The MF is designed to be as simple as possible while still safely chambering its cartridge, and it's supposed to be so simple that anyone who can rifle the barrel should be able to make the rest of the "submachine" gun using hand tools.)
--[] The Soldiers Friend (Mainstay Select-Fire Rifle)
(The SF is a relatively simple select-fire rifle taking inspiration from the AVS-36, the Fedorov Avtomat, the BAR, and the FG 42. It is meant to be used by professional forces, not police or militia. The BAR provided the SF with its general shape and appearance, the FG 42, the operational and gas system, the Fedorov Avtomat, the magazine, the dust cover, the AVS-36, and the muzzle brake and sling mounts. The SF has a fire rate of 406 to 610 rounds per minute, chambering the 6.5x57mmSR cartridge fed from a 20 or 25-round detachable box magazine while possessing a 28-inch barrel and a 40-inch overall length. The SF is designed to be a reasonably uncomplicated weapon yet modern and meant to be the main arm of the military while still being cheap to produce.)
--[] The Guard's Arm (Costly High-Magazine SMG)
(The GA is a costly high-quality submachine gun taking inspiration from the Browning Hi-Power, the MP 40, MP 5, and the Conscripts Friend and is meant to be used by the secret service and the guards of various military-industrial and laboratory installations. The conscript's friend gave the GA its general shape and appearance, the MP 5 its action, the MP 40 the detachable muzzle ring, and the Browning Hi-Power the detachable double-stack magazine alongside modern safety features. The weapon has a fire rate of 457 to 800 rounds per minute, chambered in a 6.5x30mmSR cartridge from a 10 to 30-round detachable double-stack magazine or 48-round detachable double-stack drum. The GA is 457mm long, not counting the detachable shoulder stock, and has a detachable muzzle ring that can be unscrewed to attach a suppressor.)
--[] The Workers Might (Crewed Anti-Tank System)
The WM is a recoilless rifle design inspired by the Carl Gustaf 8.4 cm recoilless rifle and the German 10.5 cm Leichtgeschütz 40. It is an anti-tank weapon meant for service with professional forces. The LG 40 gave the WM its general shape and appearance; the Carl Gustaf gave it its hinged breech. The WM uses unique 152x305mmR shells capable of firing HE and HEAT ammunition.
--[] The Soldiers Arm (Mainstay SMG)
The SA is a simple submachine gun taking inspiration from the United Defense M42 and the M50 Reising, meant to be used by professional forces. The UD M42 provided the SA its general shape, appearance, and wooden foregrip, and the M50 Reising gave the sights and sling mounts. The SA has a rate of fire of 570 to 800 rounds per minute, chambering the 10x37mmSR cartridge from a 20 to 30-round detachable double-stack box magazine or a 50-round detachable double-stack drum with a 35.6 cm long barrel and an overall length of 61 cm.

(Right now, there's a wide variance in the effectiveness of your foreign intelligence agents, which suggests a need for more effective mentorship and information transfer from the more successful ones to the less successful ones. Formalizing a training program means institutionalizing the knowledge of your best agents (with a focus on industrial espionage in Japan) should go a long way toward delivering more reliable results. Of course, industrial espionage may not be as glamorous as the political and military games the CIA and KGB played. Still, it's easier and has a better long-term payoff for the nation. Furthermore, narrowing the focus to Japan due to proximity, an abundance of high-tech industry, and ease of letting your agents blend into the population allows us to get the most optimal results for the effort invested.)

(Guang is an unholy combination of Chinese and Japanese, with enough loan words from Korean and Malay to make up a non-trivial portion of the overall syntax and more exceptions than English. It's written with Hanzi characters that often don't match their Mandarin counterparts, and never mind that the grammar and word construction don't always line up. Even before the systematic destruction of the island's infrastructure by the IJN air raids, literacy in Guangchou was among the lowest in the Asia-Pacific - mainly because the language was simply a massive headache to learn. Ireland is in deep trouble, wracked by unrest, strife, and economic despair. While technically in the camp of the EU, dangling very generous Economic and Industrial Aid in front of them could bring them over to us...and if that doesn't do it? Well, they do have a revolutionary front fermenting within their nation...
-[] Freedom's Cry (+5 Reputation)
South Africa has long been under the yoke of imperialists, racists, and the West. It is time that those who fight against their tyrannical regime are armed and trained as befitting a people yearning to be free.
-[] A Red Rising (+7 Reputation)
Our efforts in South America are slowly paying off, with Liberation Theology spreading ever faster. If only some pushes were applied, then some countries wouldn't be experiencing unrest...but civil wars for the freedom of the workers. The current turmoil is beginning to boil over all over the continent. With a relatively cheap effort, the various movements could be brought into contact to increase their chances to successfully rise against the oppressors of the working class!
