That is a horrifying design, and exactly how I imagined it in my head after seeing the rolls for the US Gen1 mech. I am, unsure, how in the world they though that would be a useful mech though. Maybe it's meant to be an ambusher, burrowing into soft ground before popping up? Would fit with the sand camo.
