We need to take down the Zeti first.

And to be honest I'm getting contradictory explanations on the Zeti's powers. Is there a limited amount of troops they can control at once or no?

You do realize that you would also have to convince them to leave they homeland and fight in a foreign conflict they have no connection at all based on the vague promise of support from a foreign actor?

Also you would ask Corderlia to ask her people to also fight in a foreign war, the ruler of a nation that spend all it's 150 years of existence neutral and never taking sides. Heck one of the missions in VC1 was to stop a covert Federation operation to kidnap Corderlia so that they can force Gallia to take their side despite Gallia really needing the military help but still refuse a alliance.

Yeah I see your point though the circumstances are quite different here being that only parts of Gallia is here and has already been conquered. Desperation is a powerful thing, on their own against an entire Empire who else can they turn to?

I suppose it would mostly depend of the tier of the machinery.

Like low ranking to middle ranking badniks can fall into their hand with no trouble as seen on the lost world cutscenes.

Units like Metal and Rusty too unless you use too many units of the same tier to really mess with their focus as no doubt they need a lot more focus to even control multiple units on Metal Sonic tier as no doubt those would end like the metal virus people, they can control like 12 at a time, but any more without any power boost is hella difficult for them.

Manned machines are also there as we can just override any assisted controls to the manual configuration.

Each Zeti can control to a dozen or 2 dozens of robots individually.

With a Chaos emerald that skyrockets to hundreds-Thousands.
So if we forced a Zeti into a situation where they MUST be actively controlling up to their limit(like say, hacking control of the Badniks to our command), we could "safely" use Badniks and machinery against them?

That's...a lot more managable than we thought.

Still a problem yeah but we actually could field badniks without worrying about all of them flipping on us.

Even more so with the Conch or with the hack.

It's manageable true until you realize they simple can replenish they losses by taking control of Eggman's badniks in battle.

The Zeti in this scenario would be taking damage along with losing their Badniks. Either eventually the Badniks run out, or the Zeti takes so much damage they are either forced to retreat or are taken out.

It's not an ideal way to go about it, by no means. But it's not the worst idea for a defense against a raid attempt.

...They can't send more than one Hero unit at a time can they?

I'm a bit concerned they can just drown us it sheer numbers...

So they're mainly controlling the majority of Badniks through the Eggnet via Eggman's inbuilt infrastructure (transmitters, servers and the like)? Which would explain the wording to covertly regain control was a contested battle of wills, it's literally facing Zavok in a hacker duel… well Eggman on the keyboard and Zavok just thinking really hard.

Big Red himself could show up with another Zeti though.

You have to remember, he really doesn't like you.

So a attrition war, it could have work if we have a large force to sustain such war but uh we kinda don't.

He'd really take that risk huh?

Honestly, all the more reason in my opinion to aim for a good Hacking roll. Force them down to 2-4 dozen Badniks, while we regain a large portion of them.

Like if the Deadly Six have to choose between they little empire and Eggman's head, I pretty sure they would pick the latter. They really hate Eggman.

That's the Conch is a priority at least and hope that it can return in time for the battle.

Yeah, zavok himself would want to get personal with Eggman.

Like no doubt we are going to have a kaiju battle with the death egg robot.

Even then he knows he cannot leave this task to just anyone.

zazz gets too sidetracked with his rage.

zomon literally is a big punch of power and thats it.

zeena won't do anything without enough motivation and even then she doesn't like to get physical.

he would normally bring zik as he is one of the most trusted within the pack to get the job done.

that just leaves one and our probable headache alongside the red guy.

zor, probably the 3rd most powerful of the pack after zavok and zik themselves.

Make no mistake, despite his emo actitude if there is something zavok can count on him to do is make miserable another person.

And what better target to make miserable than the guy who actively tried to screw them over.

If both of the two already taken out are still down, Zavok CANNOT take risking more than one Zeti being gone from the territory.

...Right even with their hatred of Eggman they're fighting a four-front way. That limits the ammount of force they can bring-

Big Red himself could show up with another Zeti though.

You have to remember, he really doesn't like you.

Even taking this into account.

...

Alright so they can only bring so many Hero units since they have to protect their own territory...but their level of hatred means they'll bring a disproportiate ammount of force to bear against us regardless of the risks.

...

Conch+ Hack means we remove both the numbers advantage and their bullshit powers, and with how much they hate us they very well might overcommit...if everything goes well (which admittidly it might not) we might be able to decapitate the entire faction.

Though it's in our best interests to rig everything regardless.

about time someone figured out hat they can't control all your badniks at once. I won't telly ou what's the limit but you can make a situation where you field enough of them that he can't control all your forces.

...They can't send more than one Hero unit at a time can they?

I'm a bit concerned they can just drown us it sheer numbers...

That won't happen, we will make things fair. The raid will be hard but not impossible, if you prepare accordingly you have good chances of repelling Zavok. Trust, there's no fun if there's no win condition on a fight/situation.

Nah, remmebr its confirmed that Chuck made a virus that changed badniks programming to Obey zavok and the deadly 6, like Starline did in the comics, that way they don't need to use their powers on every badnik.

Yeah...he hates you A LOT. He is willing to risj the other factions attacking his unprotected territory whilke he goes himself to kill you, he will deal with the consequences akter once he smashes your skull.

Doesn't help zik is not really up and about to smack his student for taking such risk too.

He would berate zavok for trying to take such a risk.

But well he is probably resting on whatever medical facility Eggman makes.

His emotions are running high right now.

That blasted black hedgehog almost killed his master, zomon is still recovering yet from the battle againts Selvaria.

And just when he probably tough of kicking the black arms down for almost killing his master.

We literally went, sweeped and stole the kill.

To say the red guy is not happy would be an understament.

The zeti have a warrior like attitude from what we know, so kill stealing is like one of the greatest forms of disrespect.

We literally went and said, ''Hey red guy, I am right here, come and get me if you have the balls''.

Won't doubt he probably get a roll to avoid making any stupid desicion, but with a lot of maluses.

That's a possibility if you guys can play your cards right.

Might be a difficult situation but remember this guys.

YOU HAVE OPTIONS, YOU HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO GET ADVANTAGES. YOU ARE NOT IN THAT BAD OF A SITUATION AS YOU THINK.

Just plan accordingly and hope the dice doesn't give you the middle finger.

Please, , we won't utter you guys impossible situations with literal no way of solving them

Apt analysis, still, Reminder that Zavok cannot let literally anyone take command of the fort while he goes out himself to extracty rightious revenge.

I guess Hacking and the Conch are the right call in Turn 4.

OK, so conch finding building up the defenses hacking the egg net, making the death egg seems like our pretty go to actions so far and also calling back conquering storm.

We also need to deal with the whole gun waving the white flag
