It just goes in like that for a while. It seems like Uiara is there, but also not. Ellie doesn't think any power sets with her will work correctly.
1. Is Ellie in a timeless/extended moment?
2. Can Ellie try to call a selected person, and then back out/redact that choice?

...can Ellie use this event to check if some people are alive or dead/in a weird state?

Personally I'm in favour of doing a combo with HA I think, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention that theoretically any power mentioned in a canon omake whose owner died should also be fair game for this vote. I haven't read them all, so I don't know what's in there exactly, but I figured it's worth throwing out there.

Anyone noticed that Adamant, like his father Steadfast, had a power that was strongly defence oriented?

And Plasticity and Perspective both have powers relating to senses and boosting other people?

And both Red Huntress and Socialate Butterfly have powers that have touch activation requirements?

Plan Mental Out
-Seraph
-Shutdown
-Justicar

Actually wouldnt this work seraph and Shutdown to stop the clones and sb from using their powers/ giving commands.

Seraph and Justicar to control the clones to attack SB?

I suppose Handyman beating the fraud allegations can be considered a Christmas miracle.

Speaking of Handyman, can't he actually beat this?

"EDICT: ALL THINKING CREATURES MUST LOVE SOCIALITE BUTTERFLY WITH ALL THEIR HEARTS. PUNISHMENT: A LOSS OF ALL MOTOR SKILLS."

No.

"EDICT: ALL THINKING CREATURES MUST RECOGNIZE THEY ARE LOWER THAN DIRT COMPARED TO SOCIALITE BUTTERFLY. PUNISHMENT: A LOSS OF ALL SENSORIUM."

No, no, no—

"EDICT: ALL THINKING CREATURES NOT NAMED YARA OLIVEIRA OR KAITLYN ENGLISH MUST KILL THEMSELVES. PUNISHMENT: CONSTANT STIMULATION OF THE PAIN CENTERS OF THEIR BRAINS."
Transform into Yara, pump blood through any decentralized system instead of a heart, dig into the ground so he's lower than Socialite Butterfly and dirt. Then he just spikes Justicar from the ground. Shame he isn't near her though.

All people who we don't have the samples for and who can basically tell Socialite Butterfly to stop this shit instantly.

The Brass Shield, without his armor and in new pants, clutching a piece of his armor in his hands. His knees are visibly knocking.
That's our boy ! Funny how I hated him at first but he turned out to have Depths.
The floating arms. Palisade recharging her shields so quickly. Mr. Whaaa? making others unnoticeable. All expressions of their powers never shown before. All seemingly upgrades for their powers. You're weren't there before, but it sounds just like what you read about in Justice Unlimited's fight with—

Scarlet Maturity.
We should have seen it coming.
"I would study every night until my eyes lost focus! I practiced music until my fingers bled! I knew no other children my age—my only the harshest of tutors were my company. And they made sure I was perfect. If I missed a question on a test, I would be served rotten food. If I refused to eat it, I would be denied use of the bathroom. If I refused my lessons, I would spend days alone in a dark closet. And if I were to openly resist? Well . . . Father was fond of his rubber hose."
"Then, a miracle happened. Right before I smothered her, Harper woke up. But she didn't cry. She didn't scream. She didn't do all of the disgusting things children do. She grabbed my finger and giggled at me. Me."
Goddammit.
I can see why she turned out that way.
No child should have to endure this.
Let the Mysteries fight the inevitable war with the Hours. Apotheosis cares for nothing but its own time."
Who the hell are the Mysteries ??? Why do we keep on having to fight new guys ? The Hours are the Horae Guard methinks.
And is Apotheosis the people we've been calling the Philosophers or just a subsection of them since they're pretty dysfunctional.
"Lilith has been disobedient, but, for once, that works to our favor. She's looking for her sister too. You spoil that child."
Ten euros that sister is Moon River
It continues its search. In Horizon for certain, but where is she?
I wonder who "she" is.
Could it be Princess?

Maria signed and stood up. They placed their hands together, forming a box which she looked through with their thumbs and forefingers. Then, in a second, there was a burst of energy and everything changed. The area outside their table became desaturated and lifeless. Yu knew that someone looking into where they were would see the same thing. No sound could pass in either direction, nor could someone inside Cisma's area interact with the outside world (and vice-versa.)

For reference.

Jusyt finished reading...
BUT WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL!
Ok
Ok
SB is bullshit incarnate!
RSG, Astroloagian, SM (PRE boost) and JUSTICIAR?
What the actual hell....
That... that update is fucking killer...
White Hawk is an ass (as usual)
Good grief Mona is having a bad day (we need her NOW) (ALSO we nded more hammers... or a drill)
Also... Fucking A' Nora fucking COOKED with Dynamite...
Any ideas for powerset Fuck You?
Maybe something that can counter Justiciar a bit?

Justicar doesn't need to control the clones. Justicar can just make SB drop dead. The real one never did this because, of course, it would have led to multiple armies after her to kill her. But in this specific case a kill command aimed at one specific person that is actively doing the same on everyone within the same range...

Would Cisma actually work? I'm not sure how their power would intersect with Justicar's now that the edict is already in force.

First, thank you to whoever gilded the update!

huh hey QM can Qsayin answer the call?

Hey, @Bitterman dumb question, but I want to make sure we have all the options we can. Are there any dead supers that ellie would know about but never appeared on screen and she thinks might be useful.
I'm going to say maybe, but they don't come to mind for Ellie right now.
Very nice! I like omakes to support votes! +1!
Fill-in Issue #2: PREVAIL! — EXTENSION — 2
Aww, Marisa is being a mom! +1!
I have to wonder if Dynamite combos must be unique for each time Dynamite is used, which would seem pretty natural to prevent rolling out the same broken combo always. But for now I will I assume we are at liberty to use the strongest powers.
They must be unique each time, yes. You can reuse the folks in it, however.
@Bitterman I'm excited for the future conversations we're gonna be having with R-Train. Less so with the likely inevitable battle against the Named-Ranked Behemoth likely either by the shoreside or in the middle of the sea of goldnine, which is gonna suck. I hope the funny dialogue with the giant transformer make it worth it.
[Faint Offense: Megazord. Not an energon-guzzling fool dressed like a sedan.]

No gaming the system!
That is a very good point, we need to fight them until we kill SB.

@Bitterman, I have two questions:
  1. Do SB's clones stay around/do anything, after she dies?
  2. Would it be possible to grab SB's DNA to use for Project Prometheus?
1. You don't know.
2. If she dies and no one stops you from grabbing her, sure.
And is Apotheosis the people we've been calling the Philosophers or just a subsection of them since they're pretty dysfunctional.
The people you call the Philosophers are actually called The Hand of the Mysteries. Presumably, Hand is the leader with each symbol-subordinate being a "Mystery". "Apotheosis" is not being used as a name in this context.

Somethings to keep in mind:
1) The power you create and how she uses it will have a lasting narrative effect on Ellie.
2) At least four entities can sense what you're doing, including Valkyrie who is watching you directly.
3) Interesting narrative opportunities beget bigger rewards. Make a "I win" button if you want, but then you're getting the minimum. You will also, presumably need to fight two S-Listers and clones don't have conventional minds.

Eh screw it.
[] Plan: Narrative plus Shutdown
-[] Heavenly Astrologian

I dont think voting is on yet, and this had probably been recomended already. So lets go with this then.

I might not have been involved in the discussion here much, but if the QM is mentioning that who we pick has a narrative impact, then how about picking 3 members of Justice Unlimited? Not Nora since there's weird stuff going on with her, but any of the other ones seems like they could be narratively significant.

Hmm, now I'm debating between:

Apiary(JU's long dead member providing them help in this time of need) + Red Huntress(JU is fighting her monster of a sister) + Heavenly Astrologer(Even in death, her mum will help Ellie)

Red Huntress + Heavenly Astrologer + Justicar(Ellie has a really negative relationship with her former subordinate, the drama!)

Been suggested, most are unavailable. The combo would be Red Huntress + Apiary + Adamant.

...That actually might be a really broken combo, actually. Adamant turns the body a regenerating supply of material. Apiary is about turning other stuff into material she makes more bodies for herself from. Red Huntress transforms in relation to her enemies power.

Apparantly, the only ones we can use are Adamant, Apirary and Red Huntress.

Really? Were we told why? That seems like it raises a whole lot of questions since our only limit we were told is that they have to be dead.

EDIT: It can't just be Socialite Butterfly's clones, because we got Yazmin already (unless SB can make multiple clones of a single person).

Came up repeatedly when people asked Bitterman, and as I(and others? can't remember) pointed out a while ago, we'd been all-but-outright-told in-quest that they're "alive".
