So I have an idle question: how does the Solar Absorption fit into the Fundamental Force synergy? Like, I can see what the Regenerations and Transformations do for Autobiokinesis, and I can see how the various pieces of Force Fields work together, as well how Construct Creation would have fit in it, but Solar Absorption for FFM? I'm not quite getting it. Is it meant to be like a catalyst or something?

I imagine it is/it's acting as the bridge. Solar Absorption is a form of matter/energy interacting with another form of matter/energy and being transformed. So we have energy control, matter control, and an ability involving the interaction between energy and matter.

Because Stockpile is a stupid kid, the Questers have been getting a biased view of just how bad things are in America in favor of, "Oh there's a little bit of shittery and the Conservatives are in charge but America still stands for Freedom and Justice!"

Like, imagine if Valiant Red, White, and Blue was actually a Voter Suggestion (TM), with voters claiming that it'd be a Captain America situation where they'd stand for the ideals of their country even if the country at times abandons or neglects them, etc, etc.

And other Quest Voters going, "You realize Stockpile isn't actually American, right?"

That does sound like a very good idea.

My idea involving the whole Stockpile/Valiant justice negaquest, was that it started back when he joined Global Justice. The voters had a choice to join the various different Hero organistations, the voters picked Global Justice by a very narrow majority because some of the voters feared that the things that Justice Unlimited where reticent about would be deadly.

    Border Between the Kingdoms of Ever Green and The Shadow Lands

    Where did it go wrong? Was it during the initiation? Or perhaps when the curriculum was changed to be more combat oriented? No maybe it was when the war was announced… I guess it doesn't matter. Through the fields of ash and brimstone we now stand face to face with an encroaching army of fell beasts, monsters and demons, creatures born from the foulest dark; all under the employ of an alliance of the worst the realm has to offer. Various kingdoms have fallen under the banner of the Qliphoth Empire and their insidious god, The foul Leviathan. Throughout the Ages, many an Adventurer and Hero has clashed with the forces of darkness and prevail, but after the foul ritual, many of those same heroes are now indisposed... or worse. Great Heroes like The Archmage of Water Uiara and Her lover the Silver Paladin, felled within arm's reach, shielding the world from the foul beast grasp, Giants of steel Like The Adamant or The Huntress slain, eliminating threats that were once thought untouchable. Even The Titans of Arcane Knowledge like The Radiant master of Gravity and The epitome of Entomancy Apiary gave their lives so the next generation could prosper. And prosper they shall. Even when confronted with forces beyond compare like The Crimson Blood Lord, a Demonic Giant of unfathomable power, The Acolytes of Frost, and many others, they new generation has followed the path laid by their predecessors, and have not been found wanting.

    ???: And those are 5 more. The just keep getting uglier and uglier. Ugh, I think some blood got in my sickles, groooosss…

    The Figure that is currently complaining is a tall woman of almost 20 moons. Her name is Cristabel Steel the Orchid Bloom witch. A tall muscular figure with flowing pink hair, she is dressed in a mages leather and various witch accessories in order to empower her main magic, Entomancy.

    Entomancy or Insect based magic has been a long-standing practice in the House of Steel, Her Great Grandfather, her Grandfather, her Father were or are all practitioners of this seldom seen branch of magic, her included. Many look down on Entomancer's, saying that "Insect Magic" is inferior form of magic, those individuals are the fools. Others that have been the victim of it call it a Dark art, telling others of the horrors this mages can do in the battlefield. And others consider it a valuable tool for many reasons be it everyday life, battlefield control, or even in alchemical procedures (Antidotes and potions).

    ???: Well considering you just cut a bunch of minor behemoths to ribbons, you really should not be surprised Orchid.

    A new figure approaches the complaining mage. Tall with a vest chock to the brim of various potions and tinctures, shadowy constructs in the shape of animals following them.

    This individual is Menagerie, a potent practitioner of umbramancy that has dedicated her studies in the pursuit of summons. The "Menagerie Witch" is a solemn if sometimes sarcastic individual who traded her original name in exchange for power. Improving her umbral abilities by leaps and bounds, all in the pursuit of revenge and to protect those she cares for. The Orchid Bloom met the young witch during her days attending Beacon's Rest, the premiere Adventuring School in the world. There alongside other adventuring and hero hopefuls she studied and advance her own magic by leaps and bounds. Eventually forming a small groups of friends and acquaintances, mostly magic users, and most of those bonds have persisted years later.

    Orchid Bloom: Yeah, yeah, I know. But I usually slice with my arms so quickly that they almost never get dirty. I'm pretty sure some of the beast here have thicker skin and plating than usual, so that might also be a factor… I don't like this. This section of the border was supposed to be a weak point, and while its nowhere as bad as the frontline where many of the Strongest are stationed, the monsters here are far stronger than previously reported.

    Menagerie Witch: Hmm… maybe. My Echidnas have been pretty much taring my foes asunder, but they HAVE been taken longer than usual… think we should contact the rest just in case? Instinct's flaring up?

    As the Umbral practitioner mentions the word instinct, Orchid remembers some of the words one of the many mentors in Beacon's Rest have mentioned, specifically the Monk loved by the Storm.

    "Remember kids, you are here to become many things, be it adventurers or heroes. If your going to learn anything in the following years, let it be this" a rather beautiful Woman says to the ensembled class.

    "In face of adversity you need to have Valor in order to confront any challenge in your futures and have the wisdom of the Mystic's in order to solve said problem's. But when the chips are all down, when you have no more cards of your sleeve, when your Valor runs low and even the Mystic's wisdom fails you? Remember that you can always fall back on one thing. Trust your Instincts."

    Orchid Bloom: …Yeah, we probably should. Do you mind taking point?

    ???: I don't believe you will. This will sadly be your tomb.

    Before Menagerie could answer her ally's question they were interrupted by a cold and monotone voice.

    Quickly turning they saw a robed figure, unassuming at first, if it wasn't for the shear aura of     MaLiCe that emanated from them.

    ???: Its quite saddening… That accursed Kingdom just continues to delay the inevitable, sending more and more gullible lambs to the slaughter. Pathetic really… They have already lost; they just don't know it yet. Now come little lambs, let us take you unto the embrace of our lord.

    Menagerie Witch: Yeah, how about… FUCK. YOU! Sick' em Echidna!

    As the Umbral Chimaera roars and lunges towards the foe, the figures dodges the initial attack and grabs the construct by the throat.

    ???: *Sigh* They never learn. They always struggle when they should just… *Snaps Echidna's neck with a single hand* know that fighting is worthless. Now will you follow my orders little worms, or do I have to make a demonstration out of you and the rest of your allies?

    Orchid Bloom: In your dreams! Lets get this guy Menagerie!

    ….Uh… Menagerie?

    As she doesn't hear her ally answer Cristabel turns towards her and sees that she is frozen in place, just… looking at their foe. She wonders if her ally is being affected by some spell before she sees her smile. It is not a nice smile, too many teeth. And her eyes? Two circular pitch-black pools of VOID.

    Menagerie Witch: *Inhale* "Pestilence and Sick! For that, I'll tear off your di-"

    Christabel: Wait would Menagerie Witch even say that? Ugh… characterization is hard. She does seem to like to rhyme and is a little dramatic if the beginning of that interview is anything to by… maybe ill cut it here and then we can cut to the actual quest proper? Hopefully, I don't end up biting more than I can chew with this. Also I'm glad I made a different profile to @OrchidBloomOfficial. I'm surprised people haven't put two and two together yet…

It seems she has quite the hobby huh? I haven't started yet, but my next Omake is hopefully going to be a little crossover between the Entomons and The Dryad Circle. But that for later.     Is there a base in the OID?

    It use to be our other patrol zone and we have several missions we could do to regain control of the OID.

    Edit: I had another thought, Crusade brings up that we are an ex-con and they would have brought up that we suppodely woke up the Levithan if we were playing as Valiant Silver but what would they had said about us, if we were playing as Uiara or Raidiant Silvergirl?

    God though, I was really hoping for a hope spot but the sheer cavalcade of fuckfests that keep happening while our enemies escape scot-free almost every time continues to depress me. Hopefully we manage to fucking Nail Crusade on the whole "Seraph wasn't actually on administrative leave even though we claimed they were" thing, but I imagine they'll skirt past that thanks to the Philosophers infinite resources and Wolong clones or something.
     
    Our enemies are in advantageous position while were still trying to to equal them so makes sense.

    Honestly I think the Philosophers went all in on conspiracy is cause they knew without a doubt the majority of heroes would gun for them if they knew.

    Its only now hero pop in all time low that they willing to risk big moves we have to counter.

    Uiara would likely have a very different line going entirely, given that the video we saw would have had a hard ass time competing against Uiara going "what the fuck!? I never made that!"
