Prince Aladdin Quest (Disney Villains *Almost* Victorious)

Wait if our lowest roll was 64?

Oh. Bonuses. Duh.

Edit:

Martial: 188 (CRIT! NAT 100!)

They've come to save us!!! Hurray for Ababwa!!! Quick overthrow the nobles. We are all Ababwaians now!

Diplomacy: 297!!! (DOUBLE CRIT, WITH NAT 100 SECONDARY!)

Truly a fantastic hunt. Thank you for letting us know about it. We are deeply in your debt and will gladly aid you in any other hunts. So where do you want us to put the dragon? Oh... you didn't mean for us to capture it? Well... that's fine we can just donate him to the menagerie.

Xiang Wu: You have saved us from a terrible threat. You are among our greatest heroes. We shall be allies FOREVER!!!

Dreaded one: Well, I never thought mortals could catch me... I see you've got another dragon here. Well treated too. Tell you what. I'll join up with you guys willingly and be a hero unit for you. If you can't beat them join them.

Occult: 229! (CRIT!)

Oh, Aladdin! I was just coming to see you. I figured out my magical gift. I've apparently been blessed by Persephone to be one of her champions and she said I have a open invite to drop by Olympus and hangout for a bit. I can even bring guests. It could be a marvelous ADVENTURE.

Okay, did the Rival report rolls as well, since they were going to impact some things happening this turn. They were... interesting...

-Checks results-
Yikes. They got some high rolls and some really low rolls.

The really bad news (from Discord) is that the Southern Satraps got a crit.

Did we... personally attend either the Diplomacy or Martial actions?

I can't imagine our letting people effectively go off to war while we are lazing around in the palace. Especially when said actions may take place over several months. If we couldn't peel ourselves away, maybe, but we should have had time for at least one of them.

Well with Carpet's speed, we could easily meet with the Hunter's Guild and send correspondence (and potentialy a team from said guild) to Xiang-Wu in a short amount of time (we're ultimately just acting as the middle-man). As for the rest, it depends on how long Will needs Carpet for in the west.

Xiang Wu seems like it would be one of the weird little states on the Silk Road close to the Sogdians, around Balasagun or somewhere about there. Since it is strongly eastern cultured I just assume that China was a little more successful at holding the area as a series of protectorates back when there actually was a China. I wouldn't want to ride a horse or bactrian camel there but its not out of the realm of possibility considering half our territory is pretty much Afghanistan.

And the Northern Satraps are practically spooning our country. We are closer to them than some of our original territories.

And I remember correctly, you got a crit result for the initial Diplo action and then rolled a nat 100 when finding out the bonus for the action.

Guys, I have a cool idea for a defense for our territory. The cave of wonders sand golem.

It's still there at the end of the first movie, and Aladdin is still a diamond in the rough. It would be real cool if we could go back and use it as a research opportunity

There's actually a lot of neat things we could do with the cave. Learn how to replicate the animation magic, learn about whoever made it and possibly find other remaining treasure troves they left behind, or if we want a brute force single time quest, a magic heist if we find a way to escape when it gets pissed and a way to decurse the loot

Though going to the cave for most purposes would probably set off its defenses. It took very specific circumstances for us to be permitted in once and our simian sibling may have blacklisted us on top of that.

Of these, I am sad for the stars. Ai Iago go though.

Thinking on it, the crit almost guarantees we get a hero out of this, which with Leah gives us 5. sweetness.

Southrep getting a crit isn't end of the world though, just another potential ally to diplomance.
