Does that mean La can use him to turn the pridelands into the floodlands or whatever now that Genie has fixed the weather? Presuming she did something to him like she did to Tarzan.
d100+5 (Consolidated Holdings)-40 (The Facade Crumbles) Roll: 42 Result: 7
The Queen of the Jungle's grasp upon the land is no more! Something has broken in La's domain. The woman once able to shape and control vast armies of Leopardmen is now faced with the unthinkable. Rebellion. Her armies have shattered with hundreds of Leopard People reverting fully or partially to human form. Many fled the Jungle, trying to find any of their families that have survived. Others, especially those whose changes have only been partially undone, have banded together in small communities of their own. Some of the children that had been changed are exhibiting something similar to lycanthropy, becoming 'were-Leopards. And a vast majority of the adults are very, very angry with La. A small handful remain with the Queen, either her original retainers, or those who had been broken into her creatures totally. But even as La fights a losing battle against her former slaves, no one has seen the Queen's Champion!
Queen La has lost the traits: King's Consort and Acting Regent. She is no longer able to piggyback on Tarzan's Destiny and usurp his position as King of the Jungle. She now has a -40 penalty to all rolls as the land actively rejects her rule.

The Pridelands continue to flourish as the rain has revitalized the plains. And La's loss of control of her borders has allowed the Hyenas and Lionesses to range into the jungle for food, bringing back plentiful game that had proliferated in the absence of the predators that La had driven out. The young princeling has continued to grow, and while Scar is wary of the old ape, Rafiki seems to have taken an interest in the young prince.
The pair of Jasiri and Nala however have gone into seclusion, using chosen intermediaries to relay information to Scar whenever he desires a report. However the Black King, as some have begun to call him due to his mane's coloration, is content to allow things to continue as they are. He has secured his throne, and his lineage. And with Simba dead, what need is there to worry?
Shere Khan has pushed into the spaces that the animals have made for themselves, his intent to be recognized blazing brighter than any flame. He has razed several more villages and killed many animals that found themselves under his gaze. For now he is content to have had his authority re-established, though he still intends to kill the Man Cub that got away.
Kaa's own territory has not shrunk further, but the snake has had to go into torpor himself to wait out the lack of prey. Whether or not he wakes up to greater meals or an empty larder, no one can say at the moment.

Louie is finding that while taking a city was much easier than expected, holding it and supplying it is much more involved than merely going out and gathering an armful of fruit or snacking on some termites. The fires burn low, but they have not extinguished. And with La's loss of control of the Jungles of Africa, he's able to send out mercenaries by boat to get what resources he can't get locally.

Mowgli and Bagheera have managed to hold firm, the sightings of Baloo's spirit and the peace they had brokered between many of the animals helping keep the situation from deteriorating. However, a new wrinkle has emerged. The Man Cub seems to have fallen for a girl from one of the villages that respects the Law of the Jungle. There is a great uncertainty as to whether he will stay, or go, and not even wise old Hathi is certain of the future now.

The dynamic of power in China has shifted once more! In a daring raid, the Resistance, using gold supplied to them by an unknown backer, bribed some of Shan Yu's band to help lead the warlord into an ambush. They also had hired on the Pub Thugs as extra hands in the battle. The fight was brutal, but at the climax, as Shan Yu and Li Shang had met in combat, the Hun's fledgling Phoenix, flying high above, dove...
And landed upon Li Shang's shoulder! Seeing the physical representation of the favor of the Sky Father choose another, after such a long string of defeats and failures, was the breaking point. The fight left the Hun's spirit, leaving him easily subdued by Li Shang's men. The "Three Fists of the Gods" acquitted themselves well, and all who supported Shan Yu were captured in a complete sweep.
Shan Yu has been Removed From The Board!
While Li Shang has not declared himself Emperor, many are seeing the Phoenix choosing him as a sign that the Mandate of Heaven has found a new bearer. Lord Shen has been forced to contest this new wave of public perception, slowing his conquest of Southern China significantly. Shan Yu is currently being held in Imperial Prison, Li Shang having declared that the trial and execution could wait until the people were safe in their own homes again. Hundreds have flocked to his banner. Including a guilty-feeling girl, a horse, a cricket, and a dragon.
The people of Xiang-Wu celebrated long and hard after they received the news that their ancient allies, the Gummi Bears, yet lived. Many toasts were drank to Prince Aladdin and his court, and the traders passing through the lands found happy people willing to cut better deals than usual. Naturally this has increased their trade flow by quite a bit. The fact that they have also taken back the pass that they had lost two months ago to Lord Shen thanks to the shift in power likely has a lot to do with it as well.
Hades and his brothers have seemingly made peace with one another, but there are still four large elemental elephants in the room. The Titans are still free to roam thanks to their deal with Hades. The new King of Olympus however, seems to have a plan, one that Zeus agrees with. Unfortunately the Titan's wandering has led the various monsters that still roam Greece to relocate as well, leading to the Gods being forced to play monster wrangler more often than not.

Sisyphus seems intent on turning Florin into his new seat of power.
Morgana seems to have found a hint as to the whereabouts of the Trident that she is searching for, coming back from beneath the pack ice with a map tattooed on walrus hide. She has even gathered a small coterie of merpeople that are willing to help her so long as she destroys Ursula.
Sinbad is enjoying his marriage so far, he and Marina are currently honeymooning in the Mediterranean. There have been a few issues with a sea monster or two, but overall they're rather engrossed in their happily married bliss. His First Mate is currently running a pool on how long until their Captain has his own little ones running around, as well as number and gender. A pool that Tiana and Naveen both have placed their own wagers in. No one is saying a thing to the Pirate Lord and Lady, but it's highly likely that Marina at least has figured out what's going on and is expecting her own cut.

The EITC has found itself in a predicament. They have lost a great amount of manpower and vessels. As well as being humiliated by an ape of all things. But Queen La's hold on the shores has broken, and with Nemo dead the local pirates are now acting as independent mercenaries, willing to take the money from Louies' hand as easily as any other paymaster. However they still proudly trumpet the fact that Nemo is dead, and have stationed a Man-o-War on the site of the sinking; in order to keep any fools with magic trinkets or something else that may allow them to reach the depths the sub sits at bay.
The EITC will broker no other hand to take the sunken Piece of Eight unless it is theirs, in order to gain access to and influence on the Brethren Court. Until such a time as they can retrieve it, no other polities are allowed within miles of the site.
Nemo was very smug in his latest communications. Apparently he was the one that gave the Resistance in China the gold infusion to allow them to hire the mercenaries that helped subdue Shan Yu and his warband. His submarine is fully repaired and his crew well-rested. He is ready to announce his survival to the world, though for the moment he is respecting your request to keep quiet, reading between the lines regarding your implications about possibly needing his help.
Drago Bludvist's grasp of the seas continues to expand; the Viking Pirate Lord has been "appropriating" ships from other Lords, mostly Long John Silver as the Viking's "offer" of "join or die by dragon" unfortunately is very persuasive. Even worse, rumors are that Drago has discovered the egg of another Bewilderbeast. While it will take many years for it to reach the same size of the one that he has built his power upon, once it comes into its full growth it will no doubt allow Drago to even further expand his area of influence.
With the storm surrounding Arendelle reducing in intensity it has also allowed the Dragon Pirate Lord to further expand the number of settlements offering him tribute, though he has yet to be able to actually penetrate the ice wall. And rumors of contact being made between forces of Drago and the Horned King at sea have also begun to spread, picked up through Iago's network.
d100 - 10 (Jones in a Foul Mood) - 10 (Interfering Gods) Roll: 65 Result: 45
Davy Jones is in a foul mood, a far cry from the attitude he had shown merely two months ago. Poseidon's tour of the seas had brought him back around to visiting the former Psychopomp and having some kind of discussion behind closed doors (no matter how hard the crew members that were present on the Dutchman tried to listen in). Whatever transpired during this meeting was far less cordial than the meeting that had come before. Jones has the air of a man who has been given an ultimatum, after several lifetimes of being the one giving them. This has left the rest of the Brethren Court keeping their distance and their heads down, not wanting to attract their "King's" ire, volatile as it is on the best of days.
The stocks of wine and coffee that Ababwa have paid in tribute have been vanishing at a rapid pace as the Pirate King seeks to soothe his ire.
Even with the appearance of Egypt next door, Agrabah's fortunes continue to approve. The Sultan has officially appointed Ernest Robinson as the new minister of Trade for Agrabah, the Peddler's former apprentice doing his utmost to live up to his teacher's legacy. And succeeding by leaps and bounds! Not only have they made trade agreements with Atlantis and furthered their connections with Maldonia, but he's even managed to negotiate a solid and practically airtight trade agreement with Egypt that has Agrabah very much coming out on top, though it's at least partially due to the Egyptians making assumptions as to what trade goods were worth the most and which were worth the least.

According to Mrs. Packard, the Atlantians are currently preparing to attempt to release Princess Kida from the crystal that she's bonded to with the help of the Sundrop. Varian and Audrey continue to be almost sickeningly cute together (her words) and Varian's father has been making friends with the other members of the crew. He and Roarke seem to have especially hit it off well.
Egypt is suffering from slave raids from Lemuria and the EITC, now that they know the kingdom is present and weak. The EITC ships are able to power their way up the Nile and then back down far faster than the Egyptians can catch them, though the two High Priests have attempted to use their new powers to keep the raiders from escaping. Unfortunately they're still having trouble adjusting to actually asking the Gods for help instead of what apparently boiled down to being con men according to Iago's spies, so they weren't exactly managing it every time.

Maldonia has mobilized its forces, sending them to the aid of Lord Robin of Locksley, Prince Consort to Queen Marian. The scourge of the Horned King is one that must be addressed. Closer to home, the small dragon that had been gifted to Princess Eudora continues to grow rapidly, now much bigger than his technical "little sister" as he apparently refers to the babe according to Louis the Alligator. Princess Tiana has taken the young dragon in-hand and is teaching him how to interact with the palace servants so as not to scare them, who to go to in an emergency, and what is and is not permissible to set on fire. The last has proven that one virtue that the Princess has in spades is patience.

The death of Queen Grimhilde after her failure to secure the Sundrop during the attack on her palace seems to have been the match to light the fuses of quite a few bombs. Ones that Hans Westergaard finds himself seated squarely on top of. A great many of the kingdoms that were under the Mirror Queen's rule have declared rebellion, led by the Kingdom of Corona and King Frederic. With the loss of Dunwyn and the ogres that Igthorn provided, Hans is forced to rely on the Queen's Hunters, whose duties were more akin to that of rangers and scouts than a proper standing army. Will the new king be able to keep his throne?
Wow lot of stuff.
Leopard people is cool, I guess this is the chance for the Oasis Faction of Simba and Tarzan to storm the jungle.
China really is a soap opera! Who has the popcorn? The Hun is fully gone, Mulan is back, and it was our allies that helped cause it. It's funny that we've never touched China though.
I was fully expected the Hun to make a comeback, he's better at conquering than ruling though so I guess the pheonix caught on to that.
We need to make our move now. Lemuria is on the rocks and we don't want to make Nemo wait longer than is polite.
Hiccup and Dagur heard that Aladdin/The Sultan hate Jafar? It's a 50/50 whether they are relocating to Ababwa or Agrabah. Thanks for the allies Jafar!
Does Anubis like us? We did imprison the guy that made him mad...
It's like Maldonia is trying to become Disney Game of Thrones over there! 😆 Maleficent's true plan to burn their kingdom down!(jk the gift is perfect)
What I want to get involved with is India, but we have to go through Lemuria to reach it...
Mowgli you don't have to choose! Take her village into your faction.
Yeah, Phoenixes are symbols of rebirth and life. Shan Yu was caring for it physically, but it's spiritual side was slowly causing it to die as Shan Yu's actions were anathema to it. Li Shang on the other hand...
It's not about the faction, it's about lifestyle. Right now Mowgli is very much constantly on the go, moving from flare-up to flare-up as he and Bagheera keep the alliance together. Not something that he can expect a young woman to put up with if her beau is constantly away, especially in that culture where he'll be expected to provide for her.
Most of it is basically reverting to its state pre-Upheaval in that no one technically has the rights to it and it's no longer part of a specific polity.
Half correct. Long John is indeed a Pirate Lord. Re-read the sidestory with Varian at Shipwreck Cove when Drago was proclaimed the newest Pirate Lord. He ran into Long John, Smollet and Big Fat Bug-Faced Baby-Eating O'Brian. Literally in the case of the last. But yes, he's the Pirate Lord of the Caribbean.
Silver mainly keeps Facillier and Slim contained in the Gulf and enjoys the fruits of the rum-makers and other plantations that still inhabit the area. Much like Sinbad he's fine with the Status Quo and frankly is just enjoying himself. He's got what he always wanted, and much like Jim and his friends had aspired, they sail wherever the wind may take them. Also, having a crew of Muppets means that there's always entertainment to be had without needing to resort to all that messy business. The people pay their tribute, they get entertainment from the antics of the crew on shore leave, everyone goes home happy.
Drago: unintelligable roaring
Nemo: angsty organ music
Sinbad: bad puns
Hook: accompanied by musical numbers
Davy Jones: more angsty organ music
Blackbeard: shoots kneecaps
Maui: ...Actually has a solo. Also hakas.
Hook is amateur hour. And frankly Silver would put his crew against Hook's any day of the week. Having a flying ship just makes the fight a bit fairer.

Man, if I could even remotely justify it in-character I'd be campaigning to send a squad in to render his sleep more permanent. Either literally or euphemistically. Eh, if we do end up poaching Alice as seems to be the vague plan, maybe we'll unlock a Dreamer questline.
With the storm surrounding Arendelle reducing in intensity it has also allowed the Dragon Pirate Lord to further expand the number of settlements offering him tribute, though he has yet to be able to actually penetrate the ice wall
Huh. I wonder if Carpet could get a Hero team over it... Girl needs a hug. And also better advice than that given by parents who interpreted "fear will be her enemy" as "teach her to fear and never use her powers while bottling up all emotions" and then died at sea.

I wonder if we could offer Zummi's help. I don't know if the Book of Gummi would have any info on Dreamers, but Alices issues do seem like the kind of problem he specializes in. ie, esoteric magical threats that you probably shouldn't just murder.
