Man, imagine if a Norseman dropped trollmen in Christian lands. Or, well, anywhere that wasn't Norse lands. They'd wreck absolute havoc... since literally every Norseman is a psuedo-cultivator of some kind, trollmen are a manageable threat, but imagine tossing them into lands with mortals? They're around the same strength as mortals, yet breed WAY faster, so they'd be a proper menace. I imagine that the cultivators of other lands would be able to stop a trollmen infestation fairly easily, but it feels like there'd be a heavy toll in mortal lives.
@Imperial Fister, could I use my reward dice to get a hint on one of the things we're missing for ascension?
Sorry, I was in the middle of answering this when I got distracted.@Imperial Fister, could I use my reward dice to get a hint on one of the things we're missing for ascension?
If one wishes to have a healthy garden, they must keep it clear of pests and disease.
Uh... yeah, I have no idea what this could possibly mean. Did we bring over pests and diseases when we brought the plantlife into our Soulscape? Or is this more of a metaphorical thing...? Do we need to ensure the healthiness of our plantlife somehow?
I'm stumped, lmao.
Here's a freebie,
Here's a freebie,
You only actually need one of the so-called 'requirements' to advance to the next stage. You can advance without meeting the others, but it can lead to imbalances, stunted growth, or worse.

Someone else can do a deep dive into 9th/10th century cultivation though and see if there's any hints there?
