Hey, I'm back, what's-

*Sees that PR-9S is gaining considerable traction*

...I feel like I prompted that somehow. At least enough people are making the "what could possibly go wrong" jokes so that I don't have to.

Anyway, with the lead for the Devastation roll, I am calling that vote...and I hope you don't mind me saying, but I expected that one to win, so I maaaaay have rolled it earlier and held off on actually posting it for the sake of building tension like the asshole that I am.

Devastation Reroll: 53 + 10 + 20 + 23 + 2 = 105

A wise decision without question.

And as for the salvage and "other" rolls:

Coruscant: 88
Nar Shaddaa: 94
Taris: 45
Oracle: 65
Ord Mantell: 55
Dantooine 1: 61
Dantooine 2: 30
Corellia: 18
Mandalore: 57
Muunilist: 97
Arkania: 77
Bespin: 48
Lorrd: 14
Yavin 1: 6
Yavin 2: 64
Yavin 3: 56
Blackguard: 8
Fullsuub: 29
Vianists: 46

Most intriguing. We'll have to see how the Nar Shaddaa one plays out. I already know what the Muunilist one is going to be.

Doubling down on the hivemind suggestion. It sounds like exactly the sort of bonkers solution Cheriss would come up with on a supercrit.

Hmm...I think I can make that work. We'll see. But PR-1 will still need a "core body" nonetheless. People might get uncomfortable negotiating with a swarm of robot spiders as a random example.

I don't think anyone is surprised in the slightest.

Anyway the Chiss get their PK ship, one of the things slowly eating the galaxy is driven back, Sidious is pissed and now we just need to deal with Vos before Dooku can officially join up.

Also in the plan that won: Vos (getting drunk under the table with Grandpa Silas) and killing the Zabrak Sith Duo (done by Jango on Mandalore so he has plausible deniability).

I fully expect next turn (sometime in June, lol) that "Recruit Dooku" will be a thing.

I am, it looks a little immature for the Protocol Droid that helps out with the paperwork, keeps a track of the stock market and mixes our drinks.

We didn't get an actual list. She was one of those things mentioned in the "Nobleman and a Sith" interlude where everything else was mentioned.

He needs her gone to secure his authority over the Seperatist Council and via them the CIS.

This is probably a tired question, but are we ever going to have Ciaran master Blazing Chains?

I mean, we know her weakness is against massed ranged troops and it has amazing synergy with her preference for blasters...

And well Ciaran doesn't leave any Force techniques she's learned un-mastered.

True.

People are forgetting about Shu Mai. Dooku also wants her dealt with.
True. Though I wonder.

Was that on his list or our list?
Both, Dooku specifically wants her gone because she's the only person on the separatist council who'll challenge him now that Wat's gone.

I've got to wonder if the Seperatists were able to throw off the overwhelming power of the megacorps and set themselves up as a proper rival state to the republic would things be better?

That was in reference to the reroll.

As for immature...eh this is star wars, weren't both Padame and the Pantoran senator in positions of actual authority before they were even in their teens?

I get the feeling things in star wars are scewed...slightly.

Worth reminding folks that Shu Mai is more of a "when you get around to it" kind of problem to Dooku as opposed to everything else which fell under "these have to go one way or another."

He was quoting the part pertaining to the Devastator and not shotafying PR-1.

That was in reference to the reroll.

My mistake I apologise... need new blurb:

Devastation Reroll: 53 + 10 + 20 + 23 + 2 = 105

1) Ventress played the 'rumours of my death were greatly exaggerated' card and got the Super Tactical Droid running the ship to believe this is all Dooku's idea: to use the Devastation to secure allies with the Chiss Ascendancy. Thus resulting in the Chiss getting the Droid crew to help them out with the running of the ship in a great crusade to purge a horror in the Unknown Regions.

Actually Jabba deals with the B'omarr Order, who are brains-in-a-jar-attached-to-robot-spiders. Technically they're letting him living in their monastery in exchange for protection from hostile forces, in reality since they believe in cutting off physical sensations to ponder on the mysteries of the Galaxy, they don't need that much space and have secluded themselves in Jabba's basement to occupy shelves to go on 'mental journeys'.

God I love Star Wars.

"No one would negotiate with robot spiders!" "Well, actually, in an EU novel Jabba the Hutt-" "You've got to be kidding me."

You have to remember, this is a giant talking money-obsessed slug that decided to do it.

Somebody probably bet a significant sum of money that he wouldn't try negotiating with them. Or he realised that trying to occupy a fortress with a significant robot spider infestation is volunteering to take part in a horror movie.

Abyss Watcher Accounting Book

Okay, so, the biggest barrier to plan making is the base upgrades and finances, plain and simple. Managing our finances is a seemingly daunting task what with the massive list and myriad bonuses, even if the basics are moderately accessible. While @Void Stalker's spreadsheet is great for ROI, it's no true accounting book, which I imagine a lot of people would feel more at ease with having.

A few notes, as my spreadsheet wizardry skills are a bit rusty so this probably could be a bit more user-friendly, but so be it.

1) Watch the sums when you add lines. Make sure they stay synced, it can be a bit finicky. Tripped me up once or twice along the way.

2) Use the "insert cells and shift down" option, not the insert rows option, at least for the top part of the sheet. It lets you add lines on one half of the sheet without making gaps in the planetary totals side.

3) Yes, I realize that on the bases with no developments for that category, the sum function includes the gap cells. This is to make the sum function include a range, to make it easier when items are eventually added.

4) The income bonuses (except the Munn, thank god) are additive across categories. That means when Coruscant has a 20% increase across the board, and we have a 60% increase to Silver Cross income, the multiplier is 1.8, not a 1.2 to the Coruscant total then a 1.6 to the overall sum. This was annoying as fuck to realize. Keep this in mind when making changes, and when estimating the increase from such bonuses.

5) I have not updated this to include this turn's changes yet.

6) As I just went off the list on the front page, there are undoubtedly some things missing if there are effects not listed on there. While the totals match the front page, there may be some smaller details that are missed.

I'm not sure how I feel about using much of my day off on this but so be it.

(Also, Assassinating Shu Mai is an auto-success so y'know).

No they're a part of the Galaxy of Fear Series, under novel 'Brain Spiders'. Which is basically Goosebumps for Star Wars... and honestly they're tame considering the other title horrors.

They're in a lot of things, considering they're a vital part of Jabba's Palace lore wise. They're even in the background in Return Of The Jedi
