Magical Girl Escalation Taylor (Worm/Nanoha)

But that's not what we're saying though.
Actually, it is. "take you down" is a statement with very... final, implications. Implications that easily fit into Lisa's preconceptions for Taylor. If you meant otherwise, then you shouldn't use language that can be mistaken otherwise. Such as 'take you to the PRT', or 'arrest you'.

But it's too late now. The Bandwagon's rolling.

[X] Trust no one – Verify everything you've been told before making a decision. You don't trust either party in this situation, but you can't completely rule out that Tattletale is telling the truth. And it wouldn't hurt to have Perfect Storm do some digging of its own for verification, so you'll take a rain check for now.
-[X]But make it clear that she's the one asking you for help, so it's best for her to watch what she says and who's secrets she's throwing around. You're well within your rights to take her down to the PRT right now since she's prying into your secret identity and she's a Villain, so it's best for her to keep that in mind.
-[X] Begin by telling her that if we were really as crazy as she says we are, she would probably be dead right now. Possibly ask her if the cops and robbers thing is how the world works, or just how she wants it to work. We are already moving carefully to minimize the probability and potential impact of our actions beginning a gang war, but leaving things as they are is an even worse option no matter what she tries to tell herself.

Thanks @Always Late for pointing out how the current bandwagon could be misinterpreted by Tattletale.

Well, that was my mistake in wording then. I can't really change it now, but the same message would still come across.

Also, Lisa should be able to read us enough to figure out that we don't intend on killing her or anything, but twisting our words against us is definitely something she would do if she wants to pressure us some more.

Hopefully she values her freedom over needling us for no reason, though.

But it's too late now. The Bandwagon's rolling.

... It's not too late, votes can change and have been. I'd say something about never giving up, but sometimes it is too late to stop a bandwagon or to convince people.

This is not that time though. Just thought I'd say that since this is like the second or third time someone said that in this thread and the "bandwagon" changed afterwards. >.>

1. Preconceived notions. If Lisa believes what she's been saying, then she'll hear that. Worse, Silently might have Taylor think along the same lines as well, which eliminates Lisa's power telling her Taylor's true intent.
2. All the more reason I hope this new bandwagon catches steam and overtakes the old one.
I can't really change it now
Actually, you can. Just make a new post with the new vote. You could even tag the users who voted for your plan and ask them to switch too. Probably won't get everyone, but it's worth the effort.

*remembers that I'm that someone* *sweatdrop* Point taken.

Goddamit Lisa, are you TRYING to get killed?
(I know the answer is probably yes, but...)

The funny part is...she's right. Danny IS eventually going to cross the lines and trigger what happened to Lung in canon(where Undersiders teamed up with E88 to take him down). She doesn't know about nonlethal blasting, yet.

Changing to this.

Only worry I have is that the optional third paragraph add-on might split the vote.

Then I'll just use the one that Schielman updated.

So @EVA-Saiyajin, @ReaperofInterest, @Crimson Doom, @CosmosQueen, @Akasha, @DinoHank , could you please update your votes to replace the bolded part?

Actually, as long as you have the main vote, you're fine. It should be counted with the rest of the people who did the Trust no one vote.

Let the author do the rest, IMO. The farther afield you go in a write in the more likely something blows up in your face, even without authorial intent. Plus the rest is just overplaying our hand. It's entirely possible Lisa is doing this for coil to see if we'd turn against him, because Coil thinks we're secretly just a gang and not heroes.

We gain nothing by telling Lisa the rest of what you guys are talking about besides showing her several of our cards.

This is Tattletale we're talking about. The only sane response to doing anything concerning her is to assume that she already knows your whole hand.

...Make sure you slash through the previous votes so it doesn't get counted twice. Makes it easier for SW to do the tally.

And if you explicitly tell her your whole hand, she can extrapolate out most of your deck. The more you give Super Intuition, the better it works.

I fail to see why this is a big problem. She already knows more than enough to completely screw us over; what's a little more information about our motives that she'll get anyway if we just say the first part?

This is the kind of girl who can divine a password to a bank's backdoor out of thin air, and completely miss that she shouldn't mouth off to Jack Slash.

Just because she knows your hand doesn't mean she's an expert at playing the game.
