Skulltaker

The Skulltaker is not easily surprised, being the favorite herald of the blood god granted you that, he wasn't like his other kin he did not blindly attack his opponent in moments of pure rage, not that he didn't had these moments of pure fury.

He didn't fight like a berserker – blindly lashing out against the enemy he fought like a master.

Many had been granted a glorious death by his blade, their skulls naturedly taken, from kings to emperors all have met glorious death.

But that's not to say he is invincible, he was defeated in the past, of course he would met these foes who had bested him and before the duel he would congratulate them for defeating him, before he would destroy them.

No one had ever survived past the second encounter they had with him. When he was traveling across some region of the Imperium searching for a worthy foe to duel, he was summoned by his lord the mighty Khorne who gave him a task.

A champion had appeared in a another reality who showed potential and he would test him.
His lord looked surprisingly lucid when he was informing him of this task.

If the champion managed to survive in a duel against him lasting 88 minutes he would been granted the blessing of the blood god.

His task given he was send off to the location of the champion, his coming heralded by a surge in conflict in the world, emerging in a shower of blood and bone he faced the champion – who was already there, waiting for him, he didn't look particularly impressive.

Except for his eyes, he had seen many followers of his lord and dueled them too all of them had that furious look in their eyes and so their movements were easily predictable, but the eyes of this particular champion had no fury only an impressive amount of focus, and he was surprised by that.

The duel began in its earnest.

Interlude: Emperor of The Dead
The art of necromancy is banned and shunned on the entirety of the world, the ones who practice it being seen as dangerous individuals who need to be put down at best.

Cabals of necromancers exist in various places in the world, while the majority of them are in the service of the von carsteins there are still some who are independent from them.

These cabals practice the art of necromancy seeking immortality, great magical abilities or something else.

Ten of these cabal's were contacted by a particular individual.

A member of von carstein lineage of vampires but he, no it was very different from its kin, mortals who learn the art of magic have a sixth sense which allows them to passively look at the immaterial realm, this can be triggered when in the presence of an incredibly powerful magical being.

The vampire was a wall all-consuming darkness with fetches of light inside, its face was hidden but some managed to look into it. Some become little than fanatics while others became gibberish wrecks who committed suicide mere moments after meeting with him.

They left inscriptions written in their own blood before dying, the title "Emperor of The Dead" being repeated over and ove.

The cabals immediately join in part of fear, admiration, and morbid curiosity.

Results of The Interlude:

1. Gain 100 necromancers.

Interlude: Holy Judges
Aleksander POV

When Aleksander ordered the creation of the organization known as the holy judges, he alredy planned fifty different ways to utterly destroy it from both within and without.

The Holy Judges a force serving the church as its chamber militant, it is good that he holds total control over the church, but this could not always be and so he made contingencies in case he could not communicate anymore with his worshippers, and the church grew into becoming an organization just like the imperial witch hunters.

Time would tell if these would ever be used, he dearly hoped that the things that may led to these contingencies being enacted will not happen.

Now if only he could guess why Jeanne is staring at him with depraved flustered eyes.

Jeanne POV

Many had asked her why did she would dedicat everything to the god of knowledge, the only thing she would say to them was always 'why I shouldn't?'.

Her life had been miserable in the past, her family did not have much and she watched many times as her family members died from starvation.

Only her mother remained, until she too had passed away. Years passed and she was grown woman but the scars still remained, she was - and still is - considered a beautiful woman but she never put any thought into finding love.

And then she along with the others were banished from their home, she doesn't know why and never will bother to know either.

But she must give thanks to them, because if she had never been banished she would had never met her caring master, she will serve him for eternity.

Jeanne knew sadness and despair, and now she knew True Love and Happiness.

Results of The Interlude:

1. Church of Knowledge, chamber militant created
