Ogres of Wallchia (or Dark Ogres, True Dragon Ogres, ect.)
Omake: Ogres of Wallchia (or Dark Ogres, True Dragon Ogres, ect.)

Much can be said about the dark beasts of wallachia, ranging from the dreadful dragons to the horrific dire wolves, to the vampiric ghouls, and other nightly terrors that reign supreme within those tainted and blasted lands, but never has anything gone so far as when the ogres of the old world had turned to the worship of the Dark Dragon himself. By what accounts i have been able to gather from our true imperial ogres that had migrated to the empire and integrated themselves into the cults of taal and esmeralda, the dark dragon had sent a emmissary to the ogre tribes, each challenging the butchers of said tribes in a mystical duel for ownership of the tribes souls.

the winner would devour the loser, and the tribe will be blessed...naturally the greedy butchers of the ogre tribes aggreed to such contests of might and feasting...yet it proved their undoing as the challenger revealed themselves as either treacherous vampires, serpentine dragons of the east, or far worse the dark god himself, if not one of his other children that had learned to shift their form into that of a mortal!

for a full decade since the defeat of the chaos incursion into kislev, the dark dragon sought after the strength and might of the ogre tibes...and attained them through dark acts of treachery, malice, and fury that shook the heavens as the Maw and the Dragon both clawed and tried to devour one another, yet in the end the dark dragon was successful, and attained the loyalty of numerous tribes of the ogres, from what little i was able to understand from the rough speech of the bestial creatures, over half of their full population had perished in the civil war, with ogres fighting one another in a brutal festival of carnage and bloodshed...the ones that survived and took up the mantle of the dark dragon had been changed from their previously large forms (both in height and middling mass), to become taller, stronger, and ripple with muscles and scales if not spikes similar to the draconic children of the dark dragon.

Many of these tribes' overlords had been gifted with shard dragons, each one an elder of their species whose hunger could match that of their new riders. Otherwise, the new shamans of the tribes are often times intelligent spell-casters who utilize the dark powers of the dragon god to turn entire chunks of the battlegrounds into a hell-scape of razor blades, hungering maws that draw souls of the unfortunate into the dark maw of the dragon, and more often more terrible spells.

one could theorize that with so many ogres in the area, that the dragon would have trouble feeding them all...that is not true in the most unfortunate ways, for the dark dragon utilizes bastardized magics, twisted metal contraptions, terrible beasts, and other ways to create more than enough food to feed his followers, feed his children, and even ogres have been reported to have feasted enough that they could not eat another bite!

though we in the empire are fortunate with the Maws death that the new integrated Imperial Ogres no longer have the super ravenous hunger, but rather do eat far more than a mortal man but is manageable, especially if one has the halflings on staff or at hand to provide the kitchens.

EMPEROR-I don't know if i should be happy or horrified

thank you for the contribution...but yeah Wallachia Ogres are "close" to dragons, more akin to half dragons or quarter dragons due to their blessings, not the centaur dragon ogres. In fact the way i see it the Dragon ogres are basically Heretics on a extreme level for insulting the greatest devourer and master of the Ogre race. The Supreme Overlord of Overlords with so many titles they are STILL coming up with them when they go on drinking binges...though they do record the best ones on a large skin from a slain beast that would be their dinner, and then add it to the GREAT list of names that all Wallachian Ogres learn (also helps them read and write so they can bargain supplies like pelts, animal parts they have no eaten, monster parts, or whatever they find in the wilderness as hunters/trackers/adventurers.)

also helps that wallachian ogres are proud, greedy, and wrathful people, also intelligent (for a ogre), And oh so terrifying when they got into a blood-rage frenzy.

Much like the Wallachian Shard Dragons, the buggers would use their spikes, scales, and any other divine blessings to rip and tear untill there is only pieces left of their enemies...and only the ogres have the hide thick enough to withstand being around and playing/fighting with the shard dragons.

Next Steps IV
Dark Fortress' by Jorge Jacinto : ImaginaryLandscapes | Fantasy castle, Fortress concept art, Fantasy landscape

The siege of Praag has begun, the united forces of Men, Elf, and Dwarf have advanced towards the fallen city and surrounded it from all sides. They have laid siege to it for nearly two days, their encampments away from the fortress long enough so that they would not be hit by the enemy artillery. Which was providing the most problem for the forces of order. After all, every time they sent forces to take Praag, the enemy daemonical artillery would constantly batter them, reducing their numbers so that the assault would prove worthless and only bring more casualties.

The terrain itself was also an issue, the touch of the Blood God having transformed the once frozen wasteland into a fiery hell, where lakes and rivers of lava were spread across the land, and constant ashes fell, a single misstep could send a soldier into a fiery death.

Of course, this didn't mean they themselves did not launch their own artillery barrages, through only material and not magical, as the fallen city has proved that it was immune to any magical attempt to either destroy with or infiltrate it. Rendering the Mages of the allied force useless, their only contribution being their divinations, which allowed the forces of order to prepare against counterattacks made by the enemy forces, which heralded from the outside of the fortress.

Khornete forces heralding from all across the conquered territories nigh-constantly attacked the camps of the Alliance, seeking to destroy them before they could take the fortress. As of now, the siege was a war of attrition. One side would break eventually, not being able to sustain the hellish theater of war. Eventually, one side would make a mistake and the other would take full advantage of it.

But right now both needed a Stompin, something that would turn the tide to their favour and forces were already being arranged to hopefully be sent towards Praag. So that the last battle of the Blood Tide would officially begin.

The Army of Death
- Undead: 3,454,025 Skeleton Warriors; 1,422,614 Zombies; 12,510,705 Grave Guard; 15,336,673 Black Knights; 153 Undead Giants
- Magical Forces: 90 Necromancers

Locations (You can split your forces if you want to):
- [] Praag: The greatest hub of chaotic corruption and where the leader of the invasion resides, it is being sieged by a combined force of Kislev, Imperial, Elven, and Dwarven. It is currently in a stalemate, but this will not last very long. (Taking this location has a high chance of ending the main conflict of the invasion)
- [] Fort Ostrok: One of the primary set of forts that stand at the border between Kislev and the far north and Troll Country. It was amongst the first to fall to the forces of Chaos. The servants of Khorne here are varied, having not only the gods' human worshippers but also Chaos Trolls dedicated to Khorne.
- [] Laryn: An Industrial Hub before the arrival of the Blood Tide, the fall of the city has done little to change that, as Chaos Dwarves have changed it to suit both them and the Blood Tide needs for weapons and supplies.

Considering we are getting Tjapa cults in the future I can honestly say out of possible chaos gods he isn't even in the top 5 for me since we could be dealing with the yellow king

best case scenario for purging we have to purge only the mortals who fight them face to face and the locals near us fighting them worse case entire armies

The Yellow King is actually the Raptor, the Chaos God of Terror, Fear, and other nasty things whose number is Four. Which is exactly the reason he is never, ever, going to appear, as the rising of the God of Fear marks the beginning of the end, and the only way to save reality would be to exterminate all life.

Of course things them become increasingly worse if the Dark Machine rise, because at that point Chaos has pretty much won.

Let's put an end to this.

This version is actually associated with flesh and is different than from canon.RH(Roboutian Heresy the fic where the thing comes from) also apparently it's so terrifying that other followers of chaos fear it and fabius Bile of all people broke off a research agreement with them bbecause IT VIOLATED HIS ETHICAL PRINCIPLES so you know they're fucked up. The Queen
Among tech-priests clued in on the Lie of Iron, it is a common saying that below Mars' surface lies the noospheric equivalent of Hell. Knowledge of the things that dwell below their feet is very distressing for the tech-priests, and the Collective must often intervene to help them retain their sanity in the face of the illogical madness of the Haydesian Kingdoms.
Thousands of years ago, not long after the War of the Beast, one of the adepts assigned to the secret war had to be mind-wiped after going violently insane during the examination of memory cores recovered from slain Dark Mechanicum skitarii whose corruption was judged to be manageable, if the proper procedures were followed. The Collective, after reviewing both the judgment and the procedures that had been employed, could find no fault in them, and as they purged the mind of the unfortunate adept, they carefully examined his memories of the skitarii's own remembrances.
Through the many filters and safeguards, they found only one thing : a name, burned into the mind of the enemy unit with such malevolent strength that it had been enough to drive the adept to madness. It was the name of the dark skitarii's master, and it was only one word : "Queen". The rulers of the Haydesian Kingdoms with an identity of their own use many titles (Mecharch, a rank invented during the Heresy, is especially used), but this was the first time such a monarchical title had ever been recorded in the Collective's archives.
The first and only time the Queen personally joined the frontlines of the war is remembered well by the Collective and the handful of researchers they allowed to retain the memory. Under +++DATA CORRUPTED – INITIATING RECOVERY … FAILURE … INITIATING ALTERNATE PROTOCOLS … SUCCESS+++ its/her leadership, the armies of the Haydesian Kingdoms (it/she had managed to rally a coalition of several of its/her rivals) managed to reach the lowest levels of one of Mars' forge-cities. It took a combined strike by the Mechanicus, twelve agents of the Officio Assassinorum, and five whole Companies of Space Marines to defeat the incursion. Even then, the Queen it/herself wasn't destroyed, merely forced to withdraw back into its/her domain, after having slain three Astartes Captains and all of the Assassins set after it/her.
The origins of the Queen are unknown, and the subject of much speculation among both the Cult Mechanicus and the Haydesian Kingdoms. Some believe it/her to be a creation of Vulkan, gifted to the magi who would become the Dark Mechanicum before the outbreak of the Heresy. Others claim that it/she was once known as Sota-Nul, the treacherous apprentice of Fabricator-General Kelbor-Hal himself. A few whisper that it/she is the "daughter" of Moravec himself, an Abominable Intelligence crafted by the arch-heretek that went mad and succumbed to the corruption of Chaos, imprisoned beneath the surface of Mars during the Dark Age of Technology and unleashed when the unsuspecting Haydesian Kingdoms breached the walls of its/her prison. And, according to the religious texts of a sect that is hunted through all the Kingdoms, it/she is the avatar of a nascent Dark God of Chaos, born of the Dark Mechanicum's relentless hunt for unholy knowledge.
Regardless of where it/she came from, the Queen leads one of the mightiest Kingdoms of the Haydes. Its/her body is a segmented construct, with different parts using different unhallowed technologies. The ancient and inhuman mind that controls this grotesque body can move between different types of "hardware" with ease, passing from cloned brains to hydrogen-cooled cogitators without losing its/her train of thought. It is its/her face, though, that is most known and feared : it is a mask of flesh, perfectly resembling a normal, human, even beautiful female face – but there is something utterly wrong about it that sets even the most monstrous members of the Dark Mechanicum on edge.
In the infernal tongue of the Neverborn, it/she is called Victory, for none who challenged it/her survived. In the corrupt cant of the dark magi, it/she is called Glory, for it/she represents the pinnacle of Dark Technology's vile potential. And the Martian Collective simply call her the Queen, for there is power in names, and it/she is already more than powerful enough for their liking. Or at least, that is the reason they give to those who ask them. The truth is that, no matter how hard they try, they cannot wipe out the imprint of that first contact, millennia ago, made through a mad tech-priest's recollection of a dark skitarii's memories.

To be fair, the Raptor is literally The Chaos God of Fear. His birth also heralds the beginning of the end. He and his followers are horrifying no matter the timeline because they have to be horrifying, otherwise they aren't the lords of fear. RH showed this perfectly with the Raven Guard easily, making them without doubt the most horrifying of the Traitor Legions, which they have to be. After all, they are the servants and heralds of Fear.

And besides even canon Traitor Legions do some fucked up shit, just look at the Iron Warriors with their infamous little project.

Edit: Also what do you mean different from Canon? Besides a few lines of text, the Raptor was never fully expanded.

Quote of the day: Lives are the Emperor's currency. Spend them wisely.

Nine different operatives died to bring this information in.

Name: Sherrel Wellerman. The Burning Death. The Cackling Inferno.

Type: Psyker slash Lich. Order of the Fire Wizards.

Location: Midnight Hive World Seran.

Physical description: Sherrel is a rather small woman at only five foot four inches. Her hair is a dark brown bordering on red. A pair of large green eyes set over a button nose. Pale pink slightly full lips. Fairly full figured in terms of general shape. Lightly muscled from regular physical activity. Skin is lightly tanned from activity outside and frequent exposure to flames. Could be and has been described as almost cherub like in appearance.

Do not let her appearance fool you. This woman is immensely dangerous. What she lacks in intimidation ability she compensates for in power.

Personality: Sherrel's appearance is rather deceptive when it comes to her actual behavior and personality. She is an exemplar of her college possessing an advanced knowledge and capability in her form of sorcery. However she is also an extreme example of the issues that come with being a wielder of the wind of fire. She had been described as hyper aggressive in combat and in general. The woman herself appears to enjoy winding people up and provoking reactions out of them if she can. Observed to be highly sarcastic in mannerisms. Known to be highly passionate in whatever she is doing at the time. Her greatest passion however has always been the betterment of her magic and combat in general. When in combat she has been cited to give in to hyper aggressive tendencies and largely disregard usual procedure if they do not order her to stop. Once engulfed in battle her more dangerous tendencies appear to emerge. Surviving guardsmen have reported displays of a vicious sadistic nature that thrives on the suffering of her enemies. Particularly in finding ways to inflict greater suffering through the use of her fire magic.

Boons: The witch like many of her ilk had received boons from her master. Her vile acts and contributions in war having earned its favor. She has been gifted their blasphemous form of immortality. Entering a state of Undeath despite technically being still alive. Her soul tethered to prevent her from dying.

In addition she has gained other boons from the dragon. Namely those of the physical variety. Apparently having tired of her small form and requested power to match that of her sorcery. Now she possesses physical power of far greater scale than her form would suggest. Being able to easily outmuscle a fully armored Space Marine. Along with the durability to match.

Notes: Like all her ilk her sorcery is unusually stable. Our research indicates this to be twofold in nature. The first being craft is specifically designed to provide stability at the cost of variety. The second being the mark of her dark master warding away daemons.

This one is not to be underestimated. If she is spotted expect it to start raining fire quickly.

Ten different operatives died to bring this information in.

Name: Maxwell Anderson. The Grand Alchemist. The Gilded Ruin.

Type: Psyker slash Lich. Order of the Gold Wizards.

Location: Midnight Hive World Seran.

Physical description: Maxwell is a large man standing at six foot one inches. Light brown eyes that appear almost golden in certain lighting. A straight aristocratic nose. A strong squared jawline with firm cheek bones. Thick black hair that falls in bangs over his forehead. Piercings in both ears. Broad shouldered with an appropriately broad chest on top of a comparatively slim waist. Body is heavily muscled from a self imposed exercise regimen. Small horizontal scar across his right cheek from an accident early in life.

Personality: Maxwell despite what his imposing form might suggest is a scholarly person. Preferring to spend time in his experimenting with materials and his magic. He possesses a rather logical disposition seeming to pay little heed to emotions of any kind. Highly pragmatic and will always follow the path that he judges to have the best chance of success. However is willing to take risks if he judges the potential reward to be worth it. Cool in temperament and highly calculated in behavior. Seems to a have a severe dislike for relying on chance or dealing with unknown and difficult to quantify variables. A firm believer in the idea of doing things oneself to make sure they are done right. Appears to be fond of routine and dislikes disruptions of any kind. Largely humorless, but has demonstrated a rather dry sense of wit on occasion. Seems to enjoy logic puzzles and similar academic affairs. Noted to be brutally honest at times as he considers things such as white lies pointless. Potentially has a vengeful streak against those he feels have greatly wronged him.

Boons: The witch like many of his ilk had received boons from his master. His vile acts and contributions in war having earned its favor. He has been gifted their blasphemous form of immortality. Entering a state of Undeath despite technically being still alive. His soul tethered to prevent her from dying.

His other boons are of a less physical nature. Namely an enhancement to that of his sorcery. The most significant of which is the enhancement of transformation. The ability of his craft to manipulate and alter matter. Converting it to one form from another. He has been known to convert the strongest armor to brittle glass.

In addition he received a boost to his intelligence. Placing him on par with high ranking magi in terms of brain power.

Notes: Like all his ilk his sorcery is unusually stable. Our research indicates this to be twofold in nature. The first being craft is specifically designed to provide stability at the cost of variety. The second being the mark of his dark master warding away daemons.

Eight different operatives died to bring me this information.

Name: Melissa Briarwood. The Lady of the Woods. The Life Shaper.

Type: Psyker slash Lich. Order of the Jade Wizards.

Location: Midnight Agri World Greer.

Physical description: Melissa is a lovely woman of average height at five foot six inches. Her hair is a bright blond that seems to curve in splay out in an attractive that reminds people of the sun. Eyes that are a mixture of brown and green like fresh soil. A small mouth with full lips placed under an almost button like nose completes her facial features. Her right ear holds a green earring. Her skin is well toned from frequently being out in the sun among the fields. Her frame is well developed and has been described as motherly in a way. A degree of muscle is spread across her body from regular physical activity out among the fields.

Do not let her beauty deceive you. She is a psyker of immense power. One who has single-handedly brought down fortresses and hives.

Personality: Melissa's personality is perhaps well suited for the impression she gives off. She is a kind and soft spoken woman that gives off a perpetual aura of good will to all those around her. Children in particular seem to be a soft spot for her. This kindness is tempered by a strong will of steel and potent magic that shows she is not to be underestimated. The saying about roses and their thorns is somewhat appropriate here. A near pathological desire to help others appears to be a common trend for her. When not attending to her duties she is relatively laid back and pleasant company or she is doing a project of good will. A good example of this has been using her abilities to grow food in her personal gardens to hand out to the less fortunate. Though this his a much smaller issue in the Ascendancy than the Imperium. Alternatively she offers her healing services to orphanages and other such institutions.

At least this is the propaganda that surrounds her. Even if it is true it is likely a ruse to lure in more souls.

Boons: The witch like many of her ilk had received boons from her master. Her vile acts and contributions in war having earned its favor. She has been gifted their blasphemous form of immortality. Entering a state of Undeath despite technically being still alive. Her soul tethered to prevent her from dying.

Her own boons are of the biological make. Namely that if being a veritable fount of what she dubs life energy. Granting her vast regeneration and affecting the environment around her. Causing explosive growth where there should be none. Giving her more tools to destroy her foes the longer a battle lasts.

Notes: This one is a dangerous embodiment of the temptation of darkness. Keep a tight leash on your men lest they turn on you from honeyed words.

right, they already have a siege line made...and frankly from what i see if elven mages can't fuck with the forces of chaos here, then most we should do is dispel/banish daemons and buff the undead. Half and Half...or 40/40, the other 10 are on anti-ritual duty if we sense any of that shit.

otherwise, we dog-pile one of the parts of the fortress and force the khornates to focus on us or risk getting overrun in the rear by swarm of undead.

- Undead: 3,454,025 Skeleton Warriors; 1,422,614 Zombies; 12,510,705 Grave Guard; 15,336,673 Black Knights-990,000; 153 Undead Giants
- Magical Forces: 90 Necromancers

Hmm based on our graveguard numbers and skeleton warriors...have the skelly boys do the usual suppression with arrow-fire, grave-guard take the burnt of the assult, while zombies pile up on the most open part to allow black knights to charge in, undead giants are to target the artillery, towers, and gatehouse respectively.

Grave guard forward and close ranks to smash into shit like before, this time thankfully we don't spill blood on our side, besides the khornates that is so that's halved the potential blood thirster problem. Also with our force of 90 necromancers, that should buff any dispel/banishment on shit. Also soon, soon we can hit the damn chaos dwarves and chaos trolls...hopefully we can eventually hit troll country and figure out if any of the bones there can be raised for more undead, or at least collected.

afterwards we send diplomates to kislev and the empire, get our guys in there to spread the good word and get trade flowing. Also hit he witch-hunters hard and...offer...a solution to the problem of the disorganized idiots and FORCE the hunters to be part of the entire organization or be purged. Of course, we should also try to get estalia and tilea to finally fucking merge back into myriddia's empire so we can have a stronger southern border. That and it would allow us to grab the undead there and any potential vampires that would like to join us (under our rule of course).

not to mention the ruins and other stuff in the border princes, by the way we should get them united into a puppet state empire, that way were not completely surrounded. Also send emmissaries to nippon and cathcay so we can get more worshippers and of course trade.

arabia is a interesting place though, and the nehkkera would be a good challenge if settra the fucking chad isn't up and running. Otherwise stay out of that dead-land unless were fucking nagash over.
